Dash carefully closed Tristan's tongue in the between the hemostat;s claws, holding it firmly in place. Taking the needle in his other hoof, he inserted it through the flesh with firm pressure.
Then he stepped back, glad the worst was over, and watched Tristan for a reaction.

There wasn't a trace of pain on his features, not even his eyes told what he was feeling. But inside, he was flinching. Having a chunk of your tongue taken out doesn't exactly feel good.
Looking at Dash, he attempted to speak while the clamp held his tongue outside of his mouth. "Ah uou gaein tuh lieve meh lie 'ith?"
(OOC: Translation- "Are you going to leave me like this?" XD)

!!!!! "Sorry, sorry!" Blushing again, he jumped forward again and removed the clamp from Tristan's mouth. Inserting the barbell on the end of the needle, he gently pulled it out, leaving the barbell in. Such a dummy sometimes, Dash... Dash berated himself. "There...how's that?"

Grinning, Tristan chuckled. "Don't worry about it."
Rolling his tongue inside his mouth, he swallowed the excess blood. "It's good."
This is going to be such a pain when it swells... He smiled at Dash. "Thanks."
Sliding off of the chair, he stood across from the stallion. “So, how does it look?”
Simply sticking his tongue out wouldn’t do. No, no- He had to flick it out.

Dash arched his eyebrow when Tristan flicked his tongue at him, then chuckled. "Looks good to me." Not like I'm any kind of authority on such things, dear Tristan, he thought.

"Alright." He walked away from Dash.
"How much do I owe you?" The black unicorn slowly turned to look at the stallion.

Dash tilted his head a moment, then walked behind the counter again to ring up the sale, quoting the price. It wasn't too high...making his own merchandise meant he could offer things only slightly above cost...a fact which all his customers appreciated (whether or not they realized it).

Slow strides carried the stallion over to the register. He placed his money atop the counter.
Turning his head, he glanced out the windows. He still had the entire day ahead of him, and yet... he didn't feel like doing anything.

Dash carefully placed the money in the cash register in their appropriate places, and followed the other stallion's gaze out the windows. "Are you all right?" he asked gently.

"Hm?" Turning his head to face Dash, Tristan nodded slightly. "Oh. Yeah. I'm fine." There you go, spacing off again. Nice job.
"I guess I should be going, eh?" Giving a half-hearted snort, he began to walk away from the counter and towards the exit.
"It was nice meeting you, Dash." He didn't look back at the stallion as he spoke.

Dash tilted his head to the other side and flicked his ears. Quite odd, that one... he thought. "It was nice meeting you too, Tristan. Take care of those holes in your head...and don't hesitate to stop back any time. You'll always be welcome."

Smirking to himself, Tristan quietly made his way out of the store. He'd be back... eventually.

Dash stared after Tristan a moment after he'd left the shop, then shook his head with an odd little smile, and went about cleaning up the piercing supplies and tidying the shop, readying for the next customer that happened to walk in that day.
