Wing Song's ears flattened out more and she took a moment to gather her thoughts, determined to keep to her regal appearance, despite the uneasy feeling that was steadily building up. Even so, she didn't make much effort to hide the annoyance in her tone as she answered, "Mookie - it's Mookie. And yes, I'm afraid that we were seperated a few minutes ago, and I seem to be looking for him in all the wrong places."
The mare was going to start off again after this, but - for her own sake, if nothing else - she couldn't just leave the situation so open-ended. "...Oh, but Rogue - you still haven't said quite how you know your other...friend here." She nodded in Angel's direction, hoping that if Rogue wasn't going to answer, perhaps the mare would for herself.

The pegasus looked at Wing Song. "The name's Angel. And I'm Rogue's girlfriend. It's a pleasure to meet you." Said Angel, even though Rogue had already introduced them to each other. Is this mare a little deaf or something? The mare thought. She then realized that Wing Song added more to her sentence, and quickly forgot about what she had just been thinking of Wing Song.
Her mind then focused on the name Mookie. She hadn't heard it before. "Sorry, no, I haven't heard of Mookie before." She replied. "But I hope you find him!"

((I meant to get across that he had been very vague on their relationship, and she was more asking after that than name - but I guess it wasn't too clear. In any case, I'll edit it.))
"I'm Rogue's girlfriend."
Wing Song stared blankly at Angel, her mouth hanging open slightly in shock(and what her mother would have considered to be a very unladylike fashion). She wondered if she'd already figured it out in the back of her mind, or if that was just an excuse she was making for missing something so incredibly obvious. The mare was aware that Angel had said something else, but none of it registered.
"...Oh. Right. I mean, congratulations. That is, about being his...his girfriend. Uh, I mean...yes. Right. Great...for you. For him. For both of you. Really. That's just, uh, great..." Had the queen been present, she would have nearly fainted from her daughter's last statement. Wing Song had always been expected to use very precise language, and would have felt considerably guilty at her total failure in that respect if she hadn't been too flustered to even take note of it.
The mare turned to the side, picking up a front hoof and letting it hang uncertainly in the air. "Well then...I should just, uh...find Mookie. Right. Yes. I have to find him, after all." She gave a small, unconvincing laugh. "So I might see you two around, then...I should...uh...yes, I should go-" She had hardly let out the last word when she turned around and took off at a run - blushing, she was sure, more obviously than when she had first recognized the stallion.
((Cont. elsewhere, I think...must find Mookie.))

Poppy had been through a lot, including being shaken off by three different "Rogues" after she had made it to town. Finally, she laid eyes on her latest Rogue, forgetting the others for the moment and managing to dig up the memory that he had been upset with her.
"Rogue!", she cried out, flying to him top-speed. She aimed for his mane and grabbed onto it as a stopping mechanism, letting the hair snap her back to a stationary position and she went ahead with, "I found you! You aren't still angry with me, are you?"

((Ok, edited my last post! ^-^))
The purple mare smiled at Wing Song. "Well, if you're ok with that. Um, if you need us to help you find Mookie, you let us know, ok?" She asked politely. "It was very nice meeting you." The pegasus wasn't mad at the other mare. Why would she be, anyway? Wing Song and Rogue were just friends, and Angel was ok with that. Angel started to think that now her and Wing Song were friends now, too. "Well, good luck with finding Mookie, bye!" She called as Wing Song left.
She turned to see Poppy flying to Rogue and landing on him. The pegasus sighed. Not again! She tried to think about what Rogue said to her earlier, saying that Angel was his girlfriend, and that she was his, and that she'll always be his. The mare smiled, remembering his kind, sweet words to her. She decided not to say anything to the breezie. She just ignored it for the time being.

Rogue watched Wing Song stammer - and blush. Oh, dear. He recognised the signs well. This meant he would have indeed had a shot with her. How was it that he managed to make such an impression on mares?
Of course he managed it. It was what he was born for. He smiled inwardly at the thought and corrected his forelock a bit.
He had to let Wing Song go, of course. There was nothing he could say in that situation. He did mark the event closely in his mind, however.
Hardly was Wing Song gone when another past acquaintance appeared, and Rogue had no more time to think about Wing Song. Rogue let out a little yowl when Poppy reappeared and grabbed his mane. Her question nearly went past him as he tried to recoup from the tug of pain. Then he glowered at the little creature sulkily.
"I'm not sure," he said a little darkly.

The pegasus could tell now that Poppy would be sad, if Rogue was mad at her. Angel felt power building up in her. She hoped that soon her and Rogue could leave soon, so Rogue could take her home. But she had a feeling that Poppy would try to keep them from leaving. The pegasus, however, wouldn't put up with the breezie's stupid remarks any longer. She waited for the breezie's response before saying anything.

Poppy's antennas drooped, along with her ears. "Oh, but I came to apologize!" The breezie shot a glance at Angel and added, "...to you."
She flew in random squiggles around his head as she went on, "You're my Rogue, and I just want to make you happy, and I don't even know what I did wrong, really! I'm just trying to be good, like you said - just like you said!" The little creature slowed and came to hover just in front of his nose. "And if I ever found out that I was making you sad, and I was being a bad little breezie, and my Rogue didn't want me anymore, I'd...I'd..."
Poppy looked around. She wanted to say something drastic, so the stallion knew she meant it. She looked a ways down the street and she pointed a front hoof in that direction, looking back at Rogue. "I'd throw myself in the fountain!" She put a hoof over her heart and nodded, confiming in a solemn tone that sounded very odd with her small voice, "And I really mean it, no lie."

Something inside Rogue moved a little again at the little creature's solemness. Well, she could be a nice little creature when she wanted to be. He had to admit that he kind of liked her - in that pet sort of a way. He would have preferred it if she would have buzzed about Tramp's head instead of his, but he was sure he'd manage that eventually. All he needed to do was find Tramp, and then somehow give him and the breezie the slip, and eventually she would fix herself on Tramp again, he was sure of it.
He wasn't counting in the fact that the breezie didn't nearly always work within the laws of predictability.
Rogue had to smile, nevertheless, when the breezie apologised and made her oaths. He was sure she would forget about them soon after, but it was touching in its own silly way.
"There now," he said. "Fine, I'm not angry with you anymore. Just make sure you behave well now. Be nice to Angel." He looked at Angel, smiling to her. "Well then, shall we, my dear? I do seem to remember the Celebration Castle is that way." He nodded his head toward the road that would lead to the castle.

The pegasus knew Poppy didn't really mean it when she said she'd apologize to Angel. She knew it wasn't true, and she knew that Poppy probably still hated Angel. But, the pegasus decided to play along. "Well then, I guess I apologize, too." She said to the breezie.
She listened to what Rogue said, about Poppy needing to be nice to Angel. The purple pegasus knew Poppy wouldn't listen to that part. She knew Poppy wouldn't be nice to Angel, if she hated her. But Angel wondered if Poppy had really changed. The pegasus decided to wait and see....
She smiled at Rogue. "Yes, sweetie, I believe it is." She said. She loved it when Rogue called her his dear. She definately was his. And he was hers. She knew they were meant to be, she just knew it. And she couldn't help blushing when Rogue spoke to her. She just loved his voice, it sounded so handsome-like. Angel felt lucky to have a stallion like him. She hoped that they would never break up. She loved him too much.
