[[ahh! I'm falling behind! *lol*]]
Twilight smiled when Ville explained to her his reaction, and understood well. Yes, she, too, knew to some extent how it was when some news about you might spread around to practically everyone... her great secret was her ability to make wishes come true, and she recalled the horrible hordes and hordes of ponies at her door in a few towns she had stayed in when her power had come public. Everyone always had a wish. She had got used to that.
She nodded to the offer about the milkshake and smiled to the suggestion of getting a hat like that.
"I'm afraid that kind of a hat wouldn't really be my thing," she murmured and then continued to be silent while the milkshakes arrived. She sipped on hers and noticed it was strawberry. Well, it was better than orange. For some reason, she couldn't stand orange right now.
As she drank her milkshake she came to think that a great many orange things had of late been a special disgust to her. That was odd. As she pondered upon this she missed the others' conversation, until Angel slid her hoof over the table on Ville's. She realised what the younger mare was trying and put the milkshake down. She didn't want to mess up anyone's love life - or sprouting love life, even less.
"Oh... I am afraid I'm intruding upon you," she said softly. "An old mare like me. I'm sure you two young ponies would rather be alone."

The pegasus then heard what Twilight said. Angel didn't want to be rude to her, anyway. Twilight was a nice pony, and very polite it seemed. Angel turned to the older mare. "Oh, well, if you want to leave it's fine, but if you want to stay, then stay! You're not intruding on anything!" She said kindly.

Ville Valo suddenly felt like leaving the cafe himself. He pulled his hoof away from Angel's and said to Twilight angrily. "I don't have to explain to you again that nothing is going on, do I?! Or maybe that horn is making it hard to get through to your brain."
Then he leant over to Angel and removed his hat from her head, and putting it back on his own. "Look, I don't know what you think is going on, but I think you're on the same track as her." He nodded towards Twilight. "I just wanted to treat you to a milkshake, nothing more than that."
Valo stood up. "I think I'd better leave."

Angel was then shocked by Ville. "Ville, wait!" She said. "Look, I'm sorry, I know we aren't going out, and Twilight knows we aren't either! Please stay." She said to the stallion, hoping he wasn't offended in any way. Angel didn't want him to leave, but maybe he didn't like her. Was it because of her hair? No, hair doesn't matter, it is what's inside that counts anyway, right? She could show Ville how sweet she really was, then he might change his mind and like her. Angel knew that of only Ville stayed to get to know Angel better, he'd like her in a second.

Twilight was a little upset by the reaction she had caused. She never lost her calmness, however, and got up from the table gracefully, looking at Ville.
"I assure you," she said quietly, "that I meant no insult. I only meant what I said. If it offended you, I am sorry. I am not very used to young ponies enjoying my company." She smiled faintly. "In fact, I am not used to anyone enjoying my company at all."
She sighed and looked at Angel.
"My dear, I thank you for the kind words. But where I like you, I do not wish to upset anyone any further. Goodbye." She turned from her and nodded to Ville as well. "It was a pleasure meeting you, nevertheless, rock star. Perhaps I shall come listen to you sing someday."
Then she turned, and started towards the door, turning her head as she felt a few tears suddenly in her eyes. She was certain Angel could not see them, but was embarrassed that Ville might have picked up on them from where he was standing. She was hurt by words far more easily than she cared to admit, and what Ville had said had wounded her a little. She never wanted to harm anyone.

The purple peg said goodbye to Twilight and watched her leave. She did notice the tears in the unicorn's eyes, but Angel decided not to say anything. She looked at the stallion, and got up from her seat. "Well, maybe this wasn't a good idea. Perhaps I should've just left you alone, then none of this would've happened." She said. "But if you want me to stay, then that's fine."

It was true that Ville had picked up on the tears and at that moment he felt a pang of both frustration and guilt. He had made mares cry before but he had never expected to make a grown mare cry.
He stood frozen there for a moment, watching the mare walk away. Desperation sunk in as he realised he couldn't just let her walk out of his sight, not when he had hurt her like this. He looked at Angel, opened his mouth to say something, and after no words came out, he pushed his chair aside and galloped towards Twilight.
He put his snow white hoof on her shoulder gently and said from behind her, "I'm sorry. I really am. And I can't bear to see you upset just because I overreacted." He smiled softly at her.

Twilight halted for a moment at the touch of the hoof on her shoulder. She winced and brushed away her tears with one hoof, then looked at Ville. There was an ageless sorrow in her eyes.
"It is all right," she said quietly, and then continued out of the door. Her mind went back on a crime she felt she could never make right.

Ville was upset to see that she still wanted to leave. He followed after her, not letting her escape from his sight.

Angel decided to follow them, as she wouldn't let Twilight steal Ville away from her.
