(Cont. from Ponyville)
Fluttershy gasped as she turned the corner while walking along the road with her bags and camera. The neighborhood looked terrible with all the fire and smoke damage. She instantly dreaded the idea of finding her little apartment in shambles, but then saw her corner of the building had been untouched. For some reason she then felt guilty about this.
Shifting her heavy bags across her shoulders, she took a quick snapshot of the building where the fire had eaten through the roof. Then she walked around to the other side and trotted up the stairs to her little apartment. Walking inside, she let out a sigh of relief. Everything was as she had left it.
Everything except her plants, of course. She had given them away before she'd left. Now the place looked a little sparse without them (not that anyone but her would have noticed this, since the walls were completely covered by little photos in decorative frames). She made a note to get some new plants, but then felt silly and sad since she immediately remembered seeing smoke damage at the Blossom shop on her way in. There must be more important things going on than buying a few plants. She sat down at her desk for a moment as she considered this.
Out of her bag she pulled several postcards mailed to her by her friends while she was in Dream Valley. She noticed the postmark date on the most recent one and realized that the damage to the town was all too new. It must have happened very recently. She wondered if there was anything she could do to help.

Not know quite where to start with the recent developments in the town, Fluttershy decided the best thing to do was go out and find some other ponies to talk to about it. She decided to go to Meadowbrook's shop. Not only could she pick up some groceries and new plants for her home, she could easily pick up the latest gossip there. Or maybe even the cafe. She was a bit hungry after her long flight. Maybe she'd go there first.
And with that she grabbed her purse and left.
