Tink and Sparx had been sticking to mainly back corridors and secret passages on their way to the Power grid. Tink had a plan, but she wasn't talking anymore than Envy. Minus the insults of course. That was what was almost scary. Tink wasn't usually this serious. "Ah, here we are." Tink pressed against a fake door hard as she could. It fell over softly, into a dust coated room. In the room, was a console, controlling all the power in the castle, they had found the power grid.

"Well, you certainly know your way around here," Sparkleworks said, uncertain of what to think. She glanced around the room, covered with dust, and ran a hoof over the computer screen. It formed a large dust cloud around her head, and she sneezed loudly. "So how do we work all this stuff? I'm what you might call technically challenged. It's been a while since I've used a computer, there aren't too many at the Rainbow River." she joked, wiping away a cobweb from the chair.

"Tracked this place down the first month. Don't touch the screen, it'll leave hoof-prints. Now, I suggest you light the candle." Tink tapped the blue button and all the lights in the castle shut off. (Except for the power grid of coure, it ahs generators.) Tink blew away a bit of the dust. "Hand me the knife and the screwdriver."

"Oops I didn't think of hoof prints," Sparx said sheepishly. She groped around for the candle and hurriedly lit it. It didn't provide much light, but enough for Tink to work her magic. Not literal magic that is. Sparkleworks realized she had no idea how to work a power grid. Not as if this was a surprise. She set the candle by the computer and went over to the entrance to be a lookout for evils. "I hope you didn't forget to take your Riddelin Tink!" she still had it in the joke department but this was no time for jokes so she quieted down so Tink could begin her work.

Tink began prying the metal with teh screwdriver. Carefully pulling it off to reveal all the wires she chose the wires coming from the buttons, and sliced them. All except for teh CD Player. Which she switched to full volume before taking of teh volume control. She then carefully got rid of anyway to turn it off. "Better cover your ears." She warned seriously. The minute she turrned back on the power the music was blasting. Tink hummed along to There's Always Another Rainbow while handing Sparx and herself some ear plugs. She grinned with triumph. "Let see how our little friends like this."

Having passed by the broken front door, Cubby stepped into a hall, and vanished. Reappearing on the other side she found herself in a familiar secret passage. Without looking one way or the other she headed straight ahead.
There was no sense in wasting time by looking around. She knew her way around the passages better than most having spent many a day playing in them when she was younger. Her father had been present at any and all of the festivities that were held, and she had found herself dragged along like a puppet with no will of its own. Pink ribbons in, sausage curls. Cubby would have normally grimaced at the thought, this time though she was almost thankfully. It was because of those dreaded curls and ribbons that she had ever wandered through the passages. But than she and her best friend Harp had always managed to get themselves into more trouble than not when they were together. How she missed him. How long had it been since he had left Ponyville now? Two years? No three and half.
Pushing the thoughts from her mind she continued down the narrow passageway. As music filled the air, almost rocking the very beams that held the castle together, she spotted an open door. A ghostly white hoof stepped inside and she spotted the pair of young mares.
Two tones purple eyes stared at them. Wondering what sort of mischief they were up to.
"Why?" Came the eerie question spoken in an almost distressed tone.

Sparx grimaced as the music blasted on and gratefully took the earplugs offered by Tink. She was still on the lookout when she saw some movement. A head popped through the open entryway and it eyed them suspiscously. "Tink, you might want to take a look at this!" but realizing that Tink wouldn't be able to hear her, she backed up towards the computer without taking her eyes off the mare and nudged her pal. She saw the pony say something, but could not hear. From the looks of it, she was mouthing the word why? Sparkleworks didn't know what to do. She wondered why she hadn't sensed the oncoming trouble, but then she remembered that her mane had been prickling at the back of her neck since they had entered the power grid. She looked back at Tink, hoping for an answer.

OOC: I think it's about 9 at night. I'm not sure, you might want to ask Tink. She's the one who started this.

"Who in the realm are you?!?" Tink turned with the agility of a ninja, ears laid flat against her head facing Cubby. "Oh, just another one form our side. Thank goodness. We're trying to get rid of the evils, here, have some ear plugs!" Tink shouted above the loud verses of Call Upon the Sea Ponies, tossing Cubby some ear plugs.

(if its nine then the only ones who will hear it are Envy, Kail, Sunny, and Coon... none of the evils are actually in the castle till well past midnight. You are driving envy crazy, but not doing much else good)

(lol oh goody that's what we wanted! It feels good to drive Envy crazy) Sparx was still suspiscous about the new arrival, but she trusted Tink in thinking that she was just another one from our side. Her thoughts turned to Envy, back at the Mayor's Office and she laughed to herself thinking about Envy hitting her head against the bars and shouting,"Great rainbow above, what is this madness?" She tried to focus on the danger ahead that they could get cought up in. If Tink were caught, she didn't know what she'd do. She had spent some time looking for Tink, and to have her be taken to the dungeons.... But if she were caught she had no idea what would happen. Would they kill her? Probably not. But then what would they want with her? The intrusion wouldn't happen 'til midnight, but she couldn't get it off her mind.

The time? Um, well, we feft "Bringing Envy to teh Mayor" to comne here. Prolly spent an hour looking for it. I can only hope it was after midnight by the time we started the music, that was my goal anyway. It should idealy start about the time Caliban and whatever-her-name-is head off to rescue Envy.

We were the children of '45 loaded like pistols and taught how to die we looked the enemy straight in the eye Through trenches dug in the back of mind I go over the top time after time me and the ones we left behind Now theres no fight left within me but the writing of this wrong as nations we're divided but as people we are one
Why did that song keep running through her head?> There was more. she knew that. She kenw one other thing. If they found her. if they killed her. She wouldn't go down without a fight. She would die singing a victory song.
(OOC: No I don't plan for her to die, but a determined character is always good right?)
