"Your mother must have been an amazing dancer." Locke replied.
Seeing the tear slid down her beautiful purple cheek, the dark purple stallion wondered if it had been something he had said or done that had upset her.
"Are you all right?" Locke asked as they stood outside the Cafe.
His hoof on the door Locke hesitated opening it. If she was upset maybe it was better not to go in. Maybe they could find someplace quiet and just talk instead. If that was what Twinkle Twirl wanted.

(cont. from the studio) Twinkle Twirl wiped the tear from her cheek. "I'm fine, just thinking about my mother, that's all." She said. She walked into the cafe, taking the thought out of her mind.

"You sure, love?" Locke asked his voice taking on a bit of a British accent.
Letting the door close behind them he glanced about the Cafe. Though not packed, it was still fairly busy for this time of afternoon. Motioning towards a booth, he wondered if that was all right with Twinkle Twirl.

"You sure, love?"
Twinkle Twirl never thought he would call her that. At least, not yet. But she didn't mind. She did like him a bit, since he was being nice to her, and he seemed harmless. She nodded and went over to the booth he pointed to.

The purple mare walked over to the booth and sat in it. She looked at the menu, trying to decide on something to get.

Twinkle decided to get a vanilla milkshake. She looked over at Locke and smiled.

Since Twinkle Twirl had brushed it off as nothing, telling him she was fine, Locke chose not to press the matter. Sliding into the seat across from her he smiled brightly. Picking up a menu he began to glance over it. So many sweet treats. How was a stallion supposed to decide?
"What sounds good to you?" Locke asked lowering his menu.

The purple mare smiled. "I think I'll get a vanilla milkshake. And you?" She replied, setting her menu on the table.

"I was thinking a hot fudge sundae sounded pretty good." Locke replied a smile on his face.
Motioning towards a waitress Locke placed the order for a vanilla milkshake and a sundae. As the waitress took the menus with her, Locke leaned back farther into the cushioned seat.
"So love, have you got any hobbies? Or is dancing your whole life?"
The purple stallion was trying his best to get a conversation going. The topic of hobbies seemed like a safe enough one. At least for now. Who knew maybe she was into art and would like to visit a museum after their little afternoon treat. Or perhaps she enjoyed nature and would be up for a peaceful stroll through the woods.

Twinkle Twirl smiled when Locked called her love again. She was beginning to fall in love with him. He was sweet, kind, gentle, Twinkle Twirl just loved all those things about him.
She perked up when he asked her about her hobbies. "Well, I do like nature, and of course dancing as well. But I do also like to act. I dream that someday I'll become an actress." She explained to the stallion.

Just as Twinkle finished answering his question the waitress returned with their order. Smiling Locke thanked her as she moved away from the table. He watched for a moment as the hot fudge slipped farther down his already melted ice cream. A few drops of melted ice and a blob of hot fudge landed on the table with a tiny splat. The ice cream instantly began to stretch out, forming a larger puddle.
"Really? Are there any good trails for walking around here?" Locke asked curious.
He enjoyed nature. Actually quite a lot. Especially the quiet and the solitude of it. So few bothered to take the time to enjoy nature that it was almost refreshing to find another who liked it as well.
The purple stallion smiled as he took a bite of his ice cream before saying, "With as beautiful as you are and as wonderfully as you dance, I bet you would make a fabulous actress."

((Uh, you accidentally put Dazzle instead of Twinkle. Oh well.)) Twinkle Twirl smiled as the waitress came by with their treats. The mare took a sip of her shake. The icy coldness quickly went to her head. She didn't mind, though. Her ears flicked a bit when Locke was admiring her beautiness. She smiled. "Why, thanks for the compliment, Locke." She said with a grin. "Maybe after we do finish here we could go for a walk." She wondered then if Dazzle Surprise was home, since she lived out in the grasslands. Twinkle Twirl wouldn't mind going to the grasslands. She took another sip of her milkshake.

[OOC: Whoops. Sorry about that. Fixed it.]
Locke took a few more bites of his dripping sundae. Hot fudge was good, but oh so messy. And it really did melt the ice cream far quicker than any pony could eat it. Well except for maybe a baby pony, but even Locke doubted they could finish it that fast.
"You're welcome." Locke replied flashing her his sweetest smile, "An afternoon stroll sounds fantastic. I'd really like that. Quite a lot."
Locke thought to himself, "More than you could ever imagine."

((Ok, thanks. )) The purple mare smiled as she took a few more sips of her milkshake. She really was falling in love with Locke. She wondered if he was her true love. Could it be? Twinkle wished she knew. He did seem sweet, and he seemed to like her. And if Twinkle was falling in love with him, then maybe he was her true love.

A warm smile was plastered on Locke's face. If someone would have punched him right than and there for no reason at all, the smile would have remained. He couldn't stop smiling if he wanted to.
Pushing the half-finished treat towards the center of the table Locke stated, "I don't remember hot fudge sundaes being so big. Do they always make them so big here?"
