The jet black alicorn wrapped the black cloak around his body tightly. His wings were also held tightly to his body; they were stiff and ached to be used. He breathed in the morning air. It was cool and fresh, a sign that it was early winter. He smiled. He was on time afterall.
"Are you sure this is the place?" asked a voice in the alicorn's mind. He turned around to look at the completely cloaked figure behind him and smiled.
"I'm sure it is Master," He replied. "I know she has to be here. She said she was in Ponyville and it looks exactly like I saw it in her dreams, without the layers of white of course." He said looking over the land.
"Of course you are sure Dream Chaser. I can tell that you're eager to see Ponyville..." Even though the black alicorn couldn't see anything behind the black hood that covered his master's face, he knew that he was smiling. The cloaked figure walked over to his apprentice's side, though it almost seemed as though he was actually gliding. The ends of black cloak moved and flowed smoothly and gently over the white snow, and they leaved no imprints or hoofprints on the snow like Dream Chaser did.
"I'll travel with you for a short time before I depart." He murmured quietly in Dream Chaser's mind.
"You don't have to, Master." Dream Chaser said smiling. "I can take care of myself." His master didn't say anything to that, but Dream Chaser could tell that he was smiling. Dream Chaser's master backed away and continued walking. Dream Chaser glanced at the Ponyville one more time before following his master.
(( Dreamer's Master is only going to be a temp for the time being. And he's not evil or anything ^-^))

Dream Chaser walked out in front of the black cloaked figure, humming out some cheery song. Their black cloaks stood out well against the white snow, and just seeing the snow reminded him of one of the many reasons why he was going to Ponyville.
"It will be good to celebrate the Festival of Lights with an old friend again." He said to his companion. "It feels like a long time since I last celebrated the occassion. I hope it hasn't changed or anything."
The cloaked figure nodded. "I doubt it." Said the voice in Dream Chaser's mind. "This occassion is very special to you and yours. Traditions rarely change anyway..."
"True." Dream Chaser looked at the cloaked figure again. Only several times had he seen behind all that black, but he doubted his master would reveal himself here, especially if a pony from Ponyville appeared from no where, though Dream Chaser knew that his master would know before they did meet another. Smiling to himself he continued making his way down the mountains with his master close behind.

"Do you know where to find this friend of yours?" Asked the voice.
"Huh? Oh, yeah." Dream Chaser snapped out of his thoughts. "She shouldn't be too hard to find. She told me of friends and places to check out, and I can just scry for her or something later on anyway." He said. "Well, I might head to the Cafe first anyway. I'm feeling rather peckish and Moon Crystal is most likely to be there anyway."
"You sound very certain." His Master murmured.
"Well, I know she likes her food. And If she's not ther, a friend of hers would be there." He said. They were close to reaching the foot of the mountain.

Finally, they both reached the foot of the mountain at last. Dream Chaser looked around, seeking for any strangers. Lucky for him none where in his view. His master came down beside him, sniffing the air and then sighing.
"Master?" Dream Chaser asked. "Where will you be going?"
The black cloaked figure stood silently for sometime before Dream Chaser heard his master's words in his mind. "I will be going to another land and keep an eye out for my brother, my friend and my enemy." The voice said. "Something bad is going to happen to them all and same with an elemental."
"Elemental?" Dream Chaser frowned. " Didn't you say the four Elemental Goddesses of Fewa where in trouble?"
"Yes, but did I also say the same about their fifth? No I did not then, but I do now."
Dream Chaser frown deepened. "How long will you be away for?"
"I do not know. His master said. You cannot predict time correctly; you must let it go at its own pace. But I will return as soon as I am allowed. They began walking away from he moutains and into the white covered forests.

