Razz plopped himself down on the green-cushioned bench. He was feeling a bit grumpy, but it was soon overcome by his loneliness. Bandit curled up on the floor beside him. Razz touched the spot behind his ear where the Rainbow had left its mark.
Some hero I turned out to be...

Razz's glum attitude drifted into his thoughts as he sulked quietly. He leaned back against the bench, sliding down until his chin was resting on his chest and his legs were dangling oddly at his sides. He sniffled once and was just about to drift off into sleep when he heard...
"Silverfall...She's alright, Razz, everything's going to be alright..."
Razzaroo shot up, almost spilling himself on the floor. His ears swiveled around as he looked for Silver Shadow. It had been his voice he heard. But Silver Shadow was not there and Razz had to take a moment as his heart slowed down. Then he realized the voice had not come from around him, but rather inside of him. He had heard it in his mind. This instantly made him grumpy again for he knew he'd lost his rainbow power. He couldn't read minds that way any more. And Silver Shadow was far, far away.
Yet there was at least a very tiny bit of belief in him again. And it slowly began to creep...feeding on hope...and started to grow. In an hour it would have grown so much that he would find himself whistling happily in the kitchen while preparing lunch.

After lunch, Razz found himself in a chipper mood. He went into the store and began rustling through some boxes until he came upon an assortment of keys stuck on some very large key rings. He tucked this into the satchel he wore around his neck. Then he took it out again because it was too heavy and split the rings apart and took a moment to examine each one. Picking the set he thought was the one he'd need, he stuck it back into the satchel. The rest of the keys he packed away again.
He whistled to Bandit and prepared to leave the store.
