Sweet Berry stepped into the cafe, alone, but very hungry. She sat on a stool, and waited for someone to come and serve her.

(con. from the Wysteria sketching post)
Wysteria approached Sweetberry and hopped up on the stoll to her left. "Good morning, it's so good to see you Sweetberry!," she said sweetly and less confined by her shyness," How long has it been?"

Before Wysteria even heard Sweetberry's reply, she noticed the white mare walk in. Willow, she recalled was her name, and the last she'd seen of her was when she'd sewn up her chest. "Uh, sorry to do this, but I need to check on something. Sorry," she said again, and headed over towards white mare.

Sweet Berry was surprised at Wysteria. She chuckled to herself. "She's not usually in that much of a hurry..." She said to herself. She felt like a milkshake. Was someone going to come take her order?

(OOC: Sorry about that ^_^(). Wysteria had a past encouter that led her to need to see Willow. She should be back soon. And Sweetberry should just have a random, generic, no description type waitress take your order. Or else it'll take you a while to actually have someone do it. I um, hope it was ok if I said that ^_^())

(Thanx, so Sweet Berry will be seeing Wysteria soon!) "I'll have a chocolate milkshake." Sweet Berry said to the waitress that came up to her. She licked her lips and giggled.

(con. from *trots in*)
Wysteria came on back, resuming a seat next to the mulberry colored pony. "Sorry bout that. I really had to check up on that pony. She was injured real bad in the battle, but she seems to be good now.," she apologized again," Now, what's been going on with you?"

"Oh!" Sweet Berry gasped. "I hope she's alright." She said, peering over to where she was standing last. "Nothing much has happened since the battle." She replied. (I think. I don't know what Sweet Berry did before I got her. ) As the waitress handed her a milkshake, she asked Wysteria the same question. "So, how about you?"

(ooc: As far as I know, Sweetberry originally was Mayor Pinkie Pie's secratery. But I'd never seen the original Sweetberry post, and I just know the secratery thing from a Pinkie Pie post way back then.)
"Well, nothing's happened in terms of excitement since the battle. I've been working on several art commissions, trying to save some extra money for the holidays.," she said truthfully, and patting her tot bag with art supplies," And my apartment room finally got repaired from that fire. I've been working on a new portfolio too to replace the one the fire ruined."

((Okies, thanx))
"Well that's good." She said about Wysteria's remark on her apartment. Going off the subject, she sighed. "I wish I could draw. It must be fun." She sipped her milkshake. " Do you think you could show me how?"

"Well, I suppose I could give you a quick crash course. However you really need to practice to develop a lot of the skills.," she said fumbling for her sketch book. Wysteria flipped through until she reached a blank page, than with pencil in hoof, she began to teach.
"The first thing you need to remember is have fun. If you're not having fun, you won't like what you're doing. Second thing, draw something you like. Subject matter makes a big difference. If what you're drawing doesn't intrest you, chances are you won't like what you'll draw.," she said, taking a napkin and crumpling it, then setting it down on the counter. She began to makes several gestures on the paper whilst watching the crumpled paper.
"Watch what you're drawing. I mean, really, really look at it. Try to draw exactly what you see. Drawing is the replication of life. See these little bumps on the napkin that are imprinted to help absorb liquids? Draw even those!," she began to put a little shading on the paper to show what she meant. "There's a lot to think about when learning to draw, but those are technically the basics. I don't want to really go over your head with this. Also, keep in mind not to be discouraged and to ignore negative comments.," she finished looking at Sweetberry.

Trying to keep this all in her head, she grabbed another napkin and took one of Wysteria's pencils. She drew and drew, but her sketch turned out to look something like a rather angry cow; She had made the napkin misshaped, and drawn the bumps to large. "Um...I like it! What do you think? A work of art!" She said giggling.

"Well it certainly has its own touch of your special style," the purple mare encouraged. It was very cute, she noted to herself, and very good considering she was first starting out. She knew Sweetberry would have to build a lto of confidence with her pieces before being able to recieve constructive critisism. Sweetberry should be happy she isn't taking college corses for this. I'm sure she'd be discouraged easily under the wings of the college professors, literally. They can be some of the meanest jerks around involved in art.

Sweet Berry smiled at her work before screwing it up. "Something tells me I don't have the gift of drawing." She grinned. "Or maybe its just me." She said sarcastically with a giggle. "Oh well, maybe my talent lies elsewhere."

"Try not to think of drawing as a natural talent. Think of it as a skill. It takes hard work and lots of time to be able to learn the skill. Keep in mind that drawing is the basis of almost every form of art. So once you learn the skill, you can have a much wider range and an easier time exploring new aspects of art," Wysteria continued to spew out her artistic wisdom.
