(I guess I'll go ahead and make it...)
Time: Night
"There they were...all alone in the dark forest...and no one knew where they were." Razz was telling the ghost story as he tended the blaze of the campfire. There was an open bag of marshmallows on the ground beside him. "They could hear crying. It was a soft whimpering and a rustling in the bushes. It was coming closer...and closer..."
He was leaning over the fire, allowing it to illuminate his face.
"And closer...until suddenly..."
"BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK!!!"
Bandit leapt out of the darkness to (maybe) startle the foals and jumped over the fire. Razz laughed heartily.

"WAAAAH!" Mesmira jumped back a foot when Bandit jumped out of the bushes. Then she studied him for a bit. She'd never seen a dog in person before...but she didn't entirely like how noisy they could be, particularly at the climax of a scary campfire story.

Unlike most dogs, Bandit didn't appear to have a tail, so he wagged his whole butt with happy doggy excitement.
Sky Feathers had practically wet herself. She fell over on the ground and laughed herself silly.

When Bandit jumped out of the bushes, Sherbet screamed, tried to backup and fell over the log she had been sitting on, and took the foal next to her down with her as she scrambled for stability. When she realized it was just Bandit she laughed, albeit a little nervously. The little Explosion had much too big an imagination for her own good.

The advantage to being able to see auras is that they are just as bright in the dark - brighter even - so Karma had seen Bandit crouching in wait at the edge of the circle long before he ever jumped. She laughed as the majority of the children screamed and jumped back and then pat the little pup on the back with a smile.

The foal that Sherbet took down with her was none other than Harvest Moon. He hadn't shrieked, but it took the fall to knock him out of his petrified state. He slowly got to his feet, straining to keep his wings from trembling. "Silly dogs," he mumbled as he sat back down, not even bothering to brush off the dirt. "Silly grown ups..."

Loo yawned outloud. She was´nt scared at all. She was so tired, she barely could listen to the story. You have to stay awake, she told herself. It´s now when all fun starts... But it was´nt easy for the little one to stay awake. Also, she kept thinking of her sister, who still could be alive out there. Did she dare to hope so? "Do we got any Marsch-ma-ellouws?" She said to Razz, fluttering with her arms. Those white stuff...what they now was called.

A puff of smoke exploded from the fire as Dark fiped in the air, landing next to Karma with a smirk. He so enjoyed showing off... He turned to Karma then, grinning ear to ear. "Your really hard to track down, you know that?" He was happy on the outside, but his aura spoke of something darker. Being around Karma helped him to at least know how to alter his aura to some extents, namely enough to get points across to her. He threw two bags of marshmellows to Razz. "Keep the kids happy for a sec, will ya Razz? I need to speak with Karma alone for a bit."
"He's back." That was all he said to her before he had left. He seemed to melt away into the darkness, leading her to a clearing.

Meera was finally calming down when Dark made his entrance and she gave another jump and squeak. Her heart was racing now, and she felt a little sick - too much noise. Too much stress. She didn't like always being on her toes.

"Well after that scooter ride anyone would be hard to track down," Karma said cautiously, noting the colors of her boyfriend's aura. Most couple threw glances, they threw colors.
"He's back."
Karma tried desperately to think of who "he" might be, but having been surrounded by all the kids the only face she could picture was her daughter, and then Chakra. She knew he couldn't be back, Kail told her he was dead, but he still frightened her nonetheless.
Taking a moment to calm her colors, Aura turned her silver eyes to her mate and waited for him to explain.

Harvest Moon was just as unhappy at Dark's enterance, and in fact would have probbaly tried to kick Dark, only he'd ended up on the ground again. He got up with a grunt. "No more scaring," he said firmly. Screw being grown-up...he didn't like being startled all the time, so he was going to say something!

However, a few seconds later Dark appeared, and this time Loo was strattled. "Waah!" She jumped into the air and took cover behind the other foals. The stallion was so big. Honoulu was´nt sure she liked him. She looked shyly at the other foals, hoping to catch someone´s glimpse.
"No more scaring," said a baby flutter firmly.
Honoulu Loo had not noticed him before. But she totally agreed.

Razz jumped at the appearance of Dark. Concerned, he grabbed the marshmallow bags and watched the pair walk off. He wanted to say something, but of course did not.
"Um, here, Loo," he said, distracted. He was actually giving the bag to Sherbert, but he didn't realize it.

Dark met Karma's eyes with his neon green orbs. "Piston." He knew that name would speak endless volumes on it's own, and not many in a good way. Last chance he had to sit with her, he explained how he had freed the stallion from his own creation's taint; He mentioned how he had fled to find peace with himself, and to redeem his sins. Still, that didn't stop the Ninja from worrying. Soul Edge, the soul eatting Demon Sword, had also left it's mark; The socket where his eye used to be was black as night now, and would never heal. It was his mark of shame.
Looking up at her, he told her about the chapel he saw, and of the homage to the Rainbows it held dearly. "I don't want to worry you Karma, but I say we go and see for ourselves if he's changed at all."

Mesmira looked over at Harvest Moon. "I hope things aren't always this...exciting." She liked excitement, but only to an extent. And the heart-attack kind of excitement wasn't the kind she liked. She was beginning to wish she hadn't gone to the nursery for a place to stay. She was fine on her own, and she didn't really feel safe outside alone all the time, but was confident she could have made it to the next town. She still could make it...it was so crowded, who would notice anyway?

Loo frowned. Shrugging inwards, she got a stick from the ground and prepared to roast the marshmallows. Razz suddenly seemed distracted. Busy? The little pegasus looked around at the other foals. She hoped that they wanted to share with her.
