Yama, not unlike Brigid, hardly felt the blow, but it was because of the anger coursing through his body. He had to restrain himself from using his killing powers though, that would leave him drained for days... After all, he only had one mage. But once he had more... he would treat himself to a killing spree.
The God could not defy the law of physics though, and he flew back a few feet when he was hit. He got back to his feet and snarled; Which seemed hardly normal for a god. he made his sieve dissapear, and he ran around the goddess quickly, stopping at her side to kick out his back legs and throw her sideways.

Brigid was not quick enough in retraction from Yama's quick kick. With one swift motion, the goddess found herself hurtling towards the muddy ground. Flinging her weapon aside, the unicorn stumbled in all attempts to steady her equilibrium. But the sharp aching in her shoulder now starting to grow, Brigid found that she was almost handicapped in her movements. A mukish sound followed as she landed in the mud, but her mistake had not been entirely bad for an opportunity to strike with her natural defense.
One strong, bucking swing of her neck brought her long horn slashing across Yama's side. Not deep enough to cause damage to any eternal organs, but just enough to expose torn muscle and flesh. Grunting and kicking, the dirty beige mare forced herself up, prepared to use the horn again, her sword forgotten.
(Does Yama have any abilities enabling him to lift things with his mind? Perhaps a surprise attack from behind with her own sword would give you the upper hand.)

(Nope, I don't believe he does. =< )
Yama snorted in pain as blood stained his midnight black coat even darker, if possible. He reared up and smashed the ground with his hooves angrily. It hurt to move, but he didn't care.
He stepped a few steps back and charged at her, but before hitting her he jumped over the goddess. He almost hit her horn but he cleared it; But his landing was less graceful. He hit the ground on his side with his wound. Yama pulled himself up quickly though, then made a lunge for Brigids sword, and the threw it at her back.

The actions played so fast for Brigid, she could not avoid what had just happened. Too concerned was she for getting her legs steady from her past fall was she to even realize the mistake she'd just made. Her mind screamed out orders to lunge around for her discarded weapon, but it was far too late. Before the beige unicorn could thrust herself around for the heavy broad sword was it thrown at her. A split second later and the blade sunk into her hip, a tidal wave of fresh red sludge seeped from it. The momentum sent the goddess flying back into the ground, sliding a mere ways in the slick mud. The purple mare screamed at the sight of such a gargantuan weapon embedded in the lower end of the goddess' body. Wysteria's mind whirled in confusion and fear, part of her screaming to run, part of her wanting to tend to the wounds of the other. Finally she pushed herself to her hooves, galloping off once again, screaming for help. "No...! NO!," Brigid bellowed out as her potential mage rushed from her line of vision, and as a harsh blow to her pride struck her. She reached back over herself, gripping the weapon and yanking it out of her side, releasing an obscene sound of anguish. Blood poured out in a faster manor than prior, and a terrible aching began to seep down her leg and up her back. Clenching her teeth and her weapon once again, Brigid tried to regain her footing, but clearly no weight could be placed on back her right leg. Awkwardly she stood, knowing deep down now that this was a fight she could clearly not win. Now this was a battle to stall time for the mare's safety. "You will not have her.," her voice rang in a seethingly low volume, one controlled by bitterness. (*chants with Mortal Combat voice* Finish her! lol, take her down ^_~ just enough to leave her incompasitate her. If Inti shows up here, it'll just be to retrieve Brigid )

Yama laughed bitterly at her. He had forgotten about the pain in his shoulder; He was winning, what else mattered? He made to stop his mage from getting away but decided to finish off the goddess first.
Yama reared into the air again, and charged into Brigid, slamming the side of her body with his shoulder, the on without the wound. He did this several times, then turned around and kicked out backwards, like he did before, and beating Brigid once and for all.

Without so much as an attempt to defend herself, Brigid took the blows dealt to her. As a warrior herself, she knew that she very well deserved it as she picked the fight to begin with. Bitter thoughts welled up in her, as her mind dislodged from the beating her body was feeling.
Bruised, tattered, and worn did the goddess finally fall to the ground at the attack of Yama. Stiffly, she tried to push her trembling body to her hooves once more before falling back down leaving consciousness. The celtic goddess had lost.

The God of Death And Darkness had won. He galloped about joyfully for a moment before stopping at Brigid's rigid (Hey that rhymes!! ...Okay I'll stop) body.
"Are you stupid?" He whispered to her. "I am Yama. I am the God of Death and Darkness. I am a Dark God. Your chances of beating me were slim to nil. I could kill you right now if I wanted to." He added smugly. "But you are a goddess. And you would most probably live on, you filthy immortal." He shuddered.
Yama continued to circle the unicorn. It was hard to tell if she could actually hear him on not, but he went on: "We Dark Gods are far more powerful than you pathetic Light Gods." He said the name bitterly. "And soon I will have so many mages, that I will come along and kill you for good. I've always wanted to know what it would be like to take the life of an immortal. And soon I will know."
The Dark stallion grinned. "The Purple mare is mine. How dare you come along and try to steal her out of my clutches. I know what she wants. She wants to see her little unicorn friend. There's nothing you can do to take her away from me, it is what she wants most in the world..." (Well I assume it is. O.o )
Yama turned around and kicked dirt in the beige unicorn's face. "You should learn to pick your fights, beause that was a mistake."
(yeah... I don't actually think that yama is like the strongest god or anything, but he does. ^_~ I'm not being up myself or anything.)

