Tide strode into his new apartment. He opened a cardboard box and found exactly what he was looking for; a wreath. He snatched his hammer and a nail and hung the wreath on his front door. He set out some candy canes and strung up some lights. Satisfied with his work, he set out to do some early shopping for the Festival of Lights.

Spring strode up to Tide's apartment and rapped at the door. After waiting some time and hearing no one coming to the door, she knocked a second time. Still no reply. She tried the door and found it locked. So, she turned back with some disappointment and headed back home.

Tide arrived back at his apartment empty-handed. He wasn't bothered, he knew he could go back another time. Just as he was unlocking his door, he heard Spring Fever thunder up to him. "Hey Tide!! I was hoping you'd be here!" she exclaimed in her hyper-active tone. He stifled a laugh at her strange behavior. "Come on in, I'll show you my Festival of Lights decorations," Tide said, knowing the idea would thrill Spring. She bounded into the apartment after him. "OOOH! I like it!" she said, complimenting his holiday spirit. "You've got great theme here Tide, but it could use a mare's touch," she continued, still grinning. She went and tidied it up, mumbling to herself that stallions just couldn't do anything right. When she finished it looked straightened up, and she looked on with pride. "Uh thanks Fever!" Tide said, not noticing a difference.
(OOC: *rolls eyes* Stallions. Phh!)

"Well, I've got nothing to do and all the time in the world," Spring said to Tide, a mischievous look in her eyes. "Let's stop down by the CC Cafe or something." Tide agreed and they set off toward town.
