(cont. from the river)
The purple pegasus was in flight, flying just above the ground. A few tears welled up in her green eyes, but she was fighting them back. She put all her concentration on flying at that moment. She wasn't far from the river...
She kept flying, trying to get as far from the river as possible. She hated Poppy, and now she was debating on whether or not she hated Rogue. She felt a little silly, hating a stupid breezie that wasn't important, but she still hated that thing.
The pegasus was full of energy, flying in full speed. Anger gave her energy, and she was happy for it. Her long mane was flowing swiftly behind her. She didn't stop. Not for anything....

[[cont. from the river]]
A white speck with purple hair was gaining in on Angel, slowly but surely.
"Angel!" Rogue's voice called out from behind. "Wait! Where are you going?"

The pegasus stopped and landed. She turned around, noticing the familiar sound in the voice that had called after her. "Rogue!" She called. She thought he would stay with Poppy, since he was hers, now.
((sorry it's short, couldn't think of what else to put. >.<))

Rogue was happy to notice that Angel had stopped to wait for him. He smiled briefly, then put up a concerned face again as he landed close by, trotting the last few steps until stopping in front of her.
"Angel? What happened?" he asked, concern in his voice. "Did I do something?"

The pegasus shook her head. "No, you didn't do anything. It was me........." She said. "It was my fault that Poppy was being that way. But it doesn't matter now. You're hers, now." She said, a single tear rolling down her cheek.

Rogue got now very confused. He didn't understand at all, until he saw the tear. Then he realised that Angel seemed to have misunderstood what was going on. Well, then, this should be easy to fix. A kindly sort of a smile came over his lips and he stepped closer, his muzzle touching Angel's.
"Come now, my dear," he said. "You've got it all wrong. It's more like Poppy's mine." He smiled, an amused sort of a smile. "Think of her like a pet, doll-face. Tramp found her, you see, and she keeps getting confused about how things really went. I thought to keep her with me because she might be useful. But you can't really think that I would be interested in an itzy bitzy butterfly that way, can you? Especially over such a beautiful young thing like yourself?"

The pegasus wiped the tear and nodded, understanding Rogue. "I guess I understand, now." She nuzzled the stallion's neck. "But how would she be useful? She hates me!"

Rogue saw that he was succeeding in soothing her, and this made him dare to smile as he wrapped a hoof around Angel's shoulders, pulling her in for an embrace. He leaned in close and planted a kiss on her cheek. He really liked the way she smelled. He wondered if she used a perfume or if it was merely her shampoo. Whichever, he liked it. Mares always smelled so nice. He wondered how they did that.
He realised his mind was getting sidetracked and concentrated on recalling what Angel had said.
"I am a warrior, my dear, you must remember that," he said. "My job sometimes requires me to do all kinds of things... and in some cases, a small creature like that - a loyal creature - can be useful. For example, if I had to get something from somewhere, and the only way in there was a very small hole... well, I could send her to fetch that something. You see? She's like a... pet squirrel." He grinned a bit. "Just as annoying, I warrant you that, but potentially useful. Don't let her get to you, Angel. You know you're the one for me."

((Awww! ^-^ *squeezes Rogue*))
The purple mare buried her muzzle into Rogue's neck, gently, understanding what Rogue was trying to say. She then realized that Rogue really did still love her, and when he said that she was the one for him, she moved her head to look at him, and kissed his lips.

Rogue wrapped his hooves tighter around Angel when the mare kissed him. He enjoyed the kiss to the fullest. She was actually a fairly good kisser, he liked that. He reciprocated the kiss, and more, moving his lips passionately. Let it not be said that Rogue could not sweep a mare right off her feet.
After the kiss Rogue looked at Angel with an affectionate smile, as though she was the only mare he had ever laid eyes upon.
"Let me walk you to your home," he said. He wanted to know where she lived.

The pegasus smiled back at Rogue, she noticed how handsome he was, his white fur was gleaming in the sunlight. The mare felt her spirit being lifted, she was feeling better now.
Angel nodded. "Sure thing. My home is at the Celebration castle, I have a room there." She replied.

Wing Song charged down the streets, quickly switching from concern to panic as she asked one pony after another if they had seen Mookie anywhere. What if he had winked again? He could be gone - miles away, where she could never hope to find him. Again and again, she thought back to her last glimpse of him - bolting out the door to the dance studio. Had he been heading right, or left? Straight, it seemed, but that didn't mean anything - she only hoped that he had kept to running.
Passing another two ponies, the mare slid slightly on the cobblestones as she came to a stop. Panting, she asked haltingly, "Excuse me - have you - happened to - see a little - blue foal?" She caught her breath and looked more closely at the ponies, surprised to see a familiar face.
"Rogue?" Wing Song found herself blushing and instinctively tried to straighten her mane - a lost cause, since all the running had caused the majority of her long blond hair to come loose again from the neat bun she'd had it in a matter of minutes ago. Distracted by this and her haste to find Mookie, she didn't notice how close the couple was standing.

The purple mare raised a brow at the other mare. "Uh, no, sorry." She said.
She turned her gaze back to Rogue. "Sweetie, you were going to walk me home?" She asked with a smile.

The mare's ears lowered a little and she stared at Angel, then back at Rogue, clearly puzzled. She was now settled back on her heels, no longer preparing to spring back into a run.
"O-oh...I'm sorry...and you are?" Although Wing Song had directed her question toward the pegasus, her eyes only flickered over Angel for a second before they wandered back over to Rogue.

"Rogue?"
Rogue had been just about to start walking, when he heard a familiar voice. It said something about a foal, which he wasn't at all interested in, and then it said his name. He blinked and looked at the pony that had suddenly appeared. He felt a pang. Oh, darn. It was Wing Song. He remembered this mare all very well. She was one of those pretty mares Tramp had brought with him that one time, a few days ago, he surmised.
Of all the moments... he thought to himself, but quickly mustered a smile instead of the slightly caught look that had spread over his face for a few moments. He smiled to Wing Song cheerfully, with a face of "happy to see you again".
"Oh hello," he said. "This indeed seems to be a day of old acquaintances popping up!" He turned to look at Angel and smiled to her in his usual winning way. "Just a moment, my dear, I know this mare, I must make your acquaintance. Angel, this is Wing Song, I met her earlier through my brother Tramp. She recently adopted a foal, I met him too, a cute little rapscallion." He looked at Wing Song again, smiling, still the charmer he always was. "Wing Song, this is Angel. What do I hear, did you loose the little foal? What was his name again? Moby? Moonie?"
He felt no awkwardness in the situation as soon as he got to talking.