As they continued their walk through the forest, Dream Chaser occassional found himself singing where as his master remained silent. The few animals that dared to wander outside on the snow, came up to greet them, taking their places by the cloaked figures side or Dream Chaser's back. Dream Chaser grinned.
"Well, the animals here seem very friendly, no doubt they don't fear ones such as ourselves." A little bird of blue perched himself on the tip of Dream Chaser's horn.
"Do you know what they say?" He asked.
"Yes I do. But it isn't much to tell. They only speak of the residents here spending their time on the snow or in their houses." The voice murmured in Dream Chaser's mind. "They also say they can't wait until it is spring again."
"Ah yes." Dream Chaser said. "Typical of them to think that. Food is afterall less scarce, and the sun is nice to have on your back."
((hehehe, they are just rambling O.o won't be long))

((Till I send off his Master, though I like the pair of them travelling together. =^-^= Yeah ok.))
"We are close to the forests edge." Dream Chaser said after sometime. They stopped. The animals around them scattered because they were so close to the edge. The Black Alicorn turned around to look at his master, some of his red hair covering his right emerald green eye.
"And here I leave you." The voice said in Dream Chaser's mind. "Are you sure you will be alright?"
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me, its you I should be worried about... no, make that those who stray in your way." Dream Chaser grinned.
The voice of his master in the alicorns mind laughed. "You know me well, young one. Do take care of yourself and remember to practise what I have taught you and excerise your abilities. I expect them to have improved when I return." Dream Chaser sensed a smile coming from his master.
"Yes. I will. I'll practise them daily at night and keep a day aside devoted to my learning each week." Dream Chaser sighed with a grin. "But you'll let me enjoy me time here, right?"
"You are a good student, Dream Chaser, and of course I will let you. Take care and say hello to your friend for me." The cloaked figure began to take a few soundless, careful steps back, the cloak beginning to tear away slowly though it still rippled in its own private breeze. Bits of the material broke lose and fluttered around the cloaked figure as though the wind spirits decided to pick them up and dance around the standing black figure with the material in their tiny hands.
"I will, Master." Dream Chaser bowed his head, his master doing so in return. What happened to his master next, happened quickly. The cloak suddenly fell to the ground as though there had been no one wearing it, though before it hit the floor a silver white strange bird darted out from under the cloak of black and took to the skys, fading away before it was outside the forests canopy, just like a ghost or a spirit. Dream Chaser watched after it. The cloak on the floor had now faded away completely...
"Goodbye..." Dream Chaser thought after his master. He looked at the spot where his master had once stood; no signs of his presence where left behind, not one gentle print on the snow was left behind from Dream Chaser's master. It was almost as though that cloaked Master of Dream Chaser was never there, but Dream Chaser knew better than to think that.
Sighing, the alicorn turned around and galloped out into the brillant white opening, his wings stretched out and his cloak and rainbow-coloured hair blowing with the wind. In spite of the fact that his master was not with him, he was smiling and laughing for now he could do what every he pleased for as long as time and his Master would allow.
((very hasty...))

Themis soared in the sky. The wind blowing threw her long, beautiful hair. It was bright above the clouds, down below, you could hardly even see the sun, but you knew it was there.
She brought her head down, and then thrust it backwards, her hair flowing all over her body. She let the cool breeze blow over her body, and despite it being winter, it was rather warm. She loved this feeling, this feeling of being free.
The wind blew harder, and colder, and almost stung her skin. She looked down below. Clouds. That's all she could see, or maybe it was the grown covered in snow? She didn't know which, but whatever was below her, she flew towards it, it was getting too chilly to be up here. The wind blew again, and Themis tried to control it as much as she could, but it didn' help much. It began to snow, and she had now realized she was inside of a cloud. She could barely see, white haze covering her eyes. She stopped flapping her wings, and let her body fall towards the ground.
Not a smart idea. The wind picked up, and turned her upside down. She couldn't control her wings, and worst of all, she couldn't control the wind. She tumbled, and struggled threw the air. Finally, after struggling like what seemed to be forever, she rolled back over, and tried to flap her wings.
Useless.
She began to tumble faster and faster towards the ground. She could see now, she was out of the clouds. The wind was blowing hard, in all directions, snow stung her eyes, and she yelped. She could see the trees, they were coming in close, she tried to maintain a steady path, but it wasn't going as planned. Finally, she spread her wings, and soared threw the forest.
Her right wing hit a tree branch, scrathing it, and probably breaking it. She yelped again, and then ran into another tree, this time hitting her belly. She tumbled threw the air, and finally ome out into a clearing. She screamed, and saw a dark pony. She screamed. "Move out of the way!" She shouted, but it was too late.
Crash.
She tumbled all over top of the stallion. Snow coering both of them. She moaned and rolled onto her left side. "Ow.." She moaned again.

