"I want orange too!" Sherbet trotted up beside Tsuwari who she remembered as a bit of a trouble-maker along with herself. Orange was naturally her favorite color - although she prefered it in lighter shades.
Kail came up from her tall dive quite a bit closer to shore than she had dove in. Her mother had taught her to swim, her grandmother had taught her to hold her breath. Afterall, the closest grandmother had been a dolphin.
Her head bobbed back underwater again as she used her large wings to push through the water. A little different than air, but basically the same motion. She surfaced again when it got too shallow to swim and stood up, pushing through the chest-high water until it was at her knees and then shaking the extra water from her mane, tail, and wings. A few lithe jumps brought her the rest of the way to the sand and she delicately shook off each forleg.
Coming back up to the group building the sandcastle, Kail stopped just before sitting down again. Great Rainbows, that yellow stallion was handsome! He looked almost as if he were Coursian... almost. Perhaps beyond Course? She resolved to find out soon, but now he was busy talking with Cane.

"Your thoughts dwell on him," Set said, bowing to Rose. "I should leave you in peace." Yet he was hesitant to leave.
-----
Sky Feathers finally rejoined the group getting popsicles.
"I want a green one!" She shouted.
"Sky!" Razz shouted.
"I mean please!" She quickly recovered. "Please, may I have a green one."

Dreamer smiled. "Yeah they do huh?... Pony popcycles..." He glanced at Razz, and followed his gaze to Kail who did a rather splendid dive.
He grinned, but then he felt the back of his neck prickle a bit. He looked around and noted a unicorn watching Moony, her friend and the kids. He wrinkled his nose. The alicorn could sense something from the unicorn, and there a few others who gave off the similar vibes, which made him feel relatively uncomfortable.
He glanced back, seeing Ocasta who was looking out to sea ((or whatever the big water is)), and looked rather distant. Something was a bit familiar about him... Dreamer felt as though he had heard of the unicorn from somewhere before.
He relaxed a bit, and allowed himself to laugh when Razz corrected Sky.

Moony smiled. If Wysteria said she was fine, well then... of course the unicorn had a few doubts, but she did not want to annoy Wysteria about it too much.
She giggled at the sight of the empty wrappers. "That's ok... Hey!" Moony frowned, but then smiled. "Oh well. I guess there would be more back home huh?" She licked her lips.

Green eyes wide, Cane jumped to his hooves, not knowing whether to believe this strange pony or not, but leaning towards believing. It seemed unreal to him that a God as such should walk ponyland, but after the rainbow incident, he had to say he would believe almost anything now. Almost. He swished his tail, frowning in thought.
"I believe you!" he gasped, nodding his head quickly, "But...how? Why are you hear?" he paused, realizing he must have sounded rather rude. He blushed, "Um...sorry...I've just never met a god before!"

Baby Sea Spray took the popsicle. "Thank you." She walked over to Tsuwari. "Hi." She licked her popsicle. "How are you? I like cherry popsicles best. What flavor is your favorite?"
Twinkle Twirl watched Baby Sea Spray, she looked around her, she didn't have anyone to talk to. She noticed everyone else was busy. She sighed, she wasn't sure if she should leave the beach or not. Her attention was then turned to Ocasta, who was by the ocean. Twinkle Twirl ran over to him. "How come your over here by yourself?" She asked him. "My name is Twinkle Twirl, what's yours?"

Carefully Charm placed the last shell on the castle. Quite pleased, she backed up a little to admire the towering castle she had help to decorate. Ears swiveled at the mention of popsicles. Purple eyes lit up as her mouth watered at the thought of the sweet, icy treat.
Bouncing about Dreamer, the little pegasus asked, "Can I haves a 'sicle too?"

As Kail watched the stranger and the white pony, Cane suddenly jumped up animatedly, and then seemed to blush. It made her only more interested to know what exactally was going on and who that stallion was. She sat down on the blanket next to the sandcastle still starring at the two, and didn't try to hide her interest. If not Coursian perhaps Nerabian? Only the Nerabians were never that color, nor earthers, nor could they stand sunlight. Jadus perhaps? He seemed to have a little flair in him that would mix well with Jadus....
Rainbows she was practically itching with questions she wanted to ask him. She had always held a fondness for the Coursian ponies. Her father was Coursian and Kail thought him to be the perfect father and husband to her mother. She blushed then, hasn't even met the stallion and here she was already thinking he might be a good husband just because he might be Coursian.
Sherbet waited patiently for her popsicle, and when Razz reminded Sky to use her manners Sherbet blushed. "Please m'am."

(Just remembered; The purple kitten. I think I'll just make it that she had it with her all along; It doesn't make any difference, it's just a cat.))
"Popsicles!" Gumdrop gasped. "I want purple! I want purple!!! Puh-lease!!??" She looked down at her kitten that had just tumbled over. "And Purple," She said, referring to the cat. "Will have a bit of mine."

Dreamer grinned at Charm. "Of course you can Charm." He said, getting up and brushing off the sand on his dark coat.
"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked looking over to Wysteria and Moony, before looking back at Charm.

