The purple mare entered the neighborhood. It looked unremarkably like a scene from a descovery channel special. You know, the type where a huge fire or an explosion or a building comes down, and all you can see on the television are images upon images of the wreckage at some daft hour. You see the survivors of the incident crying on the curbs, shouting "Why us?" "Why destroy our home? Our belongings? Why'd it have to happen?" "Who could do such a thing?" And the occasional maintence vehicle, cleaning or repairing, trying to bring order to something that was brought to chaos. This is what Wysteria saw as she was walking the paved streets home, towards one of the luckier apartments caught in the green mare's blaze. And Wysteria, for the most part, tried to ignore it. But the artist instinct in her told her the oposite. How could she not take note of the agony in the victums' faces? How could she not try to capture that same moment in her memory, to try and reproduce on canvas in some way? How could she not just ignore others who were acting in a way that she should be acting to her own disaster? Wysteria sighed, she just didn't know. Shock perhaps? She didn't want to say she was still in shock about her apartment. But it was possible, it was more than likely possible. The purple mare trailed to her building. Workers were inside on the lower floors, building, re-establishing supports. She paid no attention to them, there wasn't a way up to her home through that mess. So she went back up the way she had earlier, through the fire escape. And once she reached her floor, she climbed in her open window and looked out to see if the other two had followed.

((cont. from Solsbury hill))
Moony wandered about trying to find out where and which way Wysteria went. Hmm, I wonder where's Trinket... She turned a corner and was shocked at what she saw. The guilt that was still paining her began to falter and was replaced by sorrow.
"So this is the fire Wysteria mentioned earlier." She said to herself quietly. "At least I know her apartment wasn't burnt to a crisp. Makes it a bit easier I guess. Wysteria's wouldn't be black and all..." But the workers and rubble blocked her path, and she still wasn't sure what Wysteria's apartment would look like. She looked at each surviving apartment and called out. "Wysteria, are you here? Trinket? Anyone? Hello?" Frowning she continued to look about until she saw what looked like Wysteria's head stickin' out of a window. Moony waved happily. "Hey Wysteria! Over here. How do I, er, get up there? And do you see Trinket anywhere?"

"Moony!," Wysteria called down the the unicorn. She pointed with a hoof to the fire escape stairway just under her window. "Climb up this! It's how we're going to get in and out until the stairs or an elevator is fixed!," she said to her," And I'm not quite sure where Trinket is! I'm trying to watch out for her glitter trail!!"

"Ok. I hope Trinket didn't get lost." Moony called out frowning. She made her way to the fire escape stairway, looking every now and then for the summerwing, hoping she was ok. She climbed up the stairway and though the open window. Looking around, Wysteria's place was exactly what Moony thought it would be like; an artist's home full of pictures and paints and everything an artists needs... that is besides the black wall and a few black items. She looked about smiling; she liked the feel of the room , nice and sweet, but as she moved towards the black wall, the rooms 'pleasantness' seemed as though it was burnt off. Frowning, she moved away from the wall and turned and spotted a lovely picture. "Ooo." Moony moved in closer to examine it This was recently done by the look of it, what Wysteria used to do it, Moony didn't have a clue. "Wow... its goregous... is this one of your pieces of art Wysteria?... I have never seen anything like this before... its so captivating..." Moony continued to simply look at the picture as though she saw something in it. "Hmm, see Trinket yet?" She said in a dreamy voice.

Trinket was utterly unaffected by the heart-wrenching scene outside the building. Why should she be? There were no shinies there. It didn't take her too long to track down Wysteria and Moony--The little bits of glitter on the fire escape were a dead giveaway. Her arrival into the apartmen was much more pronounced than usual, the pesky glitter trail now accompanied by two silver bells hanging from her neck. Those were her finest shinies... They not only shone, they were musical!
"Sorry I'm late... I dropped these--" She shook her head, causing the bells to jangle. "--and had to stop to get them back."

(ooc: Oooh, hope you get better Victory!)
Wysteria smiled at the bells. "Well, I'm glad you managed to make it," she told her, then she held out a hoof to her home. "This is what the fire left. I'm luckier than others," she said refering to the others outside. She then answered to Moony about the painting. "Yes, that's the one I finished this morning. It's still wet though, I used oils, so it's a toss up as to when exactly it'll be dry. I was commissioned to do it, and thankfully it didn't get killed with my portfolio pieces.," she said taking a look at it herself. "Well, are you guys hungry? I can see what I can scrounge up."
(ooc: Not sure whether or not I plan to make Wysteria a bad cook or not.)

