After four, long hours, Bravo finally helped Tear fall asleep, and put her out of her agony for a while. When he waited for a little longer to make sure Tear and Sun were both fast asleep, he carefully jumped to his hooves and walked out to the tree-less fields with the Rainbow River, careful to not step on sticks or twigs or anything of the noisy-when-touched-or-stood-on sort. He stopped and listened for any sign of movement that would wonder (and tell) why such a pony is out by the waters edge in the middle of the night, after a long, hard, windy storm. When everything was clear, he spread out his enormous wings. They flexed and pounded as hard as they could, Bravo running along the ground for a good run up, until he jumped as high as he could into the air, pounding his beautiful, jet black wings and flying off.
He flew for a while, over pony-less fields and rocky mountains; through deep grey, foggy skies, and over burnt and dead treed forests and woods, to a tall, cold, snowcapped mountain, living inside deep, black, misty clouds. He soared around the peak of the mountain for a while until he found what he was looking for; a dark hole of an entrance to some unknown place. He swooped down, and landed with a soft thud onto the rocky ground, and through into the entrance. He walked through a short tunnel until he reached a semi-large oval-shaped room, with torches hung up along the walls; and an old, tall chair was seated in the very middle of the room and turned to face the back wall. “Master.” Bravo said in a not-very charming voice; very plain and stern. “Yes, Bravo?” Said a cold voice from the seat of the chair, “Have you brought anyone yet?” “Not yet, Master; dearly sorry, Master.” Bravo answered, bending one of his front legs and sliding down, close to the ground to bow low. “What?” came the voice again, “Why? All you have done has brought misery to my family. You are downright dust. I should kick you out a window.” “Sorry, Master.” Bravo added. The chair spun around, and there, seated in the chair was a relaxed Alicorn Pony, with huge, brown wings and a symbol of an eagle on its rear and bright, yellow eyes with slit-pupils. It flew like lightning out of the chair, and rammed into Bravo, knocking him flat onto the ground. “AUGH!” He shouted in pain. “GET OUT!” The Pony shouted, “GET OUT OF MY MOUNTAIN; OUT OF MY HOME… NOW!” The pony reared its’ forelegs off Bravo’s chest, so he could jump to his hooves; get a run up; and jump off the edge of the entrance, pounding his wings and going as fast as he could.
He finally got back to the forest, yet instead of landing down to earth, and walking back into the forest, he went limp; and fell, tumbling through the trees, and falling with a huge thump right near Sun.

Tear shifted painfully in her sleep. It had not been a good night and she was not liking it in the stuffy forest. She opened her sore eyes and blinked a lot in the misty gloom. "Gah..." She squeezed her eyes shut and then open, finally adjusting to the gloom. She stood shakily, her legs still asleep and very pained. "Gah..." She said again, it seemed to be her one word for every emotion word, She stood silently while her legs refused to work. She looked at Sun and then looked for Bravo, not seeing him she started to worry. "Gah..." She said again, this time scrunching her eyes and pursing her lips. That Bravo was always disappearing! She thought fustratedly. Blinking again in the darkness she attemped a wobblily step forward. It hurt. Her front knee buckled and she nearly fell to the floor with a thud had it not been for her wings, which got snagged on a couple low hanging branches. This saved her from waking up Sun but just added more pain to her misery. "Gah!" She whispered in a angered tone. Getting her legs beneath her again she stood up. Tear waited and silently tested her legs strength by stomping in place. This also warmed her up in the damp cold forest air. Finally after tromping the floor to flatness she walked forward. Looking at the loam beneath her hooves she made sure to step on the most earthy places, trying not to crumple leaves and snap twigs. After excruciatingly walking on trip toe through the forest she made it out into the fresh and light air of the river. Sighing happily she stepped out, streching her neck to feel the small cooling breeze. Her crystally blue eyes scanned the river side, detecting the beginning of a mist devolping. Smiling for the first time since the storm Tear cantered out. Grateful for the excersise of her legs she splashed into the River's shallows. Sighing deeply she lowered her head for a drink. I icy cool water glided down her parched throat like a bird over thermals. After drinking her full Tear looked around for a direction to search in the moonlight.
Traveling north Tear walked in the swirling waters of the River's bank. She looked aorund with perked ears and the bright moonlight reflecting off her white coat and eyes. She loved in it the sereneness of the night. Her legs no longer ached and a calmness had swept over her troubled spirit. Closing her eyes she trusted her instint to lead her around objects and sense for danger. Though she couldn't find Bravo or any other pony for that matter Tear felt perfectly at home, in the deep and calming silence. Taking a deep breath and letting it out Tear instantly stopped breathing. It wasn't right. The once beautiful silence hung heavy over her head and the cool waters had become ice cool. Almost threatening to trap her in it's murky depths. Tear gulped and headed backward, away from the silence, away from the captivating sweetness of it. It wasn't right....