Inti galloped into the depths of the woods where it was dimmer and the heaviness of the rain didn’t help at all. He arrived on the scene, skidding to a halt. The soil had turned to mud from the rain and it splashed onto his legs as he stopped. He looked at each being individually for a second each, his head darting from person to person with his jaw hanging down slightly.
A dark stallion was circling around someone and kicking dirt in her face. As his body moved her saw the mare. Her body was stained from the dark, thick blood that was gushing out of her leg. She was collapsed and looked nearly dead. It was clear what was happening but still Inti could not believe this was happening to her of all goddesses.
Brigid! His mind screamed out, but he was too distraught to speak it out loud. In an instant rage rushed over the stallion like a tidal wave. His brown eyes burned like coals and his ears flattened. The fine hair on his back practically stood on end like a wolf closing in for the kill of its prey and his wrapped tail raised high like a flagpole. With a furious rear to start him off, into galloped strait for Yama, completely disregarding the consequences of his actions. With the force of an oncoming train, the god rammed Yama out of the harm f Brigid and reared again, only looking ten times more enraged as how he’d started out. Inti couldn’t control his actions at this point, it was like a side of him had taken over that he hadn’t realized in hundreds of years. A side he had forgotten he had, and it was called rage.

(lol, Yeah, Wysteria's pretty driven for SS right now, that could be easily considered as her desire in life)
The mental vocals of one familiar to her echoed in Brigid's mind. Her eyelids twitched a moment before opening quarter way. A blurred image of brighter colors against a darker coat established abstract images in her head; the sound of rain seemed distant, yet the goddess barely registered it still striking her body. Inti... Her eyes shut again, her mind slipping back to sleep.
----
Wysteria continued onward, stumbling randomly through the woods, clueless to her direction. After minutes her throat was dry, her body trembling from exertion, at a complete loss. Desperately she searched for a route she knew. If only Silver Shadow were with me...he knows the woods!

((sylph to the rescue! )) The pale gold sylph watched from the tops of the trees following the path of the purple mare, nibbling his fingers worriedly. His master had told him to keep an eye out on a number of ponies of the place he remembered, and one of them happened to be Wysteria. Why? Well, what would it mean to an elemental like him anyway. Yes, the sylph knew that Silver Shadow was here already, but the unicorn never said for him to return to his side when he was to return; he felt like he needed to still keep watch over Wystria. But now the mare was in trouble; the dark immortal wanted her for a battery and the mare obviously was terrified of him. The sylph jumped into the air taking the form of a gust of wind, and in this new form he flew over to Wysteria and surrounded her several times, tugging gently at her mane and tail before continuing off to the route left to her, which according to the gnomes pointing in the direction was the way out. He hoped that she picked up the message; if she didn't, well there was nothing else he could do to help her out. ((the route the gnomes are pointing to can either be the safest or not. Sometimes the elementals like to cause trouble and actually harm others; its up to you on if you want the path to lead Wysteria out or such. ^-^ ))

((Don't even think about it Kris. ^_~ Yama's going to be the one to take her to Silver Shadow. ))
Yama's speech was crushed as he was bashed out of the way by Inti. He growled at him, raring for another fight, but he knew that he was weak already from the last fight. He whipped his head around and to his alarm his mage-to-be had dissapeared. His eyes were wide as he stared at Brigid and Inti, but he soon turned on his tail and ran after Wysteria.
His senses told him the exact coordinates of Wysteria's wearabouts, and he soon found her. "You! Don't try to escape again!" He yelled at her, dropping his friendly manner towards her.

Wysteria halted, rearing as if to fight the breeze tugging so hard on her. At first she fought it, trying not to be overcome by the force of the elements, but sensed a subdued hint of urgency upon the breeze. The artist was confused at first, she hadn't any magical capabilities, but the wind was trying to guide her, she was certain.
Without questioning it, she dropped down and let the wind help to push her in the direction it was on, taking but four steps before Yama powered through the woods and towards her.
Her head shot around as a yelp escaped her throat as he greeted her with harshness and authority. His change in attitude wasn't entirely unexpected by Wysteria, as she'd suspected it and was easily afraid of it.
However, despite Yama's harsh order, Wysteria attempted to do just the opposite, stumbling back a few steps before tripping over her own hooves. Her body landed with a hard sound on her bottom. Wysteria shook her head pleadingly, the tears welling up once more, as she tried to scoot back away from him.
"Please...leave me alone....!" came out soft and meek.

