Walking through the door of the cafe, Tristan slowly took in his surroundings. He had only been in Ponyville for a year- in which time he rarely visited populated areas. It was his first time in the cafe, and his black coat stood out like a sore thumb among the bright colors.
Passing a few of the cafe's customers, he took it upon himself to find a spot farthest away from the others. It wasn't that he was uncomfortable. It was that he didn't have anything to say to them.
Blue and green eyes surveyed the cafe. He didn't have a clue as to what he wanted.

::Entering the cafe quietly, Willow sat down gracefully next to the stallion.:: "Oh...um.. hi!" Willow said to the stallion, as she pulled off her bag from across her shoulder.

Clear eyes silently watched the cream colored mare. He had never talked to Willow, and yet he knew who she was.
"Hello." Nodding once in greeting, he slowly turned his attention else where. It wasn't his style to stare.

Drummer walked up to the dark stallion.
"Can I get you anything?" he asked. He had never seen this dark pony before. He was like no other pony Drummer had ever seen. Piercings were a rarity in Ponyville and a black stallion was even rarer. "We've got 2 tarts for the price of one today if you're interested." he said, pen in hoof, ready to take the quiet stranger's order.

"Sure I'll take the tart dealy thingy" Willow said to Drummer hoping she could give one to Tristan . Willow could never eat that much. One was definately enough!! " I heard the tarts here are really good- never had one though."

Changing his glance from Willow to Drummer, a smirk played across his mouth. He knew his appearance was odd for the town, but it didn't bother him.
"Actually..." He tilted his head. "I'll just have a cup of coffee, thanks."
The smirk stayed, but his expression changed to a much more approachable one.

After he left the spa, a quiet rumble in his stomach reminded Dash that he hadn't eaten since the night before. Deciding that his first stop should be the Cotton Candy Cafe before opening the shop for the day, he pointed his muzzle in that direction.
He entered the cheerful cafe with a jaunty swish of his tri-colored tail and his gaze immediately lit upon the black stallion sitting at the back. Ooo, jewelry! said the business-oriented part of his mind. He smirked inwardly. He had seen the stallion around the city before...though he seemed to keep to himself. Dash knew he had never set a hoof in the cafe before today.
Hopping up onto a stool nearby, he settled in to watch what would happen as the outgoing, bubbly---and brightly colored---cafe regulars reacted to the new, admittedly mysterious pony in their midst.

Tristan raised an eyebrow as a new customer entered the cafe. He recognized him as the owner of the local jewelry store. Several times before, he had wanted to purchase a few items from the store, but something would always hold him back.
He was flat our staring at the stallion. Mentally rolling his eyes at himself, he leaned back in his chair. A pierced ear flicked back. The silver hoops gently clinked together from the sudden motion.
Deep blue and green eyes trailed over to Willow, finally landing on the table. He needed to get out more often.

::Willow pulled the lolly pop out of her wrapper and popped it in her mouth. It was delicious. Seeing rainbow dash sit down close, and knowing he has a thing for jewelry, Willow asked Tristan " So Where did you get your piercings done?" she said this with a wiggle of her ear which was indeed pierced and had a diamond stud in it. Willow giggled::

"Alright, one coffee coming up." Drummer said and he trotted back to the kitchen and reappered quickly with a hot cup of black coffee and a few creamers. He placed them on the table with a smile. He glanced up at the black stallion.
"Are you new in town? I haven't seen you around." he asked, casually.

Dash sensed bi-colored eyes on him and turned to meet the stallion's gaze, but he had already turned away. I do believe he was staring at me, Dash thought with an internal chuckle.
He pricked his ears at Willow's question; he had been wondering the same thing.

Glancing back up at Willow, the corner of his mouth twitched. He knew the question was going to be asked one of these days.
"An old friend of mine." It was a simple statement said with a glance towards the owner of the jewelry store. "I tend to get a few more, actually."
His attention was brought back to Drummer as the stallion set his coffee down on the table. He wasn't used to people asking him things.
"I moved here about a year ago, oddly enough." He looked up at Drummer and smiled.

Dash flicked his ears and grinned at Tristan's statement. "I guess you know who I am, then?" he asked with a soft chuckle. Odd, he thought. Wonder why he's never come in to the shop, then?
Then, sensing Willow's eyes on him, he gave her a little smile.
