(um, sorry? I didn't know you were so sensitive to the color orange O.o)
Sherbet didn't notice Silverfall's flinch, nor Razz's odd behaviour since she was playing with her ponies hair, so she looked up in awe when Silverfall said she knew magic.
"Orange magic? Does it make oranges?" She giggled, "I know that Kail has green magic and she heals, and Razzarroo," she stumbled over his name because it was so long to her, "had purple magic and it made him... um... I dont remember what that one was for." She squenched up her face in thought for a moment before turning to look at Razz.

(*holds up a string of garlic in front of Wig Wam and Party Time* Back, I say! Back!)
"Reading your mind," Razz said with an impish smile. He looked from Sherbert to Silverfall. "I can't really do it anymore, though. Except on rare occasions when I get a little of it back or with those who already have the gift. Like I can sense that they have it and it wakes up something inside me."
Silverfall nodded, though in truth she was no more certain of how Razz's "power" worked. All she knew was that he'd been touched by the rainbow's violet band and somehow it had left a mark on him. She knew how that felt. She felt herself drifting then, bringing up the memory of Set and the questions he had asked her about the dark rainbow and its powers, in particular the fiery band known as Glayse. Looking at Razz made her feel guilty, so she looked away.
Fluttershy came in then, walking between them. She placed a cup of tea down for Silverfall on a small table. Then she took a seat at the table near Razz.
"So, Silverfall," Fluttershy began, "I've heard Razz talk a great deal about you. Says you've been all over the world in your day."
Silverfall flicked an ear. "Yes." She sipped her tea.
Fluttershy wrinkled her nose, having expected more.

"Wow, where have you been?" Sherbet scootched a little closer to the silver mare, kids had a habit of asking questions that probably shouldn't be.
She ignored Fluttershy for the most part, the mare had never been altogether too interesting to the little Explosion.

Silverfall felt somewhat warmed by the foal's curiosity.
"Well, I've been far beyond the Lavender Mountains and the Greener-Than-Green Meadow, following the Rainbow River to all sorts of adventures. To places I once thought existed only in chinchilla tales. I've been as far north as the lands of snow and as far south as the sea. I've seen the Valley of Dreams and the Valley of the Sunstone and the Black Mountain with its majestic waterfall. I've been to places where the wind always blows and where only the moon and stars shine all day long and where crystals grow as large as trees and the grassy plains reach on for miles into the wandering open."
"My, I guess one could say you do get around," Fluttershy said.
Silverfall said nothing, but held Fluttershy's gaze long enough to make her look away.
Feeling flushed, Fluttershy said, "I-I'm stepping out for a moment."

Sherbet's eyes lit up - she had never even heard of most of those places! Silverfall had travelled more than Kail! And she knew all sorts of different colors of magic. Silverfall was officially Sherbet's new idol. The little one scootched up right next to her and looked up at her with awe and a large smile.
"Im gonna go there one day, and Im gonna learn all sorts of magical colors! I will be just like you."

The silver mare held her smile, but in the back of her mind felt a terrible rush of discomfort. Would the child wish for this if she knew Silverfall as she knew herself?
"No, child," Silverfall said softly, almost motherly and yet encouraging. "Be yourself, for that is who you will find when you make such a life's journey as I have. And knowing the truth of who you are are deep inside is vital to the mastery of magic in any color."
Razz wrinkled his nose. He didn't think it was wise encouraging young fillies to go wandering off in search of magic valleys and waterfalls and crystals the size of trees, but then Silverfall would never put a child in harms way. He knew that.

Gumdrop held back a little as Sherbert moved closer to Silverfall. She felt rather shy to be around such a special pony. However, the kitten, rather irritated by Gumdrop's absence of stroking, curled herself around Silverfall's feet.
Crystal yawned and she rubbed her eyes. She listened to Silverfall's tales, then an incredible idea sprang to mind. Crystal jumped out of he seat, and raced over to the mare. "You - haven't seen my cousin have you?" She pleaded. "She's a white pegasus with light blue hair. She -" She stopped because she was too exhausted to explain her long history. "Her name's Delta..." After saying all she could muster, she flopped onto the floor. Maybe she should have slept that night...

Silverfall nuzzled the kitten, glad Bandit was not there now or he'd be jealous. She was a but surprised by Crystal's outburst. Certainly she had seen any number of pegasi in her life, though only one fit the description that came to her mind.
"I'm sorry," she said. "I'm not sure. I did see a mare that sounds similar at the Black Dragon Inn." She had been somewhat preoccupied at the time to remember the mare's name.
(And what a fine time for my mouse to die. *pat, pat*)

"Be yourself," Sherbet repeated to herself. Well who else would she be? This Silverfall was funny, and Sherbet started to laugh until she fell over onto her Tropical Magic pillow buddy. (aww, sorry to hear about your mouse )

(It's a miracle...it came back to life. *eyes mouse suspiciously*)
"So what are you plans for the evening Razz?" Silverfall asked.
"I'm hanging out with Kail." His face was just a little too bright at the mention of her name.
"You seem pretty excited about it," she teased.
"The festival should be great! And Kail's a good friend." There was a smile in the corner of his mouth threatening to jump out. "Y-you should come with us, too." He always felt a little more bold when Silverfall was around.
In her thoughts, Silverfall agreed it might be best to keep an eye on things... lest there be trouble with Set and the other gods walking about. She then remembered the bargain she had made and sighed deeply, torn by it.

(from Ponyville board)
Just as Sherbet got herself under control and stopped laughing, Kail walked through the door, not really grinning, but a small, knowing smile on her face. She tried to pointedly not look at Razz, cause she was afraid she would start blushing and said a quick hello to everyone before getting back to the cookies in the kitchen.
(woah, creepy mouse)

Silverfall caught Razz giving Kail a sideways glance.
"Razz, perhaps you'd be so kind as to get me a cookie?" she asked.
"Oh, sure," Razz jumped up off the chair. He walked into the kitchen. "Can we have some cookies?"

Kail gave Razz a bright smile, "of course you can!" She probably said it overly loud and cheery, but she didn't mind. She put a half dozen or so on a small plate and handed them over, "you can be my official taste-tester," she asid with a grin.

Razzaroo sniffed the plate.
"What kind are they? They smell good."

Kail looked around the counter where the differnt kinds were placed (someone must have continued making them while she was on her walk).
"Looks like, Chocholate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, No-Bakes, and Butterscotch Chip."
She picked up one of the Butterscotch Chip and took a small bite before smiling, "these are my favorite. You should try one."
She had given him an arrangement of all four on his plate.
