"This is just degrading."
The golden pegasus smirked with half-closed eyes. The fact that a skilled criminal like Coon had been essentially captured by a cop who by no means was the brightest crayon in the box.
"I don't suppose I could have your number...you know, one phone call and all?"
To this comment, Jewel gave her best classy authoritative 'yeah right' expression she could manage. She tossed her purple-brown mane just to add insult to injury. No one had managed to get the mare quite so fired up in a long time, and Jewel was burning off excess anger and angst.

"Um...right then.," Coon stood with an unsurprised expression. Though, Coon enjoyed Jewel's reaction. What did they say? That one was beautiful when angry? Coon agreed to this statement.
"Visit me then.," the thief beamed, ready for Moe to begin to shift her off. Coon wasn't done just yet. She wasn't a skilled thief for nothing. If all else failed, she left quite an impression on Star Dasher. Who wasn't to say the mare wouldn't try breaking her out?
----
Peri Winkle's run turned into a light gallop. His ear turned to the sound of Jewel's cry. Instinctually forgetting Breezie for the moment, he came bounding in Jewel's direction and came to a hault beside her.
With the spring sun, one could see a glistening shine on his coat from the small layer of sweat that had built up on his body.

Breezie grinned to herself when Peri hurried away. Now she could handle this herself - she hated being treated like a kid, even though that's precisely what she was.
Now she increased her pace again(she had slowed a bit to talk to Peri) and focused ahead. She could see Dasher, and pushed herself to go faster as she closed in on her target.

Dasher´s ears pinned backwards as she heard Jewel let out a rather piercing whinny in the distance. Dasher turned her head, slightly, still running, to watch Peri run back to his girlfriend. She was deighted that she finally was let loose. But then an awfully horrible thought sruck her - Coon! What if the psychotic golden mare had taken him down? No, she could´nt turn to check - man, that would be suicide. She had to be satisfyed for getting the opportunity to flee herself. But hey - the hoofbeats was still at her back, now coming closer. Dasher tilted her head back again. Silly filly. She just won´t give up. Seems like I have to give her a little leson anyway. Running slowly, she let the youngster apparoach her - enough for Star Dasher to reach her with a slight kick of her hind-legs. And she kicked. Now, Dasher thought, there just cannot be anything to stop me. She pushed herself to the limit, made another quick turn and pushed her body upwards in a great jump over a high wooden fence. One of her forelegs hit the top of the fence. She fell on the ground on the other side, but rised swiftly and continued running.

Breezie watched Dasher slow down, but her hooves slipped on the slick ground as she tried to skid to a stop. Then she felt a hard kick knock her down.
If Dasher had stopped, maybe apologized and run away again, or fed Breezie some sob story it probably would have worked. But the young mare's mind just didn't work in a way that would let her get discouraged with a kick. Quite the opposite, in fact. Now the chase was on.
Breezie stood up, wobbled slightly, and then stared at the fence Dasher had disappeared over with fire in her eyes. "You're DEAD!" Breezie had gotten herself worked up now, and caused a small tornado to sweep aside the fence.
Now Dasher would see just what a irrational, reckless young mare could do.

"You´re DEAD" Dasher turned to see a small tornado ripping the fence out of the ground ((cause it did, did´nt it?)) The filly seemed to do quite well. Now it started to be irritating. Dasher felt the weakness - being chased by this youngster? Seems like the little fool does´nt want to give up yet! Star´s ears were still pinned towards her neck. "Snap out of it, filly!" She jumped up on a big dumpster, and from there attempted to jump onto a roof. On her way up, she knocked down a garbage can that was standing on the dumpster. Dasher succeded to get up on the roof, but she had to pull her body up with her forelegs. Just to make sure, Dasher rised her head to look back at the square, before looking down at Breezie. "Now listen, little girl; you know nothing of the life on the streets"

((Yup!))
Breezie scrambled over the fallen garbage can and onto the roof after Dasher. She didn't listen to a word the mare said - she was too young to be reasonable, and through with listening. She reared up onto her hind legs and leapt at Dasher, trying to pin her down.

((Gee I love Breezie )) The skinny mare watched how the annoying youngster came after her. Shaking the filly off, Dasher runned over the roof to leap onto another. Landing on the other side, she muttered: "Typical for kids at that age ... they belive they are the only ones to think and feel."

