Kail gave each of the foals a hug as they hid behind her, "don't worry, we are leaving right now." Not that she thought the gods were really something to be afraid of - undoubtably they were powerful ponies, but not gods.
With the cooler hanging precariously on her back (she didn't bother to secure it as well this time) she rounded up the children and left the beach.
(OOC: like I said, if anyone has a pref. where they go say something now)

"I'm sorry, was that little monologue supposed to be witty?" Aedeminar tilted her head. "If so, I must have missed something." The ancient mage smiled sweetly.
"That's because your a boring old hag that follows Tyr around," Lian smiled just as sweetly back at Aedeminar. He inwardly laughed at Yama's statement about not having pimples and was about to ask why he was wearing the silly-looking cloak then when Yama exploded.
"I'm here to recruit mages, and not one of you pathetic gods will get in my way!!"
Ok, so Lian didn't have any actual mages.... yet. But he was hoping for the orange one, and he was sure he could find some other fun-loving mage about. Or a few.
"Yama, Yama, Yama, don't you know, that is exactally what we are here to do. Get in your way. Steal your mages. Keep a balance between the light and the dark!" By the last bit he sounded a bit like a televangelist. "Although...." he turned to Brigid, "you do seem more powerful than you aught to compared to the rest of us. Methinks perhaps you have a few mages already? Ooooh, do spill." He gave her his best 'I'm listening' face - why not find out who her mages were? The better to keep an eye on them dear.

Moony made a face when Lian said girlfriend, and so did Dreamer. They weren't going out or anything; they looked at each other as more as a brother-sister kind of relationship or just really good friends... Dreamer did not return a smile, whatsoever, and neither did he reply. Moony smiled in return though. "Yes, that would be nice to catch up with you another time." she said to Lian. She glanced at Dreamer and stopped smiling when she saw the expression on his face; she didn't get what was going on. "Dreamer what is your problem?" she asked him quietly. "I just don't want you mixing with his kind." "What do you mean by 'his kind'." she glanced at Lian briefly, who was chatting to some other ponies and this other with some black cloak kinda thing. "Yeah, he looks out of the ordinary, but he can't be that bad. He doesn't seem to be that bad." "But you don't understand." He sighed, knowing that he shouldn't be telling her what to do. Lian was right in a way; Dreamer did have a habit for telling Moony what he thought would be best for her. "Just be careful around them." Moony nodded, and turned to looked at Wysteria. The purple mare did not reply, but it wasn't like Moony would leave until she got an answer. She didn't want to leave Wysteria around because she seemed bothered by all these "others". She moved closer to Wsyteria. "So you'd rather stay?" Moony asked. "If so, umm, are you going to be alright?" ((munto post.. not feeling the best ))

((lol. Purple IS a cat. )) Yama snorted again and decided to leave... These gods were so happy... That was something that got on his nerves... If he got angry then he would end up killing somebody; Something he actually didn't want to do, as it would leave him weak for days... He turned on his tail; and stalked off without a word. He would catch up with that purple pony soon...

(OOC: Ack, you guys post TOO FAST! ) Mainsail looked at Yama, she heard what he was thinking. She didn't like what he was saying to her. Baby Sea Spray felt Goody Gumdrop grab her. "Hey, what gives?!" She said. Mainsail looked at her. "Baby Sea Spray, be nice." Baby Sea Spray nodded. She looked over at Gumdrop and whispered, "What's going on? Why is that stallion staring at my mommy?" Mainsail gave Yama one quick stare, then turned around to go over to another part of the beach. There was something about that nasty stallion that she didn't like at all. She just ignored all he said. Since he was ignoring her. Why is he so mean? Why is he picking on me? And he'll NEVER get my precious Baby Sea Spray, I'm going to keep a close watch on her. He'll never even touch her. She's my daughter. Not his. She thought in her head. She went out to the shore, staring at the sunset. The sunset cheered Mainsail up. She felt happy again, she sat down and watched the sunset. Baby Sea Spray turned her head and watched Mainsail go out to shore. She was going to follow her, but decided not to. She turned to Gumdrop. "So, um, why don't we play beach volleyball?" She with a grin.

Gumdrop shook her head at Baby Sea Spray. "No... Kail says we have to go now..." She said as she slowly let go of her.

Baby Sea Spray frowns slowly. "Oh, ok." She says. She looks at her mother.
Mainsail looks over at Baby Sea Spray, and walks over to her. "Honey, what's wrong?" She asks her.
Baby Sea Spray looks up at her. "Kail said we have to go."
Mainsail blinked. "Go? Go where? Is she taking you somewhere"
Baby Sea Spray shrugged. "I don't know." She turned around and followed Baby Goody Gumdrop. (cont. somewhere)

Inti noticed an anxious mare a little ways away. She was a pretty purple that seemed to be soothing to the eye. Perhaps this was the mage that Brigid had told him to fight for.
Yama had already left. Why not? With that he high-stepped over to her, trying to walk as if he were marching proudly. His tail-bun bobbled with every step and his earings jingled in the stormy wind.
With a smile he said, "Hello there. What's wrong? Why are you so scared?" He could sense her soul was troubled, but still recived good vibes from her.
He tilted his head with a sympathetic smile. "Is the storm to much for you? Don't worry, it'll as all things do."