Bravo lay there; unconscious. Sometimes his legs randomly twitching and eyes angry or merciful. Eyeballs, shifting in there sockets— Bravo sat up in seconds flat. “Ugh!” he whispered in pain. He draped his rings over his body as his head bent down to cough out some blood, together with some saliva. He felt weak and cold. His wings were threaded with leaves and pierced with sticks and twigs. His eyelids droopy and sleepy. The energy to grit his teeth in pain was agony. Suddenly, he felt some whispering in his ear. Echoing through the fur. A shiver traveled down his aching spine. He slowly and painfully lifted his head, his eyes wide a worried. “You have done nothing but dirt and misery to this family…” he heard, “I curse you… you do not obey my rules, my servants will take care of you…” Bravo looked around into the darkness of the trees. He heard the cawing of a crow, and screech of a bat. His heart beat faster. Like electricity was pumping to his heart. He reared and ran to the fields. He looked behind himself. His eyes widened. Light figures were flying towards him; fast. As they quickly came closer, they took the form of eagles, with grey feathers; and silver beaks and claws. He tripped— His hoof got court in some weeds, twisting and twining around him. He tripped and his head hit a nearby tree trunk and travelled down the bark, leaving deep, bleeding cuts and bruises. He fell to the ground with a THUMP, just at the edge of the forest near the river. His body went limp…

Tear was feeling panicky now. The air was getting heavy and she was having trouble breathing. Trying to gulp she felt herself choking. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHG!!" She cried out as her eyes widened and she reared up. She couldn't stand it. The suspence, the airlessness. And to make matters worst a fog had closed in around her. Closing in around her, it seemed to echo in her brain, in the air she gasped at. Tear landed with no breath in her lungs, none. Hitting the floor in a pile she instantly started to scramble away. Into deeper waters, they were trying to kill her, trying to kill her! Thoughts and memories flashed through her mind. One flashed that she had never seen before. The vision snapped something inside her and blinking she found herself in the river. Up to her neck. "Ack." Tear leapt forward and out of it. But she was still wary. What the hell was that?? She spun around to face out, away from the river. There was nothing there, but Tear knew something was there. Something....and she could stop it. Or momentarily, with that memory. What was it, it was vivid and real...but Tear couldn't rememeber. Instead of looking for the clip she took and deep breath and fled. Galloping down river and back to where she knew reality reigned.
Little did she know that the vision was of her brother, Glass laughing and playing with her on the hill top when they were just foals and Tear couldn't be taken away from her mother just yet.

Sun eyes snapped open, and she scrambled to her feet, she had hear noises. Despite her tired body she had woken up to these noises, she turned to ask her friends if they had heard the racket, but none of them were there. Now she looked at her surroundings uneasily, she hated how this always happened to her. Somehow her friends would disappear and she would never know that they were gone. Like the time she had kept swimming in the river when there was a crazy storm overhead. Sun listened carefully trying to hear the noises, but it was silent. She vaguely recalled where the sound had come from, and headed in that direction. She avoided twigs and leaves, so she was not heard, and crept forwards. She had nearly reached the edge of the forest when she saw a suspect who may have made the noises. It was Bravo lying in a bloody clump on the floor. Sun cried out a whinny and ran down to lie next to her friend. She hoped that the same thing hadn't happened to Tear. Sun was really worried about her friends, and what could have caused Bravo's pain, it definitely wasn't the weather which had pretty much cleared up, just a slight fog left. She looked around for other creatures who could have hurt Bravo, but couldn't find any. She turned back to Bravo, and rested her head on his back, she was tired of chaos, she wanted it to all stop and wanted The Rainbow River to be peaceful again. But she had a strange feeling telling her that it was just the beginning of an eventful month.

