Wing Song followed Tramp, very much hoping that Mookie would be waiting for them at the park. But how did he get away in the first place?((Then she fell off a cliff. Well, whaddaya know - what a coincedence! It looks like she's done for unless she happens to freeze in midair! *hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge* ))

[[eh... sorry if I appear slow, but did you mean she fell off the cliff just now or is she going to be doing that later?]]

[[lol good]]
Tramp trotted into the park, looking around anxiously.
"Mookie!" he shouted. "Mookie! Where are you?"
He scouted for the little pony with his eyes. He hoped that he really was here somewhere, otherwise they would spend the remaining of the day looking for him.

"MOOKIE! MOOKIE!" Wing Song stood back to back with Tramp, looking around for signs of a little blob of blue. Oh, I should have paid more attention to him! This is all my fault!

Mookie found himself high in a tree, clinging onto a branch for dear life. He had never winked someplace so high before. He was surrounded by leaves and branches and could not see a thing. He was starting to panic when he heard his name called in the distance. "Moookkiiee!" "Here here here!" He tried to shout...but his little voice would barely reach the ground from here, yet alone the ponies looking for him. About a foot away from him was a birds nest...it was empty...no hope there...or maybe there was. He carefully grabbed it with his teeth and flung it to the ground...would the ponies think that was out of place? He sighed...probably not. He could try to wink again...but he was too scared. "help" he whispered. (your cliff idea was cute...how about a tree fall?"

((Thank you! Just what I needed! I am forever in your debt. *bows*)) Wing Song's ears pricked. Was that Mookie calling? But it was so faint - she was sure she'd imagined it. The princess strained her eyes into the distance, just in time to see a bird's nest fall from a tree. Couldn't be - it didn't make sense. Mookie's little legs couldn't get him up such a tall tree. But Wing Song was so desperate right now, she had to try. "Heyguysoverthere", she blurted out before running off as fast as she could towards the tree. Stopping at the base, the pink pony pulled up at the base of the tree. She couldn't see the top branches through all the leaves, but judging by the size of the gnarled old roots she was standing on, this was one big tree. Squinting up through the branches she felt her breath catch in her throat as she saw what she was looking for - a little patch of blue amongst the green and brown. "Mookie?", she called, pressing her front hooves against the trunk of the tree. And then, without waiting for a response, "Don't move - I'm coming up there." Then Wing Song carefully made her ascent, stepping lightly on the branches that had not seemed nearly as thin from the ground. ((I'm thinking she'll get Mookie down, like climb up to where she can pick him up, and then Medley could have caught up and she could pass him out through the branches to her. Medley could fly Mookie safely to the ground, and then... Wing Song: You wouldn't! ))

Seeing Mookie high up in the tree, Medley quickly flew up to him, not even noticing Wing Song's efforts to climb up. After she placed him safely on her back, Medley landed gracefully on the ground. She put him carefully on the ground and swiftly looked over him to see if he was all right. She looked at Mookie, then to her companions, and back at Mookie and said, "How in the the world did you get up there?" (Sorry, Wing Song, Medley could never bare to see someome get hurt when she was perfectly capable of doing it herself. And, besides, she has wings. *Wink, wink* Medley flutters her wings and smiles, attempting to look attractive.)

((Kay - but she saved Mookie - Wing Song's still up there...)) Wing Song watched Medley rescue Mookie and heaved a sigh of relief. But she had only been one limb underneath at that point and now, without Mookie as motivation, had to admit that the height made her nervous. And now she was a bit at a loss as far as how she was going to get down. Oh brilliant. I'm stuck. The mare started trying to scoot along the branch, avoiding looking down. "Uh, guys? I'm kind of - " Wing Song didn't get a chance to finish because at that moment the princess tripped over a lock of her extra long blonde hair and felt herself slip off the branch she was perched on before she could even scream and, plummeted to the ground. ((Okay - that was fun! Breezie: Great - first I go off a rooftop, now Wing Song out of a tree. I'd better go down to the salon and warn Amber to stay away from any windows above the ground floor. ))

Tramp followed as the girls located Mookie. Ah, well, he thought to himself. There went his hero act. He watched Wing Song start up the tree and then Medley fly up. He smiled a little as the pegasus brought the little foal down. He hadn't seen pegasus ponies very often, and had actually forgotten how graceful and beautiful they looked as they glided through the air like that.
Just when Medley had got Mookie safely to the ground, up in the tree Wing Song lost her foothold. Tramp froze for a second as he saw her plummet to the ground, and then knew at once what to do. He raced closer, and threw his spell at her, and then smiled contentedly.
Wing Song's fall froze in midair. One moment she was plummeting to the ground, the world blurring, and the next it was all very quiet, very still.
"Don't worry!" Tramp hollered up to Wing Song. "I'll get you down."
And he started to slow her descent rather than keep it stopped, so that slowly and soft as a feather, she fell to the ground.

It all happened so fast - at least, some of it did. One moment Wing Song saw felt a rush of wind and a blur of color clouded her vision, and the next she had stopped. But she hadn't hit the ground - she was still in midair. At first Wing Song felt a thrill and thought, Oh wow - this must be what it's like to fly!
But then she realized it was Tramps doing, and remembered exactly what his power was. The mare attempted to move a leg and confirmed that she was indeed immobilized - which neatly coincided with the fact that she was paralyzed with fear at the very thought.
"Don't worry! I'll get you down."
It crossed Wing Songs's mind that in fact it was all very sweet - him trying saving her like that. But even so she would have called out something like "don't bother - I'd rather if you dropped me" if not for her being unable to speak.
Wing Song felt herself touch down on the ground and unfreeze, and swayed a bit, although Tramp had effectivelt set her down with great care. "Thank you - very much", she said a bit shakily. She knew he had saved her from injury, if not a broken neck, and hoped she didn't look too pale.

Tramp smiled and took a few steps closer to her, nudging her from the neck encouragingly.
"You should be more careful," he said. "You can't fly, you know." Then he examined her more closely. "Did you get hurt?"

(( Tramp is so sweet! )) "Oh - uh no, I'm fine." Wing Song reminded herself that Tramp had just saved her from falling a considerable distance, and managed to flash a genuine smile towards him. " - thanks to you, that is."

Mookie was so glad to be found! The little green mare saved him. He nuzzled into her mane, and did not see the other nice lady fall.

As Mookie nuzzled her, all Medley could do was smile. She was happy he was safe. So happy, in fact, that she had forgotten that Wing Song was still up in the tree.
Medley breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Tramp save Wing Song. Although she was happy that her friend was safe, Medley could not help but feel guilty. She could have saved her; she was completely capable.
"I'm sorry, Wing Song," she said, looking down at the ground. She was so upset that her sapphire eyes were shining from tears.
