A swirl of black smoke drifted up from the ground, growing larger and larger, until a pony appeared standing there in a flash of black light. The stallion was dark from eartip to tail. His star-colored eyes watched the forest around him, looking for any who might be watching his arrival. Only the birds and the rabbits and the butterflies were out, unless one counted the elementals that peeped from their hiding places. Of course, only few could count them, for only few could see them.
Aellesar turned to the bird on his shoulder.
"All seems well," he said.

The silverish white bird raised his head and nodded after some time.
Yes indeed...He commented to Aellesar. Though the presence of beings other than the normal pony seem to linger in this land still... I remember little of it from before when I had last visited in the winter...
Where will we go? To look for your student now?

Aellesar was distracted by Seer's comment about the land and the ponies dwelling there. He felt naked without the all-deep knowing of the Mystic, but there was yet some hint of it under his skin. If he concentrated, he could sense what Seer surely sensed, though he could not fully identify it.
Strange. It would not do to dwell on it, though. Yes, I must find my apprentice. I must at least try to speak with her. I've a good mind where to start, too. That place where she stays with that pony. The silly one. In his mind was a mental image of Razz and Razz's shop, which he shared.

The silly one? Seer thought about any ponies that fitted a similar description and the image. Yes, Razzaroo. Dreamer spoke of the kindly, but goofy, stallion. He saw the image of the shop also, and nodded. Ahh that one. Do you know where to find the shop though?

Aellesar nodded. Indeed, he had been to the shop before.
"You may ride with me," he said as he began walking.
----\\
They had reached the end of the woods when Aellesar drew up at the open fields that lay between the forest and Ponyville. He scanned the skies as they suddenly grew darker.
"A storm," he said, alarmed.

The bird decided to remain where he was when Aellesar began to move. Today, he felt more tired than usual, and he found it a relief to be spared the trouble of flying.
Seer looked up at what seemed to trouble the stallion, the darkening sky made him feel slightly uncomfortable. It was an ill omen to him. We should hurry then... He said to Aellesar.
Just as he said that, two silver sylphs with eyes of pale blue appeared before them. They seemed relieved for a moment, before rushing over to Aellesar. Grabbing a handful of his dark hair, they pulled violently at his mane, pointing in the direction of Ponyville. They looked up at him pleadingly; something worried them.
They want us to go to Ponyville. Seer said. Its important they say... Somethings happened to your student.

Aellesar wasted no time. He galloped toward Ponyville.