((occ: ô.ô who's unwell?))
Moony snapped out of it when she heard the bells jingle. She spunn around carefully and smiled at Trinket. "Oh, there you are Trinket!" Ooo pretty silver bells... hmm wonder where she got those from... Oh well She trotted up to Wysteria and frowned. "What a pity about the portfolios." She sighed... "I guess I do feel kinda hungry. Its been a while since I last ate the sundae. Not that it was much of a meal, more of a treat. Something simple wouldl be nice..."

Wysteria nodded. "Yeah, it is a shame about my portfolio. But I suppose it was time I started a new one anyway," she said trying to be on the bright side. "Now...let's see what do I have?" She went off to the kitchen and opened the fridge. The majority of it was pretty bare. An empty carton of milk, half a head of lettece. Left overs from a month ago that she'd left untouched. Wysteria herself was pretty surprised at the contents. Now that she thought about it, she could quite remember whether or not she actually went to the fridge for an actual meal since she started on that painting. "I suppose I'll have to do some shopping at Bloomin's tomorrow." She closed the fridge and began to head towards her pantry, which gladly had snack foods, cereal, canned foods. She grabbed a couple boxes of cereal and headed towards the others. "Haven't shopped in a while," she said half embarassed," We can munch on this, but I don't have milk. So we'll have to do without."

((It's just a cold, West Nile, something. Nothing serious.)) To Trinket, whose main source of nutrition was the occasional sip of flower nectar and maybe some grass, the cereal was a gourmet treat. Besides, she found ponies bought the whole baby-filly act when she pretended to be easily excited. "That's... wow! That's great, Wysteria, thank you so much!" She squirmed with delight, flying in little circles. Just like when she was actually a foal. Once Trinket noticed she was getting glitter on the carpet, she quickly landed and blushed. "Oops... Sorry. No more flying indoors."

(ooc: All right, *hands chicken noodle soup over anyway*)
Wysteria handed a box over to the giddy Trinket, and a box towards Moony. She then opened her own box, shaking it and peering inside to see how much food she'd get. Not much. However....no...wait, yes! There was a little cereal toy in there! Wysteria laughed, digging a hoof into the box and pulling out the little pieces of fake jewelry that was shoved in the box for free. Knowing she wouldn't use them herself, she handed them to Trinket. "I'm sure you'll have a better use for them than I will.," she said, and went digging back to her meal.

((occ: Oh. I hope you get well soon Victory. ^-^))
Moony giggled as Trinket fluttered around. Aww, how cute!... Hmm, I wonder if butterfly wings are better than feathery ones... "Hey, Thanks Wysteria." Moony looked into the box, examing the amount of food in it. "Mmm" She dung her hoof into the box to see if anything was in there too, which was besides the cereal. No such luck. "Sorry Trinket, my box is out of toys"
Smiling at Wysteria thinking that she beeter give her something to eat in return of the cereal, she thought of the three left over muffins. "Here have a muffin on my behalf." She took out another muffin and gave it to Wysteria. "I hope its not too cold or has gone stale. She frowned at the remaining two muffins. She didn't want to eat one since it wasn't quite meant for her. "Do you want another muffin Trinket?"

Wysteria thankfully took the muffin and and began to eat it, stopping occasionally for a bite of the cereal. It was a tiny bit stale, what with being in a backpack all day, but it wasn't to the point to be upset over. Besides, muffins were a treat at the moment for Wysteria, especially if they were Cottan Candy's. She couldn't remember the last time she went to the café either. All because of work on her painting. She chuckled at that. She either had no life or was trully dedicated to her work. Both seemed correct at the same time to her. She shrugged the thoughts off though. When all's said and done, I'll probably end up settling down, sooner or later. But I'll always paint regardless.

Trinket was nearly faint. This place was unbelieveable! Shinies, cereal, and now a muffin? "You two are going to spoil me rotten," The Summerwing giggled, "...not that I have any complaints about that, of course! Thank you very much, Wysteria. And you too, Moony! This has been the best day of my life!" Forcing herself to calm down, Trinket smiled.

Moony smiled. "Well I'm glad you are enjoying yourself, Trinket." Moony now had one muffin left in her bag. Wwhat she was going to do with it, she had no idea, but her mind was set on not eating it. This muffin should be for the indigo pony... She thought sadly. But it isn't likely that I will see her again. I hope she is in safe hands.... She took a thoughtful nibble out of the cereal, thinking very hard. Then something she remembered came to her.
"Wysteria? Do you think we will still be able to go see the, er...-" what was that creature called a again... can't. Remember... "-Go to Rooties Icecream Shoppe? Wasn't the..." Moony paused. A story. "A Story. Someone was going to tell us a story about a 'Megan'... something like that anyway. Are we still goin'?"

Trinket munched away on the cereal happily. At Moony's stumbling question, she tilted her head cutely. "What's a Megan? Is it a kind of pony?" Certainly didn't sound like anything she'd ever heard of before, anyways...
