He smiled briefly. "My ears and my tongue."
These would be the last piercings he'd have done for awhile, and he knew it. Might as well make them worth it.
They're going to kill me. Joy. Piercings and tattoos were frowned upon at his place of work. But they would have to deal with the fact that there'd only be two visible piercings that he couldn't take out for at least a few months.

Haha, I wonder where I'm going to find room in his ears? Dash smirked internally. Never done a tongue before...but I'm certainly not going to tell him that.
"Sure," he said with a cheerful smile. "Have a seat." He indicated a stool in the corner, made just for that purpose. I'll get my supplies...they're in the back." With that, he turned and disappeared behind the curtain separating the front part of the shop from the back.

Grinning, he took a seat on the stool. Not many ponies have piercings in this town...
He called over his shoulder and towards the backroom. "Have you ever pierced a tongue before, Dash?"

In the back room, Dash lowered his ears guiltily and blushed, glad Tristan couldn't see him. He would have to ask that, wouldn't he? Coming back from behind the curtain with his piercing supplies, Dash gave him a sheepish grin. "Well...not as such, no," he admitted, figuring the truth was always best. "But I have been trained in it. Everyone's gotta start somewhere hm?" He lowered his ears again, a bit embarrassed. "Would you rather I not do it? I have a lot of experience doing ears; I could stick with that."

The embarrassed look on Dash's face made Tristan laugh softly. Shaking his head, he smiled softly.
"It's fine. If you mess up I can always kick your arse later." Looking the stallion in the eye, he winked.

Dash laughed, feeling immensely better. "Aye, you could at that."
He allowed himself a little internal giggle. He winked!
"All right, so which do you want to do first? Ears or tongue?"

Smirking, he watched Dash. "I'm going to have to go with ears. Still have to mentally prepare myself to let you pierce my tongue."
It wasn't often that Tristan was in a playful mood, like the one he was in at the moment.

Dash nodded, and snorted as he went about preparing Tristan's ears. "Good...cause I have to mentally prepare myself to pierce your tongue." Shaking his head, he put a small mark on each ear with a marker. "How's that for placement?"

"You shouldn't tell your customer that. It's bad for business."
Looking at his reflection, he nodded. "Looks fine to me."
Clear bi-colored eyes looked at the stallion. That certain something was back, and lurking in Tristan's eyes.

Dash chuckled softly. "Mmm, you're probably right. Consider it stricken from the record?" Taking a cotton ball laden with rubbing alcohol, he gave Tristan's ears a gentle swipe, then loaded his piercing gun with the surgical steel post and set it against one ear over the mark he had made. "Hold still," he warned, then depressed the trigger on the gun. There was a sharp pop as the gun shot forward. He blotted at the tiny drop of blood with a tissue, then repeated the mtion on the other side.

The corner of his lip twitched. "Consider it done."
Tristan's eyes fell to the floor as Dash took care of his job. He didn't even flinch as the gun went off. He'd become accustomed to the pain and sometimes noise that accompanied getting pierced.

Dash dabbed at the blood a bit more, then stepped back to survey his work. "Mmm, looks good," he said. "If I do say so myself. I suppose I don't need to tell you to keep them in for at least six weeks and clean them daily?" He knew Tristan was probably an expert at these things, but he was obligated to tell him.

"Of course not." Looking at Dash, he tilted his head.
"Ready for that tongue piercing?" He raised his pierced brow in questioning.
In all honesty, there wasn't a doubt in his mind that the stallion wouldn't mess up.

Dash nodded and reached for the bottle of disinfectant, carefully cleaning his hemostats and the special needle. "Okay," he said. "Stick out that tongue."

Keeping all comments to himself, Tristan obeyed and stuck out his tongue.
