"And that one up there is Oran the Adventurer," Razzaroo was pointing to a constellation in the heavens. "See those three stars there are the map sticking out of his knapsack. And that one's the tip of his horn. He's a unicorn."
"I see," Silverfall said, amused. She was laying in the soft grass beside the bank of the Rainbow River. The stars winked softly overhead and it was as if the babble of the stream was their chatter. Somewhere on the other side of the river, Silverfall's dog was hunting his dinner. And Razzaroo was excitedly pointing out all of the stars he knew. But Silverfall was content just to stare into the depths of space, listening to the voice of the deep dark as it spoke to her soul.
Somewhere in the great wide world are the answers to life's greatest mysteries. I may not live to find them all, but knowing they are out there gives me peace.
Closing her eyes, Silverfall began to purr.
Razzaroo abruptly stopped talking. Closing his mouth, he figited where he lay in the grass next to Silverfall and tried to behave nonchalant. It wasn't easy. He caught himself looking sideways at the purring silver unicorn. And found himself trying to hold back a fit of coltish giggles.

((occ: Don't mind if I join?))
Laying by the river's waters, Silver Shadow watched the stars in the heavens quietly. By his side, a few sylphs and gnomes did the same, mimicing his position while the few undines in the water swam around lazily occasionally dipping into the water before resurfacing again. Happy that Silver Shadow was far from danger, the elementals spirits had returned to him, and Silver Shadow felt calm and safe at the knowledge of their presence. Everything felt peaceful and became more quieter, he loved the night and everything that came with it. Smiling, he closed his eyes and dreamed of his home far far away in another world. He didn't have a home here, but he knew he would find a temporary home in the forest in the futherest corner of the Outer Edges, away from the crowds of ponies and the houses and shoppes of colours. Away from the evil that disturbed the balance and peace of the land... His thoughts swam freely. He found himself thinking about the elemental ponies and the warning the spirits gave him.
The silence was broken by a giggle and he found himself hearing the sounds around him in Ponyville again. No longer in the world of his thoughts, Silver Shadow opened his eyes and realised that a few of the elementals had disappeared; only his sylph and two fat gnomes remained. He sat up and looked around only to see the two ponies he had seen at the Curiousity Shop and the fire; Razzaroo and Silverfall. The giggle must of came from Razzaroo, he thought smiling inwardly. They can be trusted. He got up and walked over to them silently until he was in view, and hoping that he wasn't disturbing them. It won't do them any harm to say hello. He smiled slightly. "Hello." he said to them, unsure if they had heard.

Silverfall's eyes snapped open. Her ears swiveled in the newcomer's direction, followed by her gaze. "Hello," she said as she nodded to the grassy bank beside her, indicating the stranger was welcome to come forward.
"Oh, I remember you," Razzaroo said. "You stopped by my shop. What was your name again?"
(OOC: You're welcome to join.).

Gweena silently walked to the River, Lotus at her flank. Silently, until Lotus stepped on a twig and made a loud 'cracking' noise, "Lotus!", Gweena hissed.
"Sorry.", Lotus whispered in reply.

The unexpected crack of the twig almost brought Razz to his feet, but Silverfall remained calm at his side. She kept an eye Silver Shadow, but over her shoulder directed her voice into the tall river grass.
"Come forward, please," she said. "That we may all see each other clearly."

"Silver Shadow." He replied. "If I am correct, you are the owner of the Curiousity Shop." He made his way to where Silerfall had indicated, but he remained standing.
The snap of a twig didn't startle him. He remained were he was, though he felt the presence of more elemental spirits, especially undines and gnomes. He knew who the two newcomers were. The elemental ponies of water and earth.
They are probably the half-sisters Nightingale was looking for. She did ask if I could help her find her sisters. And now I have found them. With out moving, he summoned his pale-gold sylph to his side, who was watching the newcomers and was probaby thinking along the same lines as Silver Shadow, but cared less about it. Please, Go look for Nightingale. Silver Shadow asked him though his thoughts. Tell her that her half-sisters are by the rainbow river... The sylph smiled and nodded before flying off.
((sylph cont. at Solsbury Hill))
Wondering if he had done the right thing or not, Silver Shadow continued to direct his attention to the others.

The two ponies walked slowly towards the others. A fat little gnome ran up to Gweena, and hugged her leg so hard, she stumbled.

