(Time: After castle falls, late afternoon?)
Razz caught up with the floating body of the indigo mare just outside the door of his shop. He fitted the silver key into the lock and quickly guided the body inside. Luckily, no one was on the street at that particular moment.
He was about to settle the body on the blue-cushioned bench when he thought better of it. Instead he guided the body to the back of the shop and up the stairs to his apartment. Once inside, he guided the body to his simple bed pallet. He sat down next to the indigo mare as she slept. At least, he thought it was kind of like sleep, only deeper. So he sat and watched and waited for something to happen and drifted in his thoughts, of which there were a great many.

Leaving the indigo mare asleep on his bed, Razz went downstairs to the kitchenette in the back of his store and decided he'd make himself a cup of tea. He rustled about in the cupboards, opening one, then another, and another until he found an old tea tin. Setting it on the counter, he opened it and began to sift through the tea leaves and garnishes. Having selected what he wanted, he filled the kettle from the sink and placed it on the stove. He turned a knob and pumped the floor pedal, getting the flame just right. Then he made his way into the shop.
He looked the store over, filled from floor to ceiling with the oddities he was fond of collecting and decided to start rummaging through some of the boxes on the nearest table.

Razz's upper body was completely buried in a box when the tea kettle began to whistle. Jumping up, he scattered an assortment of odd dresses and undergarments about the floor. One strange item swung precariously from the tip of the horn on his helmet, looking like a coconut sling. The weight of the horn felt so comfortable and familiar, that he'd simply forgotten he was wearing it. Removing the strange coconut-sling and tucking it back into the box for later, Razz brisked back into the kitchen. He turned down the oven. Then he added the hot water to a cup filled with tea leaves. Putting the cup on his kitchen tray, he then grabbed the centrally carved mouthpiece and proceeded to make his way back up into his apartment.
He put the tray down on the floor beside the bed. Then he reclined there also, having checked that the indigo mare was still sleeping. He blew on his tea and took a sip.
Uh, that's bitter.
But he took another sip. The liquid warmed his entire body and made him feel quite pleasant.

Razz's thoughts were fluttering in and out of himself like small squirrels gathering nuts into their nests for the winter. He smiled quietly to himself, tripping over the memories he enjoyed most as the tea warmed his body. But his smile faded as more intense thoughts came running up to him. Everyone in Ponyville was walking on glass crystals trying to keep a low profile from prowling dangers. Families were locked in their homes, not daring to come out. And those who had been a part of the great battle were preparing for more, despite their wounds. He could sense all of these things, and it made him sad and angry...
He looked again at the indigo as that anger rushed up from his stomach. It was the kind of anger Razz had never felt before. He certainly knew what anger was and had been angry many times in his life, but this was a deeper feeling, a foul, distgusted, livid, fire-breeding kind of anger. It threatened to fuse to every bone in his body, but there was something warm in the way. He took another sip of tea.

He's coming.
Was it his voice that said it? Razz wasn't sure. He stayed beside the bed, anger dwelling beneath his skin and his mind sifting around on top of it. He waited.

Dw arrived at the front door of teh shop and eyed teh sign. "Oddities?"
Like me, oh I mean, us.
"Oooh," She went back to talking with Luence, of all the spirits he seemed the more laid back. "What do we do now?"
What we always do, we find evil creatures and kill them. Just don't get yourself run through, torn apart, etc. etc.
DW did her best to ignore him. "HELLO! ANDBODY IN HERE?"
The evil will find you very fast at this rate.

Razz's ear flicked forward at the sound, but he did not reply.
Let them come.

Driven by a force far stronger than anything the stallion could conjure on his own, Glasye breezed into town. Using his senses (which he concluded were much more effective than his guess-and-go strategy of the past), he narrowed it down to Razz's shop. The indigo was there.
Chest heaving with the excitement of another kill, Glasye hovered in front of the door for a moment, teeth bared like a wolf about to make a kill. His eyes were wild with an evil drive, and he felt the unity of his siblings in his veins. So close..
At that moment, Glasye broke through the door and charged into the house. Looking much the pony possessed, he turned slowly to Razzaroo, "Where.. is.. he?"
(ooc: Much the same as he doesn't know what pony to kill, Glasye also doesn't know what the pony is...)

Razz heard the front door of his shop breaking open, shattering glass on the floor. He remained seated beside the bed as the clatter of hooves upon the stairwell brought Glayse into the loft. The orange stallion was frothy from his exhurtion.
Where...is...he?
The words echoed in his mind.
"And good day to you, too," Razz said, slightly annoyed.

Dw watched Glayse break through the door.
Ah well, 'spose thats as good an invitation as any. Lets get into action. Luence's voice had already slipped back among the others.
She stepped in after Glayse. "Yoohoo! Anybody home? Luence says I should kill you all, or at least the evil ones, but Moby Carp says there is a candle in this dark corner of the cave, but who?"

Razz heard DW from downstairs.
"The party's upstairs!" He spoke loud enough for her to hear. His eyes remained fixed on Glayse as he rose from the floor. He stood blocking the way to the bed, which was tucked up against the wall. The indigo mare slept on, unaware of her peril, or at least not showing it.

Dw took to the air and flew up teh stairs to land beside Razzaroo. "And a big thaanks to the purple candle, er, inferno, form the look on your face." She turned to talk to Glayse. "Your being a bully."
Khor decided to let Luence give soem advice, Dw purposly widened his range to all in the room. Hello ladies and gentlemen! Hope your all happy and well, especially the evils. well, hopefully your not happy, but well, we want you well.
"Stop being a comedian and offer some help before the world is reduced to a lake of flames."

Though he didn't specifically say or think anything through the fashion of common words, Razz's mental self acknowledged the presence with a sort of mental nod. He continued to lock eyes with Glayse and swished his tail angrily.

Post by Rose Rebellion on Oct 31, 2003 9:11:30 GMT -5
Rose made it down the streets of Ponyville. At first she'd lost herself because she was unfamiliar with the roads leading from the castle to the town. But after reaching town everything was clear in direction. She bounded again, working her stiff muscles as she drove herself after the orange stallion. She haulted at the commotion from Razz's store.
Rose had never seen the store, or really noticed it two days ago when she strolled through the town. But she recognized the name in the stores name. Razzaroo....one of the ones who save me from the poison. Stupid, nows not the time to think about yourself, think of Glayse! She hadn't hesitated in running in.
The red mare stood in the center of the store, panting to catch her breath. She looked at the oddities around, slightly confused at why Glayse had ran into a place like this. If the situation wasn't as dramatic as it was, she would've thought he'd gone in to find some odd jewelry for her....or at least Rose would've wished. Noise came from the stairs, and Rose's head jerked in that direction. "Glayse...!," she called out, rushing towards the stairs and beginning to climb them.
(ooc: I think as far as Rose is concerned she thinks Glayse is being hunted down to be killed, which leads her to think about playing protector at the moment.)

Kail wasn't able to keepup with Glasye, but she could keep an eyee on him till he got inside. Swooping down and running in just after Rose, she stopped for a momment and took in the scene. Rose was climbing the stairs, the winged crazy pony from the castle was also in the room, and just up the stairs on the loft she could she the orange stallion with the yellow stripe around his neck. Lifting up on her wings toward the ceiling, Kail could see Glasye, the glowing Razzaroo, and Siri on the bed behind him.
"Don't you touch her," Kail said to Glasye, although he didn't know Siri was a girl yet.
