Moon Crystal fitted in the key and unlocked the door before swinging it open and walking into the appartment.
"Just put the bags on the kitchen top." Moony said to him, as she stepped aside and held the door open to let him through. She dipped her head in thanks. "Thankyou for carrying them for me."

Hollow nodded briefly to her thanks and went in past her.
"No problem," he said.
He looked around as he walked to the kitchen and put the groceries down.
"So... this is your friend's place?" he asked. It felt strange to be in a home. He hadn't stayed in any other place than inns and campsites for so long he couldn't remember anything else anymore.

"Yeap, this is my friends place." Moony said brightly as she closed the door behind her and made her way over to the kitchen to place her bags next to the one's Hollow had set down. "Actually I have been living here with her for quite some time. Ever since I got to Ponyville I think... At the moment however, she is out on, umm, holiday..."
It felt odd saying that Wysteria was on holiday where in fact she was in some place god knows where ((XD hahaha, get it? I'm soo lame -.- ...)) with some war raging on for who knows what reason. The mare bit her lip a bit in worry, but surely that dark purple unicorn would not let harm come in her friends way.

Hollow could tell she did not in fact mean a holiday, but said nothing. If she didn't want to tell him, he would be polite and not ask. He started to help her to take out the groceries while looking around.
"It looks like an artist's home," he noted off-handedly.

Moony chuckled. "You do have sharp eyes, don't ya?" She said with a grin as she packed away some snacks in the pantry.
"My friend is indeed an artist, and a good one at that. I've never really been much of the artist sort myself I don't think. What about you? Do you have any certain talents? Art? Music? Sports? Magic?"

Hollow wrinkled his nose at the question, but not out of disgust as much as for self-loathing. Yes, magic, he did indeed possess magic, but he could not control it. So how was it a skill? Doubtful.
"I..." he began, then was cut off by the weak feeling somewhere deep in his stomach. Ah, what was the use? He would spend a long time with this mare, and he had a feeling, more of a gut feeling than anything else, that it would yet be of no use to lie to her. "Well, I suppose you could say I have a talent," he said bitterly. "But it was a gift. Or a curse." He shrugged. "The definition depends on your point of view, I suppose."

The unicorn listened with curiousity. A talent slash gift slash curse? Fascinating... She considered him a little; there was a bitterness in his voice, so this ability wasn't one someone would be happy about.
Moony opened her mouth, eager to ask more and to find out about this special ability of his, but then held back. Hollow didn't seem like he wanted to talk about it... she shouldn't pressure him into talking about anything uncomfortable because she knew that she wouldn't like it either... then again, talking about things that bothered someone usually helped...
"I guess you have a point on the definitions." She said. "To me, talent is something you are born with, something one specialises in. Then again, a talent could be considered as a gift, though there are also gifts that are given to you which you are not born with. Gifts are usually something that does one good. However, if the gift does evil and is unwanted, I guess it would be then defined as a curse..."
"But that is just how I see it." She finished rather lamely with an awkward expression. It was as though she annoyed at her self for babbling on about things that were likely of no interest to the other or confused him.

"Yes, one may look on it in many ways..." he said quietly. "Myself, I've come to terms with what I see..." He interrupted himself and shrugged the thought off. "Well, I suppose I had better go," he said gruffly. "Let you get on with the rest of your life."

"Oh? You have to go already?" Moony was obviously crestfallen the moment he said: "Well, I suppose I had better go." She wasn't expecting him to depart so soon; she was getting used to his company.
"Please, where ever you go, can I come with you?" She said quickly trotting out infront of him to stop him from making any last minute dashes, and just to make sure he listens to what she has to say. "Being stuck here in the appartment is awfully dull and lonely. Oh, and might I add that sitting around all day isn't much of a life anyway, so I do need to get out more frequently. And hey! Didn't you want to look for the Purple Champion? If you still want to look for them, we should go together, us being both champions and all."

Hollow was surprised at the mare's suggestion, but gruffly pleased about not having to depart with her so soon. He extended his neck just a little and nudged her on the muzzle with his own. "That would be nice," he said. "I'd be happy for the company." [[seeing as we're about a day behind from Razz who is going to start getting the champs together right around now, I guess we'll have to think about deciding what Hollow and Moony did for the day... I'm not sure if we're in the same time with Jewel's thread.  ]] |

"I'm glad then." She said, nudging his muzzle back with hers.
((we are a day behind? Razz is already collecting the champs? o.o where have I been... XD I need to catch up, but I don't have the time for it atm. :\ hmm, what they could do for a day?))

[[hehe, well, Razz only got the phone call from Kail to gather up the champs so you're not that much behind. I think the thread Jewel the pony is on is probably still in the same time with us, but I think it might be better if we say they tried looking for the indigo stripe but didn't find her, so they ended up having all kinds of fun during the day - Moony might have persuaded Hollow to actually enjoy himself a little. And then... maybe... she would have invited him over to sleep in Wysteria's place, after he told her that the mare in whose house he's currently staying doesn't really like company. How's that?]]
