[Yay, I suck! *lol* ] "Will, I now?" Roux replied almost daring the other to attack first. The castle was about to fall down upon their heads, yet like a pair of fools neither one moved. Roux was unwilling to let the other escape, and he knew that Caliban was unwilling to let his 'coward' comment go. Which stubborn stallin would make the first move? Brown eyes stared at Caliban. He too was unmoving. Waiting to see if the other had any more tricks up his hoof.

Caliban growled - he was in pain and this pansy wasn't going to strike first. Fine. He would make the first move then.
Raising up on his good back legs, Caliban tettered over Roux, waiting to get just close enough to come down on the other. Falling down, he just missed the soft brown pony and hit the hard ground below instead - it was a bad move for his shoulder, and a worse move for the weak floor. He fell to the ground from the now shattered collarbone and shoulderblade, and felt the ground beneath him groan and give way, falling down a floor and landing with a large thump. The floor continued to give way around the new hole as tons of stone fell down on the broken blood-red body.
When the dust from the collapse cleared, a shaddowy red puddle of what looked like blood started to seep out from between the stone rubble. When it had gathered it raised up in the air like a ribbon laughing, and flew off to find the others.

Roux watched as Caliban reared, and fell. Dust stung brown eyes and threatened to choke him if he breathed to deeply. Coughing he waited for the dust to settle before inching closer to the hole Caliban had fallen through. Looking down all he could see was broken stones and splattered blood. The red evil was dead. Or least the body he had held was no longer able to help him in his evil quest.
Ears flattened against his head as he watched the stripe fly into the air to join the others that had left their bodies. A low growl escaped him as he watched Caliban leave.
Another stone falling reminded Roux that he too needed to leave the castle unless he wished the join the broken and battered body below. Turning sharply upon his heels he tore himself from the spot he had been glued and made his way to the door.
The castle creaked all around him as he ran. Side stepping more than one large chunk of ceiling he made his way to the castle's entrance.
[Cont. outside the castle as it crumbled.]
