[OOC: All right. Thanks.]
Jol's features softened. He wouldn't hurt Silence for anything. Offering the colt half a smile Jol glanced towards Butterscotch. The golden mare had been extremely quiet through all of this. What was she up to?
Looking back down at Silence the stallion asked, "What? You need something? Want something?"
He was still very much getting used to being around a foal. There were times yet that he didn't know how to act or what to say, let alone what to do. Jol fidgeted a little nervously. Adults he could handle. Even children he didn't know where no big deal. Silence though seemed to set the unicorn on edge. He was so afraid of doing the wrong thing. Which for Jol was a big change.

Silence blinked as Jol asked the question. He looked up at Jol and shook his head. He spread out his little wings once more and flew towards Mom. He poked his head out from behind the snow wall and peered back at Jol, now with an evil grin. Although he was grateful that Jol had saved him, he wanted to play some more. He gathered and packed another snowball but it failed to hit the orange stallion.

Something like a chuckle escaped the stallion as he watched Silence head for Butterscotch. Remaining where he was he waited for the 'attack' that he knew was coming.
A devilish gleam danced in his orange eyes. He would retaliate. Oh yes and how. Thoughts began to churn through that big head of his. A hundred of which he filed away for someone else. It took a few minutes but he finally landed on an idea that he could use with these two.

All plans of retaliation left his mind as an indescribable something flickered in the back of his mind. Something that hadn't surfaced since Mimic's death. Ears perked forward. Where was 'it' coming from? Who was 'it' coming from? Forgetting everything Jol turned away. Taking one step and than another be began to leave Butterscotch's yard, leaving both her and Silence behind. He had to know where 'it' was coming from and who 'it' was coming from. Every other thought fluttered out of his head as his muzzle pointed down the street.

(ooc: oh geez, I'm sorry i haven't been paying attention!)
Silence grinned as Jol appeared to be preparing an attack. He was having a grand old time playing out in the snow with his family. Suddenly Jol turned and started to leave. At first Silence thought this was part of some secret attack plan, but Jol didn't stop. He didn't even look back. Silence dropped his snowball and ran to the very edge of the yard after him, but stopped short as if there was an invisable fence lining the perimiter of Butterscotch's property. He watched as Jol dissapeared from his vison and was gone. So many questions raced through the pony's head. What did he do wrong? Where Jol he going? When was he comming back? Why did he look so upset? The little bundle sat down at the very edge of the property facing Jol's last direction. He decided he would sit in the snow and wait for his daddy to return. He would not move from this spot. He turned his head slightly back towards Butterscotch's direction with a questioning look, hoping she might know something.

((OOC: Ack! Sorry for vanishing off the face of the earth like that, guys. n_n;; ))
Butterscotch tilted her head quizzically, slowly coming up behind the colt. She simply stood there for a moment, as if expecting Jol to come back. Finally, the mare spoke up. "Um... I guess he had something important to do. He'll be back soon enough, don't worry." Butterscotch did her best to sound cheerful, but she was still puzzled and a tad disappointed. Jol had always been somewhat aloof and distant, but leaving in the middle of a game like that... It didn't make sense to her at all.

Silence watched as Jol dissapeared, but this time he did not speak when he attempted to leave after being reassured by his mother that he would return. He turned to her and gave her leg a good hug. It was hard for him to accept that his parents would be leaving now and then but it was something he would have to get used to. It was very cold and after being pelted in snow a few times the foal began to shiver. He looked towards the front to and then back to Mom, motioning to her that he wanted to go back inside.