Ocasta found himself surprised by the fact that this mortal just suddenly ran up to him and started talking. He looked at her, but didn't find her much to his liking mage-wise. But frst things first, might as well answer her question.
"I just am." He replied to her question; and he realised that his answer wasn't very bright. "...well, I am not really the type to socialise as much." He finished off and managed a smile. " Ocasta, is my name." the unicorn mentioned nothing about being a god.

A tall, rather interesting looking pony, if it could be called that even, came soaring above the beach on dragon-wings. His tail was also that of a dragon, and on his head, instead of a unicorn horn, there were two antlers like a deer. He let a rippling laugh fly on the wind before and behind him and then landed quickly.
"Why hello all my beach-loving friends! Wonderfully beautiful day isn't it?" He threw a most lavish smile to all the gods and goddesses present and then eyed the crowd, feeling out who might be mage-material and who might try to run him out of town.

Wonderfully my rear end....more like horribly humid. Brigid didn't hide a snort as she sent the message in greeting to Lian.
She lazily glanced back over to Wysteria and Moon Crystal, still surrounded by the foals. Brigid would just have to be patient.
-----
Wysteria smiled calmly back to Moony. "Yes, there are more at home," she assured her. On her budget though, Wysteria really shouldn't have picked them up to begin with. At the time she reasoned with herself that it was a cheap alternative to paints, and considering how the image turned out all crazy emotions aside, it was worth the cash.
As more of the children bounded up, the artistic mare filled each one of their orders. And at every responding 'thank you' Wysteria's heart fluttered for her fondness of children. Maybe I'll me a mother someday...
-----
Rose let out a fee laugh. Sure, she thought of him a lot. With Tsuwari around, who couldn't be reminded of him? But Rose had managed to move past Glayse's death. He had a tendency to visit her on occasion; it was almost like he wasn't dead at all, at times.
"Dwell is not quite the term I would have used," Rose added thoughtfully to his comment. She paused a moment, trying to form the word she was looking on. "Perhaps, more like thinking fondly of him. I really don't have the time to dwell so much, as my foal keeps me on the tips of my hooves."

Ahh my bright little ray of sunshine! Lian turned to Brigid with a winning smile, and I would think a light goddess would LOVE a day like this. And all these little ones, just waiting for their minds to be filled with whatever we tell them. His grin turned a little more wicked. He was not afraid of children - children could be most useful sometimes. Even if not useful, they liked to play, and were very gulible.
"Popsicles eh?" he sidled over to the mares with the popsicles and the suddenly adoring youngsters. "You know, Im pretty sure that mare over there (he pointed to Brigid) has ice cream bars for whenever you are done with your popsicles." Lian's eyes danced merrily as a light orange filly looked over in Brigid's direction with a smile. Popsicles were good, ice cream was even better. Especially on a hot, humid day like today.

Twinkle Twirl looked at Ocasta. "Ah, I see." She looked out at the horizon, which was so beautiful. The sun, which was setting, was shining slightly over the water. Twinkle Twirl could feel a slight breeze blowing towards her. She turned back to Ocasta. "So, mind if I stay? I don't have anyone else to talk to, really." She took a quick glance at the others. Then turned to Ocasta.
Baby Sea Spray licked her cherry popsicle, waiting for Tsuwari to reply.

"I believe you!" he gasped, nodding his head quickly, "But...how? Why are you here?" he paused, realizing he must have sounded rather rude. He blushed, "Um...sorry...I've just never met a god before!"
Inti could sense that the stallion was a little embarrassed from his babbling. "No problem." He said reassuringly and surprisingly casual-like. You'd thing a god would sound proper and wise but not Inti. He was little less traditional.
"I don't really know why I'm here." Inti admitted, continuing, “I could just sense something that led me out of the borders of my village that I’d been guarding for hundreds of years, so it must be something important. It was just…” He said looking off to the side, trying to think, “…an indescribable something. I don’t really know what really, but it’s here. It might very well be something that will happen in the near future. I don’t know.” He shrugged, realizing that he himself was now rambling. “But I’m afraid that whatever it is that will happen might be something bad. I guess that’s what brought me here.”
He blinked and looked at Cane with a confident smile and a wag of his bobbed tail. “And if it does happen to be something bad, I need someone to help me through it. That’s why I’m asking you…if you like to be my mage, my friend.” He extended a hoof to see if Cane would shake it to seal the deal. He knew he’d consider every mage he had a friend. He was just optimistic that way. He tried to look welcoming and friendly.

"True enough," Set said to Rose. He allowed a sense of pain to cling in his eyes momentarily."Not a day goes by that I don't think on what I've lost in my own life." He was an all-powerful god at the height of his power, was he not? "All I can do is move forward and hope to recapture some of what I once had."
He shook himself, smiling again in a kind way. A shiver ran across his coat. More gods were about. It irritated him.
"So, Rose Rebellion," he continued. "What keeps you if not your foal? You must have your own interests? Or does he truly take that much of your time? Well-deserved, to be sure, but every mother needs a night to herself now and again."
He resisted the urge to stamp his feet.
