Ocasta was strangely surprised by the gesture, though his face did not show it. It felt conforting, for a strange reason, to know that not all the ponies in two were anti-god and judgemental; then again, it wasn't like she knew who he really was.
He kept his smile; he was obviously in a pleasant lets-not-cause-trouble-mood today.
"Bella?" Ocasta repeated. "That's a very sweet name."

"Yeah..." Swirl murmured in agreement. Bella...was this cute little pony related to Kail somehow?
This new unicorn, Ocasta, seemed to like children, and didn't seem like he was going to cause trouble. Should she invite him along, or let him wander on his own? Gumdrop would need a bath soon, puddle water wasn't the best thing in the world for keeping coats clean.
Idly she kicked a small broken branch near the path a short distance for the puppy to chase.
"Ocasta, where were you headed to?"

"I was going to the Cafe." He replied, and in a way he still wanted to, then again, he wasn't as keen as he was beforehand.
He needed a mage desperately, but he didn't want to convert Dreamer onto his side while there was a group of other ponies, with foals, there. Ocasta would rather speak with the alicorn alone, that way he wouldn't be distracted by others. He had a strong feeling, though, that the alicorn wasn't particularly doing anything...
"But it seems kind of busy in there." He continued.

Swirl tilted her head. "Oh, we just came from there, didn't we ladies? The large group should be clearing out soon. I hope that helps?"

Bella almost blushed as the stallion commented on her name but she did grin, rather delighted.
Her puppy wasn't silly when it came to chasing sticks, as soon as it was kicked the little browm dog was chasing after the small broken branch like a little foal would chase playfully after a butterfly.
The foal giggled at her puppy but then turned back to Ocasta and nodded her head to show she agreed with Swirl, "Yea, we sure did... lotsa ponies in there at tha moment."

(con't from Dash!)
Snowflake was on her way to the Cafe. She hoped Dazzle didn't mind that she'd left so abruptly. Maybe she should have waited there with them. No. That would only make her late for her shift waiting at the Cafe, which would start soon if she wasn’t mistaken.
The rain made her hair look smooth and extra shiny as if it were made out of glass. Her mane was resting over her left eye and she had to keep flicking her head to get it to stay to the side. Suddenly, she heard what sounded like a squeal of pain. She saw a small foal holding it’s leg and it was bleeding! With her natural instinct to help others kicking in, she rushed over toward her, moving around the puddles with grace.
She skidded to a halt when she saw three more rush over to her. Watching from afar she saw the grey one heal the foal’s injury into nothing! It was impossible! Snowflake wasn’t familiar with healers, so she could only assume that he was one of them. A god.
Oh no... What if Lian doesn’t want me talking with him? I should get out of here. She thought to herself trying not to panic. She was about to turn and leave but realized she’d been watching them for a minute or two. They’d probably seen her standing there. Now what? With a gulp, she decided to trot up slowly and calmly to them.
“Is she going to be okay?” She said looking at gumdrop. Her tail swished for a second and she looked up at Swirl. She had an unexplainable fear that she shouldn’t look Ocasta in the eye.

Swirl flashed the newcomer a relieved smile. "Yes, I think so. Looks like she'll get to keep the leg." Swirl grinned, noting how nice Snowflake's hair looked when wet. Her own hair had taken off into frizzy curlets, like little firecracker trails. At least someone was benefiting from this weather.
Then Swirl realized that Snowflake looked uneasy. Maybe she wasn't benefitting after all. "Hrm....is the weather bothering you? You work at the cafe, right? Snow...flake?" Swirl was naturally inclined to help out with problems when she saw them, and she thought that question seemed the least intrusive. She thought she recognized her, and she hoped she got her name marginally right- she did seem to be affilliated with snowflakes.

Ocasta smiled at them, a pleasant smile at that. "I'm glad to hear that. I don't particularly like large crowds sometimes."
Though his smile faded when the blule mare came around. He could smell fear coming from her; and she made it obvious that it was because of him since she dared not to look into his eyes. For some reason, this annoyed him, not greatly though, but it just did. But it was not like he was just going to leave for her benefit. She can squirm all she liked and anyway, he was there first.
His face did not show his thoughts; he left it as plain as a mask.
(( ^-^ I'm not saying you have to go or anything Stella, that's just Ocasta being a bit nasty and himself. *glares at Oca.*))

Gumdrop stared in awe at Snowflake... She is soooo beautiful! She thought to herself as she stood up and bounded over to the mare, eager to touch the streak of purple in her hair.

Bella smiled at the blue mare and watched as Gumdrop bounded towards her. Feeling a nudge on her back leg, Bella turned to see her puppy had returned with the stick Swirl had kicked. He dropped it at the foal's hooves and bounded once away with a bark. Bella kicked it as hard as she could but it didn't go as far as her puppy had hoped it would. Now he was right back at her feet with it, big round eyes asking her to kick it further.

Swirl shifted her weight uncomfortably. She still wasn't sure if Ocasta still wanted to go to the cafe or not, and for some reason Snowflake wouldn't look at him. Was she scared of strangers? Seemed unlikely for a waitress... but it could happen.
Swirl grinned at the adorably hyper puppy and picked up the stick. She gently handed it to Ocasta. "Here, everyone should get a chance to play fetch with puppies. Isn't that right Bella?"
She hoped it would ease some tension, and brighten his mood a little. He seemed happiest when interacting with the kids, and Swirl almost felt bad about interrupting that. Seeing as how one of them had gotten injured less then a minute away from supervision she was glad that she'd be able to keep an eye on them while going back to the nursery.

"Here, everyone should get a chance to play fetch with puppies. Isn't that right Bella?"
Snowflake tried to ease up and smiled armly at Swirl. "My best friend Butterscotch just got a dachsund puupy last winter." She said quietly. Now that she was here, she might as well try to make conversation.

Swirl grinned, thinking of how adorable and wiggly daschunds were. "Really? I love those weiner dogs - so cute!" She smiled down at the nameless puppy. "Of course all puppies are really adorable. And kittens." She added the last part hastily, still unsure to how the kitten liked it's new perch on her back.
She guessed Snowflake didn't want to talk about specific things that might be bothering her, just things in general. "So...where are you headed?"

"Yesh! Every pony should play with puppies cos they are so cute and fun!" She patted her puppy a couple of times and grinned as she and her puppy waited for Ocasta to throw the stick.
She now turned to Snowflake and added, "I gots my puppy for the fes..." She wasn't sure how to properly say the word but continued anyway, "fes-ti-val! But he don't have a name yet..." She frowned. Bella wasn't too good at thinking of names but she figured if she didn't think of one soon the little brown dog would end up being called, very plainy, 'puppy'.

Gumdrop shivered. She wished she had her purple scarf. It was cold, even though it was summer.
