(cont. from the Rainbow River)
The purple pegasus flew through the night sky. A soft breeze came and blew her long, light purple mane around freely. Angel felt like she was floating on air. She saw the moon high in the sky, and smiled sweetly at it. She then decided to land.
After she landed, she looked up at the moon, and smiled again. She felt like singing,
"Midnight Not a sound from the pavement Has the moon lost her memory? She is smiling alone In the lamplight The withered leaves collect at my feet And the wind begins to moan
Memory All alone in the moonlight I can smile at the old days I was beautiful then I remember the time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again"
After she finished singing her song, another soft breeze found it's way towards her, and it blew her mane around again. Angel slowly closed her eyes and let the breeze play with her long mane. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes again and looked up at the moon. She smiled at it. She looked around her, and decided to head home. (cont. at the castle)

OOC: Hopefully it isn't too much of a stretch to pretend that the above occurred only a few moments ago. ^~;
The evening breeze slapped at his back, and in gratitude the green shire dropped atop the long, cool grasses. Allowing himself to rest from his travels, he briefly considered how much longer it should take to reach Ponyville. Pausing, suddenly, he pulled his ears erect. Was that a voice? Sitting up, he studied the purple-tressed pegasus before she ascended into the night. Glancing slightly to the left, he saw a few lights in the distance: Ponyville. Standing, a renewed energy rushed through him. Breaking into a heavy gallop, he suspected he'd be there by morning ...
(Continued in Ponyville.)
