Sun beating down upon her back Applejack stood up. Glancing down the dirt path that led to the small apple orchard she was more than a little surprised to see a dark purple stallion walking towards her.
“Hello.” Apple called, “Are you new in town?”
The stallion dipped his head in greeting as he replied sweetly, “Good day.” Smiling brightly he replied, “I am. My name is Locke.” Eyes surveyed the apple trees that were already heavy with apples, “Such a hot day to be gardening I must say.”
Applejack smiled back, “Nice to meet you Locke. My name’s Applejack. You can call me Apple though.”
The teenager giggled slightly. Well of course it was hot out! It was summer after all. What had the stallion expected wind chills and snow storms?
“So love, tell me is there any place to grab a bite to eat around here?” Locke asked his purple eyes roaming over Apple’s body.
Not bad. Not bad at all he had to admit. But she did appear a little on the young side and there was no telling if she was alone. Especially since she did seem a tad young still.
“Oh sure!” Apple replied her head bobbing, “There’s the Café it’s a few blocks up. Dark pink, large sign, sweet smells drifting out of the door. Can’t miss it. Or at least I can’t.”
Locke chuckled, “I doubt anyone could. Thank you kindly, love.”
Apple was instantly thankfully for that bright red coat of hers. It hid her blushing so well. Which was fortunate since Locke’s calling her ‘love’ had caused the seventeen-year-old to blush.
Flashing the girl another smile Locke dipped his head before heading back down the dirt road, “Was nice meeting you Apple.”
“You too, Locke.” Apple replied as she watched the dark purple stallion stroll unhurriedly down the path.
[OOC: Locke is headed for the Café.]
