Binnacle looked forlornly at the partial castle. Still, something in the crumbling remains filled his satisfaction. He half turned to see if Spooky was following behind him. The light blue stallion was almost startled when he noticed the two others present. They didn't look the most friendly people around, so he kept a rather low profile.

Spookytale crowded behind Binnacle and watched the two ponies go. They didn't seem like the usual castle visitors, they were too...haughty. Usually ponies were there to work, or there to remember what had happened.
Spooky leaned into Binnacle's ear, feeling unusually, well, spooked. "Do you want to come back tomorrow morning before the Festival gets into full swing?" she whispered nervously.

Yama jerked his head around sharply and spotted the two ponies. He smirked and sidled over. "Why, hello. What do we have here? And so early in the morning..."
(I'm asuming its morning. O.o )

(I don't know anymore. ) Spookytale tensed up, her ears plastered back against her head, breath misting out in short white pops. Ordinarily worried about meeting new faces, something about the new pony's manner made her want to head butt him and run around screaming. "We were...just about to go the other direction..." Spooky backed up helf a step, her tail nervously swishing.

"Uh, hi," Binnacle greeted the stallion, somewhat reluctantly. This particular pony reminded him of bitter cold and the way he smirked was not pleasant. "We were just on our way....I'd never seen the castle before and I wanted to catch a glimpse of it, or what's left of it." Binnacle was not reassured by Spooky's nervous behavior. He thought it best to just leave and come back another time. But these particular stallions didn't seem like the friendly type to just let commoners come and go...they seemed much higer and authorized.

Yama grinned very scarily, showing every one of his pearly white teeth.
"Continue... I have no business with you..." He drawled.

Eshu was watching the other with some curiosity, "Before you leave, have you given any offerings to the gods?" he was supposed to be a high priest here after all.

"The gods? Do you mean the Rainbow?" Binnacle was genuinely confused. Obviously these stallions weren't from around here. He wondered what gods they honored and worshipped where the two suspicious characters were from.

Yama shuddered. "The Rainbow... What a load of sh*t!" He yelled.

Spooky breathed a sigh of relief. These two were not threatening at all, probably driven insane by grief after the battle of rainbows.
"There there, it will be ok. Why don't go have some nice hot chocolate?"
Spooky smiled at Binnacle, then gently shouldred him in a new direction.
"C'mon, they have places to be. The other side of the castle casts really amazing shadows! Like shadow puppets, but obviously the castle doesn't have hands. Maybe big stone tentacles. Uhm..yeah. You know what I mean."
Spookytale started to trot off, leaving the two grieving and insane stallions to their business.

"Excuse me mamn! Please forgive my friend's behavior, but we are high priests to the gods Eshu and Yama. We do not believe in the Rainbow you speak of and he has become rather testy with such skeptism about." Eshu smiled in a friendly way.

( Naw, Yama is never nice. He is the god of death, plus those 5 immortals that are trapped in his locket piss him off badly... So he's a sour puss!)

((Eshu doesn't know that. Besides, he's playing salemen right now, shhh, you might ruin his concentration. ))

"oh yes, of course you're high priests. With your funny hats and super flying powers. There there there, it will all be ok"
This was turning out to be an interesting story. Spookytale half-wondered if one of them would sprout snakes out of his head and start foaming at the mouth. Now THAT would be a good plot device. Poor poor delusional grief stricken foul mouthed insane ponies. Wars involving dark rainbows had that effect, sometimes.

Binnacle gave a small smile. "You guys must be from out of town....everyone here worships the Rainbow. Well, I'm not going to force anything onto you- you don't have to worship who we do." He followed after Spooky, unaware of what was wrong with those weirdos. High priest...of course, I should have known, Binnacle thought sarcastically to himself.
