Shadoweaver shook her head as she refilled the glass and slid it over.
Her Inn attracted the oddest of crowds some days. She knew she'd said she wanted an interesting life, but....! Crazy people and gods!?

"Of course I'm sane dear fellow!" DW grinned jovially "Sure as I'm 678 as of this summer! To think, that makes it 653 years since I last stood guard at my village's walls..." She paused mulling this over "Time passes fast doesn't it? lucky thing pastries have a memory of three seconds and don't live more than a week, or I'd have an awful lot of enemies."

Ken'aku turned to look at her as she spoke to him. When she finished he continued to stare at her in silence. He then turned to Shadoweaver. "I feel sorry for you, dealing with these type of people." He turned back to DW and decided to mess with her mind. "But haven't you heard of the Mary-Sue pastries with unlimited memory and an IQ of 500?" he said in mock surprise. "They're hard to come by but you never know when one will rock up at your front door. But you can always tell when it's a super immortal pastry. They like to wear capes and ride dragons." His voice hushed. "And sometimes they can grow wings..."
"I hope you never come across one though. I wouldn't even want my worst enemy to meet one."

"Actually, there are more interesting sorts around here." The flutter suddenly tilted her head, intently listening to the two sets of footsteps approaching, "In fact, here come a pair of them now."
Tyr walked in, a stocky, scarred grey unicorn with a black mane and tail. His black eyes took in the whole room and snorted at the sight of DW. "Evening, my dear 'Weaver. The usual, please, but double helpings. I just had the most interesting of meetings on the beach."
A mare, also grey, entered a few steps behind him. Any glimpse of her dark eyes seen through a long, wavy mane was unsettling. She was no more in her right mind than DW, except that she had cunning and great power behind the insanity.

Ken stood his ground as the pair entered. They looked... Powerful.

"And dis is de Inn," Loha-P entered the dark doors with a bright smile. She had taken the long way to get here, showing Star everything she could in the time it took for them to get there, which wasn't long. The Inn was not as bright and cheery as Loha herself, and she didn't much care for it, but she thought this new Coursian might just.
"Hey mons!" she said to everyone already in the room.

Shooting Star walked in looking around. The light from outside caught around the necklace and flute he sported causing them to flimmer and reflect some of the light onto the walls. He was indeed surprised at how dark it seemed. He had been hoping to find maybe some place with a little more sunlight. he looked at Loha whom he wondered what she thought of him if she was adament in thinking he would belong here. he was a bit surprised and slightly embaressed though to take note of the other ponies present and bowed his head graciously.
"Hello everyone. I am sorry to interupt, please don't let me bother you."
He mentioned to everyone and looked to the female equine who had brought him.
"It is a little dark in here."

"It is a little dark in here."
The white mare laughed, her pale blue eyes sparkling. "Well, yah mon, is dark. It is called the Black Dragon Inn." She shook her head at him, that was exactally why she brought him here. The only time she had ever gone to Course (to book passage from Course to Dream Valley - the boats didn't go straight from Jadus anylonger) she had only seen the darker inns and taverns, and assumed all Coursians disliked light. They had de-throned the sun-king afterall.

(OOC: The Inn isn't all THAT dark. There are many, many windows, candles, mage lights and such about. ThoughI guess the dark wood in the place would...aah, nevermind, but it's not THAT dark. ) Shadoweaver sighed at the sudden infux of customers. She served Tyr and 'Mina, then semi-cheerfully greeted the others. "How may I help you?"

Ken stared at the Coursian mare. Her voice carried a strong accent. Still, Ken stayed where he was. He didn't feel too much like being polite and saying hello today.

Tyr gave Ken a sustained look, then sat down to his dinner. Aedeminar sat behind him in silence. When Tyr was almost done eating she suddenly jerked her head.
"Emerald Shadow just got ahold of me. Apaprnetly she's been trying for quite some time. We might have to go help them with their...problem." Aedeminar didn't specify which problem. The news of Queen Sunrunner's dissaperence had reached them through Dragonrose's husband some time ago.
"They've still made no progress?"
Aedeminar mutely shook her head.
"I'm not sure I can leave here...things are rather dicey." Tyr stared at his plate. He had some obligation to Dream Valley still...
"And their situation is any less so?" Aedeminar snorted.
"Point." The god brooded, well aware of Shadoweaver's eyes boring into him.

While still a bit apprehensive of the situation ShhotingStar was not about to show signs of improper behaviour and once more brought a smile forward and approached whom he imagined was owner, or at the very least an employee.
"I am terribly sorry to bother you ms but I was looking for a place to stay. You see I am new to this place and I cannot return to my home untill I am given word and so.. I was looking for a plce to take up residance."
Casting a glance back to Aloha and still smiling to show appreciation for the assistance.
"She told me that this would be a good place for me to fit in..."
Though thinking about it he wasn't quite certain WHY she thought this would be the best place.

Shadoweaver's lips quirked, though she didn't quite smile. "This place is up to its ears in oddness, but there are rooms available." She gave Tyr another glanced, shaking her head slightly. "Oddness, like I said. What sort of room would you prefer? We're more full than we usually are, but..."

Ken watched Tyr with narrowed eyes...
(when will he recruit him?)

Tyr took advantage of Shadoweaver's distraction (why was she staring at him?) to apprach Ken. "Hello," he said softly--well, as soft as he gravelly voice could get. "I am Tyr."
