(Time: Early Morning)
Razz was so intent upon his inner conversation with Silverfall that it was a good hike before he realized he hadn't been paying attention to where Chief had wandered off to.
Uh oh.
"Um, did you see which way he went?"
"Who?" Silverfall asked.
"That other pony."
"Oh, I guess I was just following you."
Well, I think we're lost then. Oh, wait! I know! I can look for him with my mind!
"Are you sure?"
I can try.

"Gosh, Razz," Silverfall whispered, almost to herself. "This gift seems to come quite naturally to you, even if it is a gift guided by the Great Rainbow itself."

((occ: I'm kind of lost, but I'm just following you.))
Silver Shadow was walking a fair distance behind them, quietly. He didn't care if they noticed him or not, especially after the meeting with the other ponies. Now was the perfect time to think about what had been happening. He frowned slightly when he realised the pair had stopped and walked up to them.
"What is wrong?" Obvious, I think we are lost from the group... He shrugged and stood silently. "I hope you don't mind me being here..."

"No, of course we don't mind you being here," Silverfall said rather emphatically. She was thinking of the great power the other stallion possessed. She had a deep respect for that kind of power. She thought of him like an equal.
"Did you feel it?" Razz pranced up and down as he looked at Silver Shadow. "Did you? I sent her thoughts right from her to you. Did you hear it? I think I'm actually pretty good at this."
But Silverfall was flattening her ears.

"Then, I admit I am glad you don't mind my company." Silver Shadow couldn't help but smile at the pair of them. "And yes. I did hear it." He replied to Razzaroo's question.
However, he didn't quite understand why Silverfall was flattening her ears. He watched her carefully, tilting his head slightly. "Is there something wrong, Silverfall?" He asked her quietly.

"I think someone has to learn some boundaries when using his newfound powers," Silverfall said grumpily. "Not every private thought we have needs to be broadcasted to the group."
Razz blushed.
"Which reminds me, now that Razz has this ability to read our minds at will, we shall have to keep our thoughts on guard," she continued. "It will be a simple discipline for you, Silver Shadow. I'm sure you've done this sort of thing with your companions. It's the equivalent of forming a mental barrier around your most personal thoughts. You, Razz, will have to learn to recognize that wall and respect the boundary."
"But I can still read your mind if I want to?"
"Yes. Only the greatest mentalists would be able to prevent you from entering their thoughts and even then you would probably get through, but perhaps be caught up in a vast mental maze. But remember, just because you have the ability to do something, doesn't mean you should do it."
"Got it."
"Not everyone will be able to do this, though," Silverfall admitted. "Only those with mental stamina. Try to keep that in mind before you go prying on the weak-minded."
"Well, I would never do that!"
"Power is a great thing, Razz, but it is easily corrupted by our own natures. Great Rainbow or not, we are all capable of it."
But Razz was only half-aware of her words. "Wait, I think I hear something." Razz concentrated. "It's Chief. Come one, they're over this way." He bounded away into the woods.

Silver Shadow chuckled. "I was thinking about that. You have to learn to respect the territory of others, Razz. Many would think that their thoughts are safe from others, and they would like to keep them private... and yes, I would be able to do that. I've used it before..."
Silver Shadow nodded at the remark Silverfall made about power. It was true. Sighing slightly, he silently followed Razz to the other group. He saw it as no rush.
