Silence was standing near the air conditioning vent. It felt good since the house was hot, too hot for his liking. Once he felt better he walked over to the chair next to the window that displayed the front lawn. He laid down, resting his head on the chair's arm so he could see out the window at the same time. He spent most of his day there, just sitting...waiting.
It had been months since Jol's last visit and the foal couldn't understand why. Since then he hadn't been himself. He'd felt something missing. He missed Jol, and he'd wait there all the time in case the orange stallion would ever return. He would never give up hope, although sometimes he's have to remind himself that.
Since Winter, Silence had been growing like a weed. He was now a little past an average sized foal. It was almost as if a month was a year in his growth cycle.
He sighed and tore his eyes away fom the window to look across the room to see if his mom was nearby.

Silence knew his mom had alot of work to do, being a detective and all but he could help wanting to spread his wings (literally) and get some fresh air and sunshine. It seemed like Butterscotch often kept him cooped up inside.
It wasn't his nature to break the rules, but foals will be foals. He nudged the window open with his little nose and jumped out onto the grassy front yard. With that the little foal wandered away.
