(Night -- Following the night of Razz's fire.)
Notepad and Petunia walked along the rainbow brick path of the main road as they returned from their long day reviewing claims from the previous storm damage. They entered the square.
"That's why we always fill out at least 3 copies," Notepad was saying.
"Oh, I see," Petunia said. "That does make a lot of sense."
(Waiting for Yama.)

((I hope that you don´t mind Star Dasher following, if you do, just ignore me...))
The purple earth youngster was wandering queitly in the footsteps of the couple, hidden by the darkness many foot away. She was´nt afraid, just because there was two of them ... the darkness of this evening could scare anyone. Dasher stopped and peered trough the night. Perhaps she should jump out of the shadows and steal whatever they could be holding. But why would they fear her? A thin, nineteen year old mare, who barely could get something to eat everyday? For a while she thought about seeking someone up. Someone who could learn her more skills ... or just a warm, loveable home? Loveable ... Star Dasher hardly knew what that word meant. "No," She said to herself, starting to walk again. What am I thinking about? I can make it! I have survived on the streets for ... for ... Dasher gave a sigh. For a long time now. I can handle this, all by my own! She lowered her head. ...All by my own... Sorrow filled the mare´s heart. She tried to shook it off, but all feelings reminded her of what happened after leaving the nursery were she grew up. She never got anyone who really cared about her. She saw mares and stallions come and go, but none ever picked her. Most of the time she sat by herself in a corner, drawing ... drawing was once a big part of her life. She remembered the feeling of holding a pencil ... it was not very often by now she got her hooves on paper and pencil. Then ... then came the horrible night. The night when she left 'Baby Star Dasher' at her back. "Nobody loves me besides of you", the filly said. The moonlight was shimmering on the quilt on her bed, and the soft teddybear sat in the corner of it, looking back with sad eyes. "Oh, Teddy ... no, I must do this myself. You must´nt follow!" The purple foal leaned towards the stuffed animal and gave it a hard hug. "You must take care of the other children. Those who have´nt given up their hopes yet". Star looked around the room with sleeping ponies. "And they got no reason to," cried the youngster. "B-be-because t-they s-s-sure will find someone who loves them, someday." Star Dasher looked at Teddy. "I-I am just a re-regular little pony. Nothing special. Thats w-what I am". The body of the baby pony was shaking. "A wo-worthless, r-regular earth-filly. Oh, Teddy!" She whispered. "I ... I am going to miss you so..." And so she climed out the window and disappeared into the dark streets.
The chilly evening made the now grown-up, young mare remember everything. She had always been living in the streets since then. In her desperete tries to get attention, she had kicked and bitten the other baby ponies, stolen their toys and lied to the nurses. But they did not believe her of course, when the other fillies bathed in tears. As an result, the other foals avoided her and called her things. The nurses did not really react when the saw Baby Dash in tears, and after a while, Star Dasher stopped caring. She sat there in her corner, drawing and drawing and drawing ... unloved, forgotten ... and the staff seemed to believe that she was happy. Life is unfair, Star Dasher thought for herself. This was the best thing she could do about the situation. She kept walking.
UNLOVED...

(Ok. Then she´ll run the fastest she ever can, and lay breathing hard on the nursery floor...)
Unloved. Unloved ... Star Dasher could feel the sorrow. So many thoughts ran trough her head. The nose nearly touched the ground were she walked forward. UNLOVED! Suddenly, she lifted her head from the ground and watched the moon rise. Something glittered in the corner of her eye. The moment after that, she tried to shook everything off, and stamped angirly on the path. She did´nt need anyone. None at all. She continued walk, thoughts about her childhood still filling her head.

A black figure formed behind the blue stallion. It's Hooves made no sound upon the ground whatsoever. This one will do... Yes... How to do it though...
I will torture him first... Yes... Tear him apart... limb by limb...
No, that would disable the body. I will have to do it without spilling one drop of blood... d**nit...Yama was slightly angry at this but he knew he would be able to kill many more later on... His scowl widened into a terrible grin. Well... maybe I could kill the other as well... for fun.(Do you need Petunia for anything? )

(It's time. *evil laughter* ) Yes... The pink one first... yes... then the blue one... what i've been waiting for... for so long... time to kill... Yama's cloak dissapeared in an instant and he shook out his hair. I haven't tasted blood... for so long... He watched the two ponies like a beast watching it's prey. NOW!Yama sprinted towards the two ponies, and, almost cat-like, he leapt onto the pink one and sank his teeth, which were sharper than the average stallion's, into the helpless pony's neck. Sweet, warm blood rushed into Yama's mouth as he brang the the pony crashing to the ground. Yama leapt back up and tore the mare's flesh from her neck. He laughed like he had not laughed for years. "Blood! I can taste the sweet red water again!" He yelled to the sky joyfully as he reared up and came back down again on the ponies fore leg, crushing it to a bloody pulp.

(Sil said I could... ) Panic and terror seized the blue stallion's heart. One minute, he had been walking with Petunia, and the next.. her bloody corpse was staining Ponyville's streets with crimson. Eyes wide with fear, he backed up on shaky blue legs, mouth agape and fighting for words. He felt slightly dizzy and numb as he stared at Petunia's body. Notepad didn't know whether to run or to stay and fight his friend's murderer, perhaps avenge her death. And so there he stood, frozen in fear.

(Whee, this is fun.)
Petunia's lifeless body twitched underneath Yama's weight. The pony's blood formed little red rivers on the hard ground of the square.
Yama was grinning, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. he hadn't felt so alive in ages. A noise behind him brought him back to reality. he whipped his head around and saw Notepad. "Your turn..." He whispered as he stalked towards the stallion.

"Blood! I can taste the sweet red water again!" In the bushes stood Dasher, petrifided. She saw the pink mare´s blood color the road red. She saw it, but she did not want to belive it. Thousands of thoughts swirled through her head during a second. She was so scared - her brain felt like ice. But the stallion, who could have been trotting right out of a nightmare, did not seem to have noticed her. Thoughts like were he came from right out of nothing never crossed her mind. The purple youngster wanted to scream, but she could not move. Star Dasher´s eyes grew wide. Everything was flashing in front of her like random parts from a nightmare. She shivered hard when dark figure turned to the blue pony.

In the Darklands...
Somewhere in the deepest dark of the dungeon, the indigo mare had been taken to her final resting place. Her frozen body rested on an elevated pyre where no flame would ever touch her. The spirit of ice itself lived here like fire, licking around her body with spurts of blue and white, keeping her evercold.
Silverfall knew great evil was ever restless in the body of the indigo mare. Glayse was only one of the spirits seeking to regain its freedom from the icy prison.
Without hesitation, she approached the body. Its chill sang outward, touching her fur and causing small ice crystals to form on her muzzle as she tilted her horn. Dark words left her lips, soaked in her desperation. A faint orange light began to glow beneath the surface of the icy casing and was pierced when Silverfall struck forward with her horn, catching it, and withdrawing it.
Slowly, she pulled Glayse's essense from the body of the icy mare and shook it free. The puncture hole sealed quickly, keeping the other spirits trapped inside. The orange band of the dark rainbow sputtered around the room, regaining its sense of self. Then it drew up its height, pausing before the silver mare, and fluttered away out of the dungeon and into the dark of night.
Alone, Silverfall sank to the dungeon floor as bitterness overcame her. Her daughter was saved, at least. This was the only comfort she felt, but it was barely enough to keep her lungs from quitting out of spite. She fell into repose.
