Rootbeer Float flew threw the air like she had never done before. She went as quick as she could, passing threw the forests, threw the clouds, and over the mountains. She passed Dream Valley, and then the Frienship Gardens. She didn't know where she was going, she didn't know how to get there, all she knew is that her heart would lead her.
Rootbeer Float soared over the oceans, and over the seas. She passed cities, and homes of humans. She was in another realm now, a totally different place. The air was different, the noises were different. This place was wierd. This place wasn't pure like the place she was raised and lived in, this place had no rainbows.
She saw strange metallic monsters that would scream at eachother on blackend roads, but what was strange of all was that she saw humands inside the monsters, and those humans seemed to control the monsters. They controlled the monsters angrilly, and violently. 'These are humans?' she thought to herself. She was so suprised and shocked at how humans acted. From all the stories she heard about Megan, she thought they would at least be nice.
But, then, she felt it, she was drawn to it. It was warmth, it felt like home again. Her heart pulled her closer to this place. She didn't know what it was, but she felt alive, more alive than she had ever felt. She felt power, great power. It was a high, she wanted more of it. And there it was. There were no words to express what she was feeling right then at that moment. She just felt..Immortal.
Rootbeer Float landed softly on the house. The house was beautiful and magnificent, it stood tall above a cove. The waves splashed at the bottom of the cove's small beach. She looked down in the other direction, into a yard, where two boys played.
"Come on Anna!" One of the boys shouted.
"Yeah, Anna, hurry up, or we're gonna be late for the first day of school." the other boy yelled.
Atleast something sounded familar to Rootbeer Float, the word 'school'. For Rainbow's sake, she hated school. She heard a noise. Singing? She wasn't sure. She walked acrossed the roof of the house, it creaked loudly and she stopped, dead in her tracks. She waited a few seconds, and then continued to walk. Yes, it was singing. It was beautiful, like a angel. She finally reached the edge of the roof. She jumped down, and quickly caught herself, and started to flap her wings. She hovered there, and looked through a large glass door. White curtains blew in the breeze. She saw a figure move, and ducked below the balcony the windows led to. She then slowly moved up, and landed on the small balcony, her hooves clattered.
The singing stopped. Rootbeer Float froze. 'Did the singing angel hear?' She thought to herself. But then, the singing began up again. Rootbeer Float just stood there, listening. She slowly walked towards the music, it inticed an enchated her, The curtains ran over her body. She entered a room, a pink room. There in the middle of the room, a girl sat in a small chair. She seemed to be putting something on her eyes. The girl gasped, and dropped a small piece of plastic. Rootbeer Float knew it was because of her. Rootie could see herself in the mirror, and so could the girl. The girl bolted around, and quickly went for the door. Rootbeer Float took a step forward.
"Wait!" Rootie begged. "Where are you going?"
The girl stopped. She turned slowly around. "You're one of them." She spoke softly. She tucked her hair behind her ears. "My mom has told me so many stories about you.."
Rootbeer Float stood there. She was confused.
"You need my help, right?"
Rootbeer Float was shocked. "Y-yes..But, how did you know?"
The girl ran over to Rootbeer Float, and wrapped her arms around her neck. She let go, and backed away. "My name's Arianna, but you can call me Anna!" The girl smiled greatly. Her whole attitude had changed from surprised, to ecstatic.
Rootbeer Float giggled. "I'm Rootbeer Float, but you can call me Rootie." She said as she watched the girl take a pink backpack, and empty it, hen fill it back up with clothes. "My mom always told me that if any talking pony ever came to me, for me to go back with her to her home." Arianna smiled at Rootie, and put the backpack on. She jumped atop Rootbeer Float, and said. "Let's ride."