((Oooh thanks! She's probably my fav character that I play right now. Probably because I put a lot of my own traits into her. )) Breezie was still in a furious mood, but inwardly grinned at the excitement of a rooftop chase as she leapt after Dasher. Oooh - just like those cop shows!

Dasher was surprised to see the filly leap after her. How the ... geez. Do I have to knock her off the rooftop? It seemed like scaring Breezie was´nt ebough. Either way, Dasher attacked the filly. I got to force her to back off, anyway. Dasher made an atempt to push Breezie aside.

Breezie wasn't quite quick enough to see Dasher's attempt to push her aside, so it caught her off guard. The rooftop, still slightly damp from the last spring rain, was slippery under her hooves and Breezie felt herself sliding down towards the edge.
The young mare's hind legs slid off and she scrabbled around with her forelegs for a few brief moments in an attempt to regain her footing, but it did no good and before she knew it Breezie was falling from the rooftop onto the streets below.

"Visit me then.,"
The golden pegasus, coat gleaming in the sun, met Coon's yellow eyes with an uninterested, emotionless expression. As Peri neared, she arched her neck around to nuzzle the actor. She briefly took note of Peri's apparent physique, and smiled inwardly to herself. With ever-mischievious eyes, she kissed him on the cheek, "That was quick." She then nodded toward Coon, and said with a matter-of-fact tone, "Look what I caught."
"So, which one was it?" Moe asked, absently and with a nonchalant manner clasping the chains and cuffs around the theif's ankles. When Coon didn't reply, he continued, standing in front of her with a curious, yet so empty-headed, expression. "Your mom or dad? Who was the racoon?" One might have taken this offensively... if they didn't know he was serious.
"Peri.." Jewel leaned her forehead against the stallion's neck, closing her eyes, "Can we just, go to the River now? Or somewhere?" The pegasus was slightly tired out, and had started the day with the hopes of lounging around in the Outer Edges with her beloved.

Coon looked back at Jewel, and now Peri Winkle. She didn't hide the fact that she took a long glance at the gleaming stone on Peri's right hip. Smuggly, she turned her face back to the cop and looked thoughtful at his question.
Looking back to her family, Coon couldn't help but smile even bigger, despite her situation. It was still quite the game to her.
"To be honest, my father was a coon, and my dear mother was a deer. She skinned him a live leaving just his hide, which I promptly and boldly wear.," Coon's lips couldn't stretch any wider. Sometimes, she wondered where her genius came from.
Peri just shook his head. He wasn't in the mood for any riddles, poetry, or prose. He was just glad this villian had been aprehended. "Jewel, we need to go find that filli, I think she went after that other mare....and if she bit me, she could hurt the filli.," then, added, "And she crashed the scooter."

Moe simply looked at Coon and blinked. How amazing! But now was time for business--it wasn't every day (or, really, ANY day) that Moe actually had to do his job. He pushed all his questions aside, trying to be the tough cop now.
"Okay, Racoon Skin," He said, purely guessing at her name, "Let's go.. off to the Castle."
((cont there?))
Jewel looked up, wide-eyed. She had been so immersed in her pursuit, that she had managed to temporarily forget about the day's previous events. The pegasus was suddenly alert, though a bit tired, and ready for business again.
"She bit you??" Jewel gently turned Peri's head to investigate his neck. It was a small wound, that would probably bruise. But still.. some foolish filly had bitten her beau! I'll show her firsthoof how to leave a -proper- bite wound, the mare thought, more aggitated than anything. She softly kissed the bite mark, softly saying something to the extent of "you poor thing."
Then there was the scooter. Both these mares needed to be caught, and since they seemed far from professionals, it wouldn't be too hard.

Dasher was sightly surprised to see that Breezie was actually falling. But she did not have time to stay and watch. The young thief leaped onto another rooftop, and then onto another. Jumping of the roof herself, she landed in the bushes in the alley below. She could have stayed there, if she was´nt that blasted purple. And it was spring, too, so the leaves of the bushes was´nt about to come yet. Dasher contiuned running, now heading towards the forest. She felt dizzy about all feelings that struck her - Coon was a thief, too! That made her feel helpless hope. But perhaps Coon was caught. She had bitten Peri, too - and perhaps that did not help Coon at all. That made her feel bitter and slightly regreting. And so there was Breezie - she was just a filly after all. Dasher sighed. Swiftly she moved through the alleys, her tail flowing.
