"What a wonderful ending to a wonderful story..."
The violet-pink pony smiled and closed the book, satisfied with its ending. She placed the book down on the circular glass table next to her chair, and picked up her cup of tea and took a sip.
Nearby on his perch, the albino cockatiel watched the mare with his pink-red eyes. Crystal Lace felt the bird's eyes watch her and she turned and looked at him with smile.
"Don't you agree?" she asked him quietly. Of course, White Tale had no idea on what she was talking about, and the bird wasn't going to even try to care seeing as he couldn't really read. Crystal Lace smiled and adjusted her glasses, before placing her empty cup down and taking her newly finished book back to her rather large book case. She placed it in its rightful place (the bookcase is arrange alphabetically, and by genre) and stepped back, uncertain on what to do next.
Looks like I'm out of books to read... Crystal Lace thought. Maybe I should go visit the library later on...

The weather was beginning to bother the mare; she wasn't very fond of summer anyway.
With White Tale back in his cage and the room cleaned up, Crystal Lace left the door and locked it behind her, before heading off.
((cont. elsewhere. Maybe the castle for the library))

As Crystal Lace entered the house, she was greeted with a friendly chirp from White Tale. She smiled and placed the books aside, walking over to the cage to let the cockatiel out and have a bit of a stretch. The bird considered the jews in her hair, necklace and earrings, eyeing them quizically.
"Its only a temporary thing." She assured the bird. She held out her hoof so he could climb up the top of the cage while she removed the jewellery and placed them on the coffe table. "I'll be returning them to SunnyD soon. I hope she won't get carried away with dressing me up."
She glanced at the jewed symbol of hers with a sigh, and turned her attention to the books she borrowed from the castle library. She took note on their titles, authors and the years they were published, and checked the pages noting the damages done. After that, she put them away, seperately from her books though, returned White Tale (much to his dispair) to his cage and left the house.
((cont. else where... prob. book shop.))