Dream Chaser didn't pay any attention to the pegasus in the sky. He was having far too much fun running around, leaping into the air, rolling in the snow; such activities reminded him of when he was but a tiny little foal.
Grinning, he got up and started to walk away until he heard the scream and a voice telling him to move away. He spun around and looked at the pegasus flying towards him in shock and surprise.
"What the-" he started, but before he knew it she crashed into him. "Oof!"
The next thing he knew, was that he was covered in snow. Dream Chaser chuckled. He heard the pegasus nearby and force his legs to stand him up. Once up, he shook the snow out of his mane and tail and gave his wings a few small flaps. His cloak was now slightly damp, but he didn't mind that much. Actually, he was grinning. He turned to the pegasus, and studied her for any injuries. She seems alright... wow. She very pretty...
"Are you alright, Miss?" Dream Chaser asked polietly. He offered a hoof to help her up, his wings were slightly stretch out as though ready.

Themis moaned again as Dream Chaser spoke to her. "Er.." She moaned again, and tried to stand up, but failed, anf fell back. "I hurt.." She said, her grammer for some odd reason terrible. She tried to stand up again, and almost fell back down again, but caught herself, and steadily stood up.
She looked at Dream Chaser, and her eyes shot open. "Alicorn.. She muttered. Her great-great grandmother was a alicorn! She had never seen one in person, she was shocked, he was stunning. "I think I'm fine." She tried to stretch her wings, and let out a scream. "My wing! I think it's broke..Or, something.."
She cringed again, and looked up at Dream Chaser. Snow was in her mane, she shook it, then snapped her tail, the snow cascading off of it.
She finally took his hoof in hers. "Thanks.." She said while blushing.

He smiled at her. "Hey, no problem. By the way, my name's Dream Chaser."
He eyed her injuried wing. It didn't look too well and her reaction wasn't good either.
"We better take you to a healer or a doctor to check your wing just incase it is damaged. You can still walk, right?" He turned his head in the direction of the town. "Do you know any healers in Ponyville which we can go see?"

Themis struggled a little and took a small step. "Yeah, I can walk.." She said while wincing. She looked at her wing, it looked alright, but who knew? She began to walk more.
"Healers?" She thought, was anyone a healer, and then it hit her. "Ms. Hoofspen!" She said with a giggle.
"Ow.." She said after giggling. "Laughing hurts.." She looked back at the area where she had landed, no blood. She looked over herself, no blood. That's good. "Oh.." She said blushing. "Sorry, I'm rude, my name's Themis." She said with a grim smile.

Dream Chaser grinned.
"It's nice to meet you Themis." He said. "You better go see this Ms. Hoofspen since she's a healer. I'm sure she'll know what to do. I'll come with you since I'm visiting the town anyway, and it would be great to meet new ponies."
He stood by Themis, his wings wrapped close to his body. "Lean on me for support ok?" He said to her. "It might make walking a bit easier so you can keep balance, though I doubt there is much I can do to reduce the pain. Now, do you know where we can find her?"

Themis leaned into him, it hurt like heck, it burned her wing, but she still did it anyways, just for the support. She chuckled at him.
"Nice to meet you, too.." She said with a smile, and then went on to talk about Kailani. "Last time I saw her, she was in the nursery, but who knows.." She winced, a random pain shooting through her wing. She kept up right the best she could.
"You're not from around here, are you?" She asked Dream Chaser.

"Well we better go check out the nursery." He said as they slowly made their way to Ponyville ((were they walking?)).
"Nah, I'm not. It will be my first time in Ponyville." Dream Chaser said. "I come from Dream Valley and I lived there most of my life. But I've taken up travelling to different places for the past years so I don't live there anymore, and I doubt I will ever again. You must be from around here, since you know of someone who lives there. Am I right?"
