((Ooh my, how sad for the little filly! Amber would have at least set her up with some blankets in a storage room, but if you want to say she spent the night here, be my guest.))

The purple mare smiled. "Good. I was afraid I'd confuse you." She mentioned. She sat there as Amber combed her hair....

Amber shifted her weight between her back hooves(as her front two were occupied with hair styling), feeling a bit awkward. Twinkle seemed so knowledgable about all that dancing stuff that she felt as though any further conversation would continue to go above and beyond her level of understanding.
Trying to lighten her mood, the mare began to hum to herself - a country tune that she'd heard years back, which was most likely intended for a banjo. This was her salon, and her belief that she should always make sure she felt at home there, no matter who else happened to be visiting.

Glitterlilly finally stumbled out of the corner in a side room where she'd fallen asleep. After some of the excitement of being a ninja had worn off she'd used the ninja clothes to build a fort over some boxes. Then she pretended to be a princess with her own cooking show, then she organized scrunchies by color all in a row, which she then put in a bucket which she accidentally hid under a shelf, and then she'd closed her eyes "just for a little bit."
She was still trying to avoid home, but she couldn't really remember why. She woke up thinking about her daddy, and how she really should check on him today. Some days he forgot to eat, is all, no big deal.
Glitterlilly shuffled towards Amber, curious about the goings on. She hummed a bit, too. "My daddy plays that song...oh and good morning." She did have some manners, some of the time, after all.

The purple mare could hear Amber humming. She just listened to the peaceful tune....
She then saw a baby pony walk up to them. Twinkle smiled. "Morning to you, too." She replied to the foal.

((Oh my gosh, Glitterlilly is SO cute! )) "Mornin'", Amber said, pausing to smile warmly down at the filly. She had nearly forgotten the little thing was there - apparently baby ponies nowadays were good at keeping themselves quiet and occupied. And mares said foals were hard to handle! Of course Nova was a tad difficult, but then she wasn't quite right in the head. Turning back to Twinkle and switching to a brush, she continued, "I'll bet I'd like yer daddy - he's brought ya up right nicely." Of course, there was the fact that Glitterlilly had stayed overnight in the salon without much worry from any parents, but Amber tended to overlook things like that.

"Daddy isn't like he was." She popped up in her back legs in order to get a better look at the goin-ons, completely unaware that she might have revealed more about her daddy then she'd really wanted to. She rested her front legs up on the chair next to Twinkle, gazing up at the dancer.
"You look shiny, like a...um...ninja." Ninjas had been the most recent exciting thing she'd encountered, and it didn't matter so much that her "ninjas" had been neither actual ninjas nor particularly shiny. Just then her stomach let out and atrociously loud and rumbling growl, it seemed to last forever.
Glitterlilly stood there, mouth gaping, apparently stupified.
Then she broke down into a fit of giggles, landing on her rear and laughing, laughing, laughing. "Heeehe, dude. That was, like, looooud."

"Daddy isn't like he was."
Amber stared at the filly for a moment, puzzled, and remembered an earlier statement she'd made about her dad. So...was this stallion a good father? She didn't have much time to think about it as Glitterlilly had already bounded up to her customer.
"You look shiny, like a...um...ninja."
Not sure if Twinkle was terribly fond of foals, Amber quickly added in a sheepish attempt at an explanation, "She's trainin' to be a ninja." Before she could realize how odd the statement had sounded, the mare looked down again at the filly, who apparently needed something to eat.
Right! Growing foals had to eat! "Um... Would ya like to trot on down to the Cafe after I'm done with Miss Twirl's hair? We could get ya somethin' to eat." Recalling something the filly had said the previous day, she added, "...Somethin' flambed, maybe?"

Glitterlilly grinned, and stopped laughing long enough to look up at Amber and Twirl. "Right, I'm a pretty pretty princess ninja and it's awesome."
At the mention of food she paused. Oh right, the flambe. She was supposed to be sad until she got to set pudding on fire, but that just didn't seem important anymore. Plus, her daddy...should she go feed him, or should she stay here with her new friends. In a way, she didn't want to go. This was fun, and some days dad wasn't all that sad.
"I dunno."
She wiggled uncomfortably, feeling keenly like that answer wasn't so good.
"Like, um, what's her...uh...Miss Twirl's?...hair gonna look like? It's pretty."

Amber's mouth hung slighty open in shock - she'd really forgotten what she'd been doing. "Um...ponytail?" She tried her best to make it sound like a statement, but it was still obvious that she was unsure.
"You can help if ya like", the mare said, afraid of what the filly would get herself into if left unoccupied. Still, she was quick to add, "...By holdin' the scrunchies for me! It's...a very important job, ya know!" Casting a nervous glance in the direction of her customer, she continued, "But it'd have to be OK with Miss Twirl, o' course."

(ooc: durrr....I should reply, but I don't know what to say. *stares at Twinkle*)
"Ok, scrunchies!" Glitterlilly looked at Amber, waiting for the scrunchies to magically appear. Of course, the little foal had hid most of them last night, but she'd forgotten about that by morning.
She sat down, looking between Twinkle to find out if a ponytail was ok, and Amber, to see if she knew where to get a scrunchie to hold from.

((Oops! I'm sorry! XD))
Twinkle had been listening to the two speak. "Well, I'm not a ninja, actually, I'm a dancer." She mentioned with a smile. She then heard the foal's stomach growl, and then the foal was laughing on the floor. Twinkle watched her, and was also thinking of wanting kids of her own....
She smiled. "Well, of course she can help!" She said with a grin. "And going to the Cafe afterwards doesn't sound like a bad idea!"

Amber nodded, glad the mare was OK with having a foal hanging around, and headed over to a cabinet across the room. She opened it and peered inside for quite sometime before muttering, "That's funny... I coulda sworn I left my scrunchies here..."
Turning back to look at Twinkle and Glitterlilly, the mare shrugged and said, "Ah well. I s'pose Nova must've reorganized. Glitterlilly darlin', could ya run up to the attic and get some scrunchies? I'm almost sure there must be some up there..."

The attic? Yeah, sure, there was probably, like, CRAZY ZOMBIES up there. Glitterlilly stayed seated and looked skepticly up at Amber and Twinkle, chewing her lower lip apprehensively.
"Er, like...alone?"
Besides, she rather liked hanging out with the two grown-ups. Though, the longer it took to finish the hairstyle the longer it would be until she could eat something healthy, like pudding.
She made a frustrated sound, then shook her head, as if clearing the aggravation away.
"Ok...ok!"
She ran towards the stairs as she called back "I'll get, like, some legwarmers and stuff!"

Twinkle Twirl noticed that Glitterlily didn't want to go in the attic alone. The poor filly. Twinkle knew what it was like to be little and to be scared of ghosts and such.
The purple mare watched as the filly went to the attic. She heard her call out saying she'd get legwarmers. Were they going to be for Twinkle Twirl? The purple mare just decided to wait and see what they were for....
