Rogue had been just about to open his mouth to reply to Angel, when the breezie spoke out again. Hopeful look appeared in his eyes.
"Yes, yes, Tramp," he said eagerly, nodding and pointing again to the town. "He's somewhere out there. He's the one you want. Go find him."

The purple mare nodded. "Yes, go find your......er......friend. He must be so worried about you!" She said to Poppy.

Poppy shook her head, her antennas quivering and her whole small body seeming to bob up and down in the air at the slight movement. "No, not Tramp. I wouldn't want to go find Tramp!"
Shaking her head again, the breezie repeated, "Not Tramp!" She was silent for a moment and seemed to be done talking, but decided she wanted to clarify in case her Rogue was confused again, and piped up again with obvious distaste, "Tramp was that big, mean stallion that always made you leave!"

The purple mare giggled at how the breezie shook her head. She thought it was rather cute. Angel looked at her sweet Rogue and smiled.

Rogue let out an exasperated sigh and let his head droop down, his ears flopping. It was hopeless. Hopeless! After a moment of taking his time to try and gather himself again, he lifted his head up and looked at Poppy with what was meant as a threatening expression.
"See here," he said and pawed the ground with his hoof a few times. "You're really confused us there. I'm the mean one. See?" He arched his neck and flared his nostrils and puffed air out and pawed the ground and pointed his horn at the little creature.

Poppy clapped her hooves happily again, let out a little giggle, and flitted over to Rogue's forelock again, clopping her front hooves across his horn on the way. "My silly Rogue! And don't you worry any more - your brother's not here now, so you don't have to act all tough. And best of all, now I can stay with you as long as I want!"
She trotted down his neck, then took off again to hover right between his eyes. "Oh, this will be so wonderful!"

Rogue's threatening pose dropped, like a balloon pierced and all air blow out. Not with too much imagination one could see a dark cloud forming over his head. It wasn't physically there, but he could feel it rise and fill the air. Rogue gritted his teeth. Oh Rainbows, would this never end?
"I don't act tough! I am tough! And STOP HUGGING AND TOUCHING MY HORN DANGIT!" He shook his head, but Poppy had already slid down on his back and then up on her wings again, and before he knew it she was there in front of him again. He bared his teeth. "I'll bite your wings off! Then we'll see how well you'll follow!" And he took a leap at the tiny creature.

Poppy looped to the side before coming back around and flying straight through Rogue's mane, unintentionally tugging a few strands of hair with her when she came out. She let out a small chirping laugh, and went higher into the air. "Oh, you can't reach me, Rogue!", she shouted down gleefully.

"Ouch! Arrrgh!" Rogue was at the end of his patience now, and shook his head furiously. Then he looked up and glared at the tiny creature.
"Oh, yeah?" He hunched closer to the ground and concentrated on his magic. A purple halo surrounded his horn and then him entirely, and he floated up into the air effortlessly. Oh, yes, he could fly all right - even if he had no wings. He increased speed and shot toward Poppy, his teeth bared again, going for her wings.

Poppy soared over Rogue's head, landing on his back again, her delicate wings still fluttering madly from the adrenaline rush. This was the most exciting game she'd played in a long time! It was so nice, finding her wonderful Rogue again. She had a feeling it was just like old times.
Laughing again, the breezie trotted up to his nose and hugged his muzzle as best she could. "Wow, I had almost forgotten that you could fly too! But it's better this way - now there are so many new things we can do together!"

Angel wasn't saying anything. She was too busy laughing at all that was going on.
She smiled to her Rogue. "Oh, Rogue. You really are tough!" She said with a wink.

Rogue had already forgotten how quick the little breezie could dart here and there and everywhere. She was there on top of his muzzle before he even realised what was going on. He stopped flying and remained floating in place, his feet beating the air furiously as though he was galloping even though he knew it made little difference. But he just had to do something with his hooves, else he was sure he would have exploded out of fury.
"We are not going to do anything together!" he exclaimed, shaking his head furiously. "Stop hugging me, d**nit!!! I'm not your friend. Go awaaaaaaay!"
He heard Angel's laughter from below and his expression grew even more frustrated. Great. Now she was laughing at him. The breezie had totally ruined his great effort at appearing strong and capable and, well, warrior-like. He shook his head once more, realised Poppy wasn't really about to let go of his muzzle, and sighed. Slowly he let himself drift down on the ground again.
"All right. All right. I get where this is going. I have to show Tramp to you. Then maybe you'll remember. Okay? We'll go and find Tramp." He looked at Angel with a bit of an apologetic smile. "You're welcome to come with me, of course. I have to get this breezie off me, and you might as well meet my brother."

"No! Not Tramp, not Tramp!" The breezie took off and flew in a little frantic circle around Rogue's head, then buzzed in dizzying loops around both of the large ponies.
The next thing she knew, Poppy was tangled in a mess of light purple. Paying no mind at first, she continued to plead with Rogue. "Why can't we just stay away from him? He's just a big, mean stallion - nothing like you!" She kept chattering and beating her wings at the same pace though she was steadily slowing down.
When the little pony came to a pause, she finally realized she couldn't see anything but the same shade of purple. Turning over in the air a few times and becoming hopelessly tangled, she finally twitched her antennas and managed to free her head. Peering out, Poppy realized that she was stuck in Mean Pegasus' long hair, and could no longer move. Glancing past the mare's ear to where she assumed Rogue was, the breezie finally stated, without much concern. "I'm stuck."

Angel then realized Poppy was in HER hair! She shook her head furiously. "Ugh, get out of my hair!" She said to the Silly Breezie.
She nodded to Rogue. "Ok."

Poppy let out a long, shrill scream as she was tossed back and forth, the sweeping motion greatly accentuated by her small size.
"My wings are caught! Oh, don't pull my wings out!", she squealed, fluttering around and getting more tangled. Tears welling up in her eyes once more as she was positive that she was in grave danger, she squirmed around uselessly. "Rogue, Mean Pegasus is hurting me! Help!"
The breezie, of course, was positive that her Rogue would come to her aid. After all, he was turning out to be every bit as wonderful as she'd remembered, and she could only assume that after being so glad to find her again, he would be very protective.
