Roux nodded. The cold was already setting in and he had a feeling that when it really hit no one would be doing much traveling. Roux chuckled lightly. It had been ages since he had caught snowflakes on his tongue.
"I probably should be going soon too." Roux admitted adjusting the load of sticks in his leg.
Roux smiled, "Wouldn't want the little guy to catch a cold."
The light brown stallion chuckled along with Jewel. Those little claws had to be sharp.

The golden pegasus took a moment to shake the newly fallen snow from her forelock and face, then looked up to Roux with a few small flakes still clinging to her eyelashes. She smiled a little shyly, "Yeah, I don't even know what to do with him as is, much less if he were to get sick."
Glancing toward the forest, then back to the stallion, Jewel added, "Better get going... I'm sure it won't be long before we see each other again," She laughed softly, managing a smile. Living so near, and both with such love for the outdoors, how could they not?

Roux nodded. Soon he would see her again. That he didn't doubt.
Roux's voice was soft as he dipped his head, "Until next time m'lady."
He would have bowed, had it not been for the wood he held. Even he knew the outcome. While it would have been good for a chuckle, he didn't feel the part of a clown today. Perhaps another day soon.
Smiling he retreated the way he came.

Mainsail saw Roux and a gold pegasus. She smiled at them and continued to watch the fish in the river. Ah, how peaceful the river was, with its rainbow colors.