(con. from the Cafe)
Peri Winkle stopped a brief, almost dramatic pause, at the forests edge. He could easily spot Inti's bright coat through the dark and gloomy environment ahead. With his wits about him, Peri rushed forward after his god, taking care to avoid the little hidden snags and holes ready to cause injury.
Not nearly as fast as the god, Peri never managed to catch up to his speed and only met up with him as Yama had fled the fight. Breathing deeply, his right eye gazed about the remains of the battle. Brigid's battered body spooked him for just a moment, as he had never quite seen someone injured in this manor before. The actor, however, managed to convince himself that it was like a scene that one could act in, and had placed any overwhelming emotions aside for later venting.
"What happened here, Inti?," he questioned him, thinking the other had managed to see the events leading to this, "Is she dead?"

(wow, Inti is actually doing some good around here...)
Inti glared at Yama like he was the most evil thing in the entire universe. Right now to Inti, he was. His ears were pinned flat against his head with disgust and he snarled, baring his teeth almost like a wolf as Yama retreated. As his surroundings and the situation had sunken in once again, Inti turned and galloped back to Brigid, his ears pricked straight up and he took a gulp as well as a deep breath in as he lowered his head to her ears. Inti wasn't at all phased when his mage entered the woods. He didn't even look up at him, like there was no reconition whatsoever. It felt like he’d never in his life been as worried as he was right now. She looked so injured and hurt. Not just by wounds, but her pride was probably bruised as well. Inti knew well, and he knew she’d probably feel hurt inside about the matter.
Is she dead? Peri asked. At this point Inti comprehended his mage was here, but still he did not look back up.
"I...I don't know..." He said, with fear in his voice.
She looked unconscious, but he prayed she wasn't dead. She couldn't be. She was a goddess right? He had to know for sure. “Brigid…?” He whispered to her softly. Then her bit his lip and looked away. She probably shouldn’t be talking in this condition, if she can talk at all.
He had to get her away from here. He could see the mud from the ground slowly seeping into her wounds, which wasn’t good at all. Where would he take her? And how would he explain to the normal mortals what had happened? The only places he really knew of were the nursery, the café, and the beach. The beach would be no help, and the café wasn’t the best place either. The nursery was filled with children, and he didn't want to frighten them with Brigid's blood stained body. Perhaps the Inn he'd seen while exploring Ponyville for the first tiime? Yes, he'd take her there. He’d forgotten if Brigid was a healer or not but she still would need a place to rest for the time being.
He stared at her wound for a second with a heavy heart. It was almost as if the stallion could feel her pain himself and he lowered his head and closed his eyes for a moment, feeling very sorry for her. How could Yama do this to Brigid, his mentor? No. She felt more than just a mentor to him. He was staring to think of her more like an older sister more and more. Just depending on how they acted towards one another. Maybe e was going crazy, but still, how could Yama do this to her? That bastard. He’d pay Inti would make sure of that. One day he’d definitely pay.
With a frown Inti propped her up for a moment, trying to be as gentle as possible. Placing her two front legs over his back and letting he rear drag off to the side, he began to carry her slowly into town. He was sure not to cause her pain, in fears that she’d wake up and start to yell at him again. He knew she could be tough on him sometimes, but she needed him.
(and off to the Inn)

Peri's face took a note of deep concern, not just for the victim, but for Inti as well. Setting aside the aspects of his godliness, Peri Winkle could clearly see that the beige unicorn meant something of great value to him. Whether not she was a sister, friend, or even lover was up for discussion, and the actor mentally wondered if he should even inquire about it. There was a line between personal information that Peri respected for anyone, mortal or not.
As Inti hoisted Brigid upon his back, Peri Winkle opened his mouth to offer his services, but paused, as Inti seemed quite withdrawn of himself. That and Peri reminded himself that he really wasn't all that strong, despite working out for his acting position. So instead, he took the lead a head to make sure the path for Inti was clear enough for easy travel.

(cont from the Cafe)
Jewel arrived a short time after Peri, the pegasus not used to running instead of flying. Her legs didn't carry her nearly as fast as her wings could, and what with being soaked by the rain, she had had no choice. She knew something was in the air.. she felt it, especially ever since her encounter with Tyr in the Cafe. Something new and frightening was afoot, and her curiousity was taken by it. She longed to figure out just what had changed in Ponyville.
Standing silently behind a few closely-grown trees, purple eyes watched the scene before her. Her coat was darkened by the rain, giving her almost a muddy appearance. The only thing that might have given her position away were her bright purple eyes and tips of her mane. She was otherwise well-concealed. Holding her breath, then forcing herself to take slow, quiet breaths, she worked, as she had been taught briefly in her homeland, to stay calm, silent, and alert.
Jewel first saw Peri standing with another stallion before a badly, possibly mortally, wounded mare. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth with a hoof to keep from gasping aloud. Did they do this? What happened? She had arrived too late to see the entire scene unfold. Was Peri a murderer? If she was curious before, she simply had to figure some things out now. She had started to get involved with him, but wanted nothing to do with him if he was dangerous. She found it hard to believe that he could do such a thing, but then again, she didn't know him that well yet.
A cry from another mare somewhere nearby in the forest jolted the antsy pegasus. This wasn't a place to stick around, much as she'd like to aid whoever had screamed for help. She slowly turned to make sure no one was near her, then looked back to Peri and Inti. She then noticed that they were carrying the mare toward the town. Ever curious and still soaked, Jewel stealthily followed.
