From somewhere outside the store there came a yelp and the sound of a woman shouting "YARGH! Delusional megalomaniac pony!" then some running and then Spookytale was inside the store.
She looked frazzled. And startled to see someone up and working in this heat.
"...hello"

Star Swirl, surprised at Spookytale's sudden entrance, stumbled backwards, but quickly recovered and said, "Erm, uh, hello. May I help you?"
((LOL Spooky....))

(haha, thanks!)
"Yes...? " Spooky paused to look around, muttering something that sounded like *ooooh....breakable, but shiny* before turning her attention back to Star Swirl.
"So, um..is this all for stargazing? What about ghosthunting? Or maybe something that works underwater?"
Because, as far as Spooky could figure, what good was stargazing by the ocean if you couldn't do it in the ocean too? She looked hopefully at the shimmery clerk.

Star blinked a couple times before replying to the very hyper mare. "Well, no, I don't have anything like that. I mean, the watter woould probably disrupt your viewin of the stars, and, well, ghosts have nothing to do with astronomy anyways, but," she said. "if you look around I bet you might be able to find something that might be useful for what you want."

Spookytale smiled, then gently nosed around. She was slightly relieved that there were no signs of damage, even though she thought Eshu might have come out of here. She never shook off the heeby jeebies he gave her months ago. Maybe he really was harmless.
She looked everything over, eventually settling on a durable waterproof camper's Atlas of the Stars. She didn't know if campers got rained on a lot, or frequently fell into rivers, or what, but waterproof was waterproof.
It was too hot to do much during the day, so stargazing seemed like a fair compromise. Not as invigorating and refreshing as ghost hunting, but it'd do.
"This is a nice store, thank you for the help." She put the book on the counter and started rooting around for her cash.

"Thanks," Star Swirl said, grinning. "I'm glad I could help you."

Spooky grinned, then quickly rehearsed a nice normal goodbye in her head. I must not mention vampire clowns, even though stargazing would be a good time for them. Think of the comedic effect...."So, hopefully tonight will be clown free." pause "Cloud! Cloud free..." She clutched her package and ducked out into the wilting heat. (oops..forgot: cont. wherever Binnacle is, IF Binnacle is somewhere. )

Star Swirl grinned at Spookytale's goofy behaviour as the other rushed out of the shop.

Prophesy wandered into the shop. Wow, astronomy! She thougt for herself, looking at the telescopes. The blue Twice As Fancy unicorn smiled. Sigh. Opening up a store is´nt easy.

Swirlie grinned as Prophesy walked into the shop. Yay! Buisiness! Finally!, she thought happily to herself. Her smile was getting bigger as she called, "Hello! May I help you with anything?"

Star Swirl thought for a moment, then walked over to the display window, pointed to her newly set-up telescope display, and said, "That one has a built-in camera with which you can take pictures with."

"Sounds great." Prophesy looked at it. "But how much do it cost?"

Star Swirl told the other the price. It was more than a regular telescope, but not by too much.
((XD I can't think of an appropriate price))

((Hehe. What are the Ponyville money called? " Prophesy paid for the telescope, thanked so much and left the store. (Cont. at Starlight Toyshop)
