The white pony led the brownish one home in the dark, through alleys mostly since she didn't seem to mind them and they made good shortcuts. When he reached his house (one of the few that had survived the fires last summer) the porch light was on, waiting for him like a harsh watchlight, and he shied back for a moment before heaving a great sigh and opening the door.
"Um, hello? Mom, dad? Im home, and I brought someone."
"Wondermint!" Ziba's mom was mad - he could tell just by the use of his real name. "Where have you been out so late like this? And look at you! Your stained like you were rolling around in puddles all day!"
Ziba blushed, "actually, I fell in a puddle on the way home, tripped I did, and my bag ripped open. And, uh..." the white pony suddenly realized he didn't know the girl's name who he had brought home. "She said she could fix it for me."

Harper stood quietly, keeping her distance so as to not intrude and yet staying close enough to hear every word that was spoken. It wasn't that she meant to listen in, it was more of a wanting to stay close to someone who hadn't backed away from her.
Ears perked forward when the dashing young stallion said, "She said she could fix it for me."
A smile creeping slowly across her face Harper added in, "It's my fault he tore his bag. I was in the way."
Bowing her head out of respect for Wondermint's parents she said, "I am Harper. It is an honor to meet you."

Slowly she lifted her head back up. Brown eyes watching Wondermint's parents for a reaction. Was she welcome? Or would it be better to leave? The pegasus was uncertain as she looked at the trio.

[OOC: Since Zibamint is elsewhere, just going to let Harper wander off.] ] No reply. Perhaps now was a bad time. Offering an apologetic smile to the trio, Harper dipped her head again out of respect for Wondermint's parents. "Good night." The pegasus whispered softly. Turning she thought of looking over her shoulder but quickly thought better of it. She didn't want Wondermint's parents to think she'd been brought up wrong or anything. And goodness she didn't want them to think her noisy. Wings tucked loosely at her sides she headed back down the sidewalk. Hooves splashing lightly in puddles as she walked the streets at night.