Silver Shadow smiled inwardly as the little gnome ran up to Gweena. He felt a bit surprised at the fact that the gnome hugged her, but he knew he shouldn't be. Gnomes were, afterall, the elemental creatures of earth. The elemental ponies probably do see the elementals. It fits anyway with them having magic that deals with the elements. Silverfall and Razzaroo didn't seem to notice the little spirits running up to newcomers, but he knew it was likely that they couldn't see them.
"Are you ok?" Silver Shadow asked Gweena when she stumbled.

"Oh, yes. Silver Shadow!" Razzaroo said and watched the other newcomers with interest. He rose to his feet. "Hello, ladies. What are you doing out here at this time of night?" Then he blushed. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean it like that... I mean we're all out here together... come and join us?" He looked at Silverfall to see what her impression was, knowing her senses would likely tell her if they were good or bad.
Silverfall tilted her head, greatly intriqued. She been thinking about the day of the neighborhood fire, for she knew the stallion had been responsible for the rain, but the arrival of the newcomers left her greatly more curious. The same deep magic ran in the others as did the first, though she wasn't sure he realized just how powerful he was. She remained still, keeping her pose aloof as she inwardly analyzed the scene.
Razz turned back to the mares. "My name is Razzaroo. Nice to meet you..." He held out his hoof.

He smiled slightly at the way Razzaroo reacted when the mares came into view. I wonder how he would react if Nightingale comes As he thought about Nightingale, Silver Shadow began to feel rather uncomfortable. He turned his head away and looked at his reflection in the water. The undines smiled at him sweetly. It is best knowing than wondering... I wonder if they... recongnise me... Silver Shadow secretly hoped they didn't, but if Nightingale came with the pale-gold sylph, they would find out soon enough.
He had a slight feeling that Silverfall knew something. Razzaroo did mention something about her before when he met them. Well, I hope Razzaroo can distract them from me for a while... I need to collect my thoughts for now...

"Oh, no, I'm fine.", Gweena said to Silver Shadow. She then dipped her head in greeting to Razz, "Hello. Nice to meet you, Razzaroo. I'm Gweena, and this is my sister Lotus."
Lotus also dipped her head in greeting to Razzaroo, then nodded at the two others, "And what may your names be?", she asked.

"That's Silver Shadow and Silver Fall. I mean, Silverfall," Razzaroo said with a glimmer of delight. "Hey, I just realized you both have silver in your name." He looked around at them, then back to Lotus and Gweena. "Well, welcome to our little river party, I guess. You new to these parts, too? Seems like everyone is new these days." At this he seemed a little more disappointed than usual.

((sylph returns!))
The unicorn nodded his head in greeting to the two mares. Silver Shadow smiled at Razzaroo's remark. So we do... He watched Razzaroo for a moment, unsure why Razz would be disappointed. Thinking that it could be about the who-to-trust situation, Silver Shadow was about to say something in hopes of cheering Razz up when his little sylph friend.
The sylph was beaming with pride and was unable to contain himself from buzzing around. So, you found Nightingale? The sylph nodded and held up two tiny fingers. Two ponies? The sylph nodded happily again and began to dance around Silver Shadow. The stallion looked out for Nightingale and raised his eyebrows. I hope you didn't get her lost. The sylph froze for a moment and began thinking so hard that he was furiously scatching his head, hoping for some idea or thought to appear. When the sylph realised that wasn't working, he stopped and shrugged. Silver Shadow sighed. They'll appear sooner or later.

Nightingale, in owl form, and Phenix, in phoenix form, glided down to alight beside Silver Shadow. While gliding, Nightigale had a protective tornado swirl around her for a moment, before appearing in her pony form. Phenix did the same, except she burst into flames before becoming her pony form again.

Silverfall was laughing at some unseen thing when the owl and phoenix appeared. Feeling the rush of their power, she rose to her feet. It was a defensive response to their display of fire and wind, but she steadied herself, awed and amazed.
Beside her Razz's breath came in three short gasps. Silverfall could see his open mouth curving up into a smile. He rushed forward toward the newcomers, his excitement preceding him. Silverfall put a quick foot on his tail and held him back. He didn't seem to notice.
"THAT WAS SO COOL!" Razzaroo's voice exploded over the river's soft rush and the nightly songs of the crickets and frogs. Silverfall cleared her throat and he shivered, pulling back a bit from the group. He smiled shyly.
"Sisters, you have to pardon our dear Razzaroo," Silverfall said. "Sometimes he doesn't know his own power." Meanwhile, she was trying to determine just how strange it was that these five strangers in particular happened to stumble upon her and her companion in the dark and tonight of all nights.
