Drummer walked down the street, just blocks away from his house. Rain had just stopped falling and smoke rose above the homes just a few streets down. When Drummer noticed the smoke and that it was coming from what looked like his street, he ran quickly toward his home.
He rounded the corner and saw a disturbing site.
He stopped dead in his tracks. "Mm...m...my house...." he managed to say. There in front of him, where his house had once stood, was a skeleton of a home. Burnt two by fours, blackened, half hanging sheetrock, smouldering rubble. The house next to his was the same. The next four houses were burnt, but not as badly.
Smoke was still rising and a few small flames still licked at what remained. He stepped closer and much to his sadness, he saw his pride and joy, his Pearl drumset, blackened and burnt sitting in the corner of what used to be his living room.
He wished he was still at the cafe, in ignorant bliss. All he could do was just stare for a few moments. Then he began walking. Just walking, with no particular destination in mind.

Wysteria hesitantly approached her neighborhood. The rainclouds from earlier were clearing, and smoke was dispersing up into the air. She gulped loudly, taking in a deep breath, prepared for the worse, then she turned and walked in.
The building that had caught fire were clearly damaged, some worse than others. The ones closer to her were clearly no longer homes, the later buildings, the apartments, seemed luckier. She held her breath even after she saw her apartment building to be amongst the luckier ones.
It's so....devistating...! Wysteria stood, more or less unable to move at the sight. She just stood, taking it all in, looking at the heavily altered neighborhood. And then her eyes fell upon Drummer. And then Drummer's house. Her jaw dropped, instantly her heart went out to him. Without another second, she galloped over to the stallion to see if he was all right. "Drummer," she asked as she arrived at his side," Drummer, are you all right?"

Drummer looked up, glad to see a friendly face.
"Oh! Hey Wysteria. Yeah, I'm ok. I just can't believe it! What the hell happened here?" he asked, in somewhat of a daze.
He looked back at his house and just shook his head in disbelief.

It would seem he's in the dark just about as much as I was. Wysteria did not hesitate to tell the other what she had found out from Razzaroo and Silverfall. "I wanted to know the same thing. I was in my apartment when the fire alarms rang, so I left the neighborhood not able to do much about this. So I visited Razzaroo, and he and Silverfall told me of things that's been wrong lately."
"Something bad is happening here. And they suspect that it's from certain ponies running around. Currently a green mare, whom is the supposed arsonist," she nodded her heads to the buildings," And an orange stallion, whom hasn't been caught doing anything yet, but is hanging around the green mare a lot."
"Also, it would appear another red mare might be involved. She had been poisoned and almost died at the theater house, the orange stallion had saved her.," she finished, then added," Silverfall believes that we might have 7 of these ponies running around."
The purple mare frownd, looking back at what was Drummer's beautiful house. It was horrible that it had been taken down in the fire. But the more important thing was that Drummer was all right and wasn't hurt at all by this, at least not physically anyway. "You know, Drummer," she said, feeling like she needed to say something about his house. "It could be worse. Your home can be rebuilt, your possessions replaced. I think we both should just happy with being alive right now."

Drummer just nodded. He was having a hard time digesting all the information Wysteria was giving him.
"Well," he finally said, " I'm headed back to the cafe. I'm gonna have to sleep in the upstairs loft until I get my place rebuilt." He started to walk away with a far off look in his eye. He slowly turned back.
"Bye Wysteria. Thanks for filling me in." he said, sullenly.

Wysteria watched concerned as Drummer headed back towards the café. I suppose all of this was a bit much for him. She looked back to the house. And why wouldn't it be? His hous was just taken down and I just gave him all of that information that he probably just can't sort out right now. She sighed as his figure dissappeared from her sight. She was certain most ponies would be in this sort of shock for a while about this event. Even herself, if she'd actually make it to the apartment. Well, I suppose it's time to see my own home. She walked towards the middle of the buildings that were set on fire. A good portion of the lower building had been blackened. Figuring that elevators and stairs would not be an option, she went towards the fire escape stairway on the buildings side. Wysteria climbed, making her way to her still open window. Singed flower printed curtains lightly blew out of it, which she took as a slight good sign. Well, I still have curtains.Carefully she climbed in and surveyed her own damage.
The wall with her closet had been black, a few more with a some discoloration. Wallpaper was peeling in some places. Most items seemed all right, with the exception of anything against or in the blackend wall. This included several articles of clothing, shoeboxes of pictures, yearbooks, and portfolio pieces. She sighed, closing her closet, she would miss those portfolio pieces. Her green eyes spotted her current piece, that was still intact, which seemed to matter the most at the moment. With the worst of seeing the damage behind her, Wysteria went back into her kitchen and grabbing her paint supplies again. Nothing else seemed to intrest her at that moment but to finish the painting because she found that something that was missing from it: the past residue of a fire.
(OOC: I'm gone for most of the day, Wysteria will just hang here and Rose will probably stand outside the theater until then)

Wysteria looked back and finally dubbed her piece finished. Well, it still needs to dry though... and oils take forever to dry. She looked at the wall to her phone and decided that it wouldn't be best to try and call the client who ordered it from her. She had no idea if the fire affected any phone lines any. Again seeing she couldn't do any more there, she grabbed her purse and headed back out the building through the fire escape. Then headed into town.
