((Twinkle Twirl isn't scary! XD))
The beautiful, non-scary mare smiled. "It's ok." She said calmly. "No need to worry, or be scared." She softly spoke, with a smile on her face.

Wing Song backed up a little and looked down at Mookie. "Hey - it's ok - this is Miss Twirl, and she's the dance instructor here."
Looking back up to speak with Twinkle, she said hastily, "He's just a little shy. I don't think he'll be able to participate, so would it be alright if I just set him up in a corner somewhere? I'm sure he'll be very good about entertaining himself - he's honestly a very nice, quiet little colt."
She put on the softer voice she found herself using for foals, unintentionally being a bit condescending in the process, and smiled nervously at Mookie again, who was still for the most part hiding under her. "Now Mookie, doesn't that sound fun? I'm sure I could set you up to...color, or something. Yes, I'm sure I have a pen and paper somewhere..."
She reached in her purse again and pulled them out, not thinking that crayons would probably be ideal for such a small foal, and set them at her feet for Mookie to take. "How's that? You like to color, don't you?" Wing Song hoped that he knew better than to draw on the walls and floor - she could very well be kicked out of the studio if the little guy got too enthusiastic about coloring.

The purple mare smiled and nodded to Wing Song.
She looked at the others and nodded to them. "Ok, everyone, we might as well start practicing while we wait for the others to get here." She explained, using an ordering tone with the dancers.

[[tee-hee no she isn't, but Mookie thinks all mares except Wing Song are scary right now. He'll get over it.]] Mookie blinked his large eyes at the dance instructor. Well, she was being nice to him, at least. Maybe she wasn't like that scary mare at the shop, where the roses had pricked him so. He wondered if he dared to come out from under Wing Song's belly now. When Wing Song spoke to him, he looked at her and carefully inched out from underneath her, taking a tight hold of one of her hooves though. The mention of colouring set his eyes alight. "Yes, yes," he nodded eagerly. "Colouring fun."

((ah, ok. ^-^))
The mare smiled at Mookie. "It'll be ok, you can color over in that corner, if you'd like." She said, pointing over to a nice, quiet corner, where the dancers wouldn't be getting in his way. "And if anyone is bothering you, you can let me or Wing Song know, ok?" She said sweetly to him.

Mookie looked at Twinkle Twirl very seriously whe she spoke, and when she said that if anyone bothered him, he could tell her or Wing Song, he assumed that - since Wing Lady had already told him that this was the dance instructor, which probably meant she was nice - it meant that she would protect him. He smiled happily to Twinkle Twirl.
"Okay!" he said with a wide smile. Then he suddenly winked out, in fact taking Wing Song with him.
He and Wing Song winked back in far over in the corner where he had been told to go, smiling eagerly to everyone, waiting to get the colouring equipment.

((Ooo, neat! XD))
The purple pony watched as the earthling winked out with Wing Song. She blinked her eyes, wondering how he did that......
She decided not to think much about it, and turned to the others. "Alright, everyone! Let's begin!" She ordered.

Wing Song nearly lost her balance when she found herself suddenly standing in a different place. Soon realizing that it had been Mookie's doing, she gazed wide-eyed down at the little foal. It made her a bit uneasy that he had seemed to become more and more comfortable with winking - what if one of these times he got lost again? He couldn't always hope to find someone that would take care of him.
"Uh, hey Mookie, why don't you go easy on the winking for a little while?" The princess frowned a bit when she noticed herself slipping back into her more natural and childish way of speaking again - it had always been a problem in the past, but seemed to be happening more often lately. Then she realized that he might have thought she was angry with him and, deciding to deal with the situation at hand first, added, "You don't want anyone else getting jealous, alright?"
She glanced up at Twinkle, feeling the need to respond to the mare's commanding tone. However, she also felt the need to make sure Mookie was doing alright before she went on with her lesson, so all she did was look back at her instructor guiltily before turning back to the colt. "Listen, Mookie, I'd like you to stay put, alright?" She scooted the pen and paper over to him. "You just color, and I'll be right over there. Will you be ok if I let you do that for a little while?"

Mookie's happy face dissolved when Wing Song told him to lay off winking for a while. The corners of his mouth drooped and he looked at her wide-eyed when she spoke. He didn't really understand everything she was saying, but did get that she wanted him to stay where he was. This made him a little sad. He hadn't realised that colouring meant he couldn't be with Wing Song. What if the nice lady disappeared somewhere, like his mother had? What if he never found her again?
His eyes began to well up as Wing Song pushed he pen and paper to him.
"Don't go Wing Lady," he said miserably and sat down, looking up at her. He didn't quite understand what Wing Song meant with "just over there". Maybe it was just another way of saying she was going to disappear?
Mookie hadn't yet really realised that his own winking was the reason for other people disappearing around him.

Twinkle watched as Wing Song was trying to comfort Mookie. She noticed Mookie begging Wing Song not to leave...
The mare walked over to them. "Hey, is everything alright?" She asked.

((Awwww, poor Mookie!))
Dance class was beginning to sound more and more like a bad idea every second. After all, Wing Song had a foal to take care of now.
When Twinkle walked over, the mare turned to her with a slight frown. "I'm sorry, Miss Twirl, this just really isn't working out."
She decided to try one more time and knelt on the floor next to Mookie. "Hey, Mookie, what if I promise to stay where you can see me?" She gestured to the studio over her shoulder, knowing that could safely refer to anywhere in the room. "Just right over there, like I said."

Mookie looked at the two mares who were now there with him. It made him feel better that they were there. He didn't want to be left alone. Everyone always left her. Momma hadn't come looking for him, like the way she always had. He had winked and winked but couldn't find her, and he didn't understand why she had left him like that. He wondered briefly if he should try winking again to find his Momma, but then he was afraid that Wing Lady would disappear in the meanwhile.
He bit his lip when Wing Song asked him if he'd be all right if she'd just stay in sight. What did that mean? He wasn't sure if he understood, the whole thing was so confusing. He winked to find people, but then they always disappeared, like they were running away from him.
"Wing Lady disappear," he said stubbornly, one hoof stomping to the ground slightly. "I know will disappear. Don't go."

The purple mare nodded to Wing Song. "Well, if it isn't working out, then maybe you and Mookie can spend some more time together. I completely understand if you want to skip practice today." She said nicely. She hoped that Mookie would be alright. It sounded as if Mookie didn't want Wing Song to ever leave him. Twinkle found that rather sweet. It seemed as if Wing Song were his mother, but Twinkle knew that she wasn't.
She turned to Myst and Flame. "Ok, you two, just because Wing Song isn't practicing, doesn't mean you two can lie around, either. Now, let's get started!" She said to them.

What Twinkle Twirl said sent Flame into the running/dancing blur the ponies had witnessed when he first entered the room. Myst seemed uncertain, she really didn't know much about dancing.

The purple mare sighed as she looked at Flame, although he was kind of cute, dancing around like that. It made the mare giggle.
"Myst, can you tell him to stop, please?" She asked. "I'm afraid he's going to bump into someone."