Tear slowed when she had been galloping for a good 20 min. Taking a calming breath she looked around. She saw what she was looking for. "Good! I'm right where I want to be!" She turned sharply right and galloped over a sturdy wooden bridge. And entered a neighbor hood. A smile hovered around her face as she pasted house after house. Finally she skid to a halt and leapt over a colorful picket fence. Running over the path and grass she smacked into the door. She instantly stopped moving. "Ouch..." She groaned, slipping down onto the door step. "Gah!" She stood up and opened the door. Slipping silently into her house.
Inside she sighed happily and ran to the couch. She leapt onto it, landing with a plop. She sighed again before squirming to get comfy. "Ahh...So much better than outside, our at least tonight. Tonight has been creepy." She muttered to herself before slipping into sleep with one hoof draped over the side of her blue polyester couch.

Figures; everywhere. Ghost-like figures, coming closer; and closer. Forming into eagles. Blood dripping from their transparent beaks. Ghost-like feathers falling off their wings, floating to the ground and disappearing into an icy mist; drifting away into the air. Running; running. Bravo’s legs were pumping like mad. Galloping to safety— He looked over at his back. Sun was resting her head on him and didn’t look too well to Bravo. He snuffled her forelock to wake her up.

RunningStorm quietly walked back towards the Rainbow River. She had been running with the storm untill it had faded away some distance away from the river. She shook her head to get her ruffled mane out of her face while her smile faded away slowly. It had been fun, the wind had almost lifted her of the ground, as if she had been flying. It was to bad storms was rare here she thought and flipped her tail. She jumped into the river to clean of the mud that had sticked to her as she had been running. She shivered as the freezing water touched her skin but ducked under it anyway. She broke the surface and jumped quickly out of the river and shook the water of her body. Her black coat once again revealed from under the brown mud.

Sun's eyes slowly opened, somebody had nudged her. She looked up to see Bravo. Sun struggled to her feet, remembering what had happened, she looked around for carnivorous creatures, there were none. She sighed, and looked back at Bravo, "I'm so tired and confused, I don't know what's happening. How...Why....Are you okay?" Sun mumbled.

Tear had been sleeping for a while when a subconsious alarm clock rang and she bolted awake. What time is it? She wondered dully, while checking the clock that hung over the fire place. It was 4:00 am. Tear groaned and slumped down onto her face. Everything seemed to have happened so long ago, she just wanted her normal life back. But she knew that was never going to happen. Groaning again she stood up and made her way to the kitchen. Fixing up a cup of hot chocolate she sipped it. The steam and smell of it waking her up, slowly but surely. Tear needed to find her friends, but she was lazing around at home. Graoning she gulped down the rest of her hot chocolate and galloped out the door and to the river.

“I’m not sure.” Bravo answered. “My legs are quivering, and I had a strange dream. There were eagles all around the woods. They were all ghost like. They were defiantly carnivorous. Blood was stained on their beaks. I think It’s from — “Ow!” He spat. Bravo looked at his leg. His knee was bleeding like mad from a huge gash running down his leg. But that wasn’t the only thing that was bleeding. Red blood was dribbling down from his nostrils, that were flaming. His mouth was drooling blood. He kept coughing it up. His cheeks had deep cuts. “I think I won’t make it.” Bravo whispered; as a tear rolled down his cheek, paining the open wounds. “I’m in terrible pain.”

Sun's legs trembled, her friend was in so much pain. A tear fell from her eye. Sun couldn't beleive that this had happened so fast, there must have been a lot of the things he was talking about. Sun lay down against Bravo, as he told her, "i think i won't make it". At these words more tears fell from her eyes, "you will make it" she tried to assure him. Sun thought out what they would do, first she would let him rest, then they would get out of the forest, maybe to the river where Bravo could wash off. Then they would go from there. Sun blinked away her tears, and told him, "rest for now". She would stay awake, and keep watch.