(Cafe sounds good to me.)
Razz shoved the last blanket into his enormous beach bag, tucked his shades into the pocket, and threw everything up onto his back as he prepared to leave. He whistled to Bandit. The big dog bounded over, then herded Sky Feathers toward the other foals, keeping a close watch on them as a good sheperd does.
"OK, let's get going," Razz said as he pointed to the path up the hill from the beach. "Kids first, everyone stay with your buddy."
-------
The skies grew darker. Set continued to watch in silence.

Baby Sea Spray nodded to Razz's directions. She turned towards the other foals and blinked. "Umm, who was my buddy?" She asked them.
Twinkle Twirl looked over at the others. She then looked up at the sky, it was getting dark. "I think we should go, it's getting dark." She said to Ocasta. She got up and headed towards the other ponies.

"He also seemed to be the god of talking, as he hardly ever stopped. "Of course you know Brigid who absolutely adores children, and Inti the cute little heartbreaker he is, and my good pal Yama here.""Oh yes, Lian," Brigid cynically said, "I love them so much I wish I had a dozen of them." Her vivid green eyes darted to Set. "And no, that was not an invitation to help make them," she openly said to him. She raised an eyebrow, mockingly daring him to pursue the verbal tradeoffs. Brigid's ears flattened as Yama broke into his outburst. However, she was even more disgusted at the immature antic that Inti followed it by. Laughing at Yama is not wise, and you know this., her thoughts shot straight to him, He maybe darkly aligned, but he is still a being of unremarkable strength and wit. A rival, that he is, and in that form deserves some respect as he can jump in the fray with the best of us light gods with little more than a scratch.Brigid wasn't one to be entirely against a little bit of fun poking here or there, but not publicly in front of the one it was targeted for, or with the other gods so close to hear it. But her heavy thoughts lightened as Yama left abruptly. It seemed a weight had lifted from the air. Or was it just the heavy breeze of the approaching storm that made the air light? "Although...." he turned to Brigid, "you do seem more powerful than you ought to compared to the rest of us. Methinks perhaps you have a few mages already? Ooooh, do spill."Brigid let a light, sweet, but still sugar coded with every bit of sarcasm, laugh out. With an innocent, but firm face, she looked directly at the god whom appeared to have come from a Frankenstein movie. "My dear, sweet Lian. Methinks you better go stick your hoof in a bee hive and mind your own bees' wax.," the goddess paused. Her face grew quite serious and forcefully. " My mages are my property. You lay a hoof on them, and I shall make you wish you hadn't the abominations growing from your head." ------- Wysteria turned her head back towards Moony as she heard the other's voice again. However, her head turned in such a startled fashion it would seem she'd forgotten the other was still present. Her mouth opened again as her eyes darted to the cloaked god exiting in a rush. Instantly the mare could feel some minor tension lift from her. Thank the rainbow....he's gone! She couldn't quite explain it, nor even begin to comprehend why the stallion's presence had made her feel so nervous. However, Lian and the others still made her quite uncomfortable, but she no longer felt as if she had to stay in the area. Wysteria turned her head once again towards Moony, once more opening her mouth when Inti had interrupted her. The artist turned and looked at him, her heart instantly catching up in her throat at his eccentric appeal. Wysteria would have to admit Inti was drop dead gorgeous. If Wysteria hadn't been on the mental stress merry-go-round, she'd have dropped on her knees and begged him to pose for a painting. He's one of them. Her mind clicked in, as she'd compared all of the grace and barring of the others, and Wysteria could plainly see that there was no other explanation for his appearance. She swallowed a large lump that built in her throat. The artists didn't say so much as a word to Inti out of wanting nothing to do with him, nor to Moony out of wanting to escape the situation as quickly as possible. Instead, she dropped the cooler, and with her sketchbook clung tightly to her, she galloped off as fast as she could. "Leave me alone!!" (con. out in Outer Edges just for Yama to take her, I'll pm you a good way to scare her into it, Delta. ) ----- Rose Rebellion watched with some worry out across the lake. The weather had no doubt changed suddenly, and Rose was a bit worried of it. She knew that at a beach the weather was inclined to changes like this with little time, and Rose never liked storms. At least none concerning lightning and thunder. Better get Tsuwari home. Her head turned in search of him, her purple eyes taking note of Kailani's speed in leaving. She wasn't entirely aware that it was due to the group gathered on the opposite end of the beach, but Rose trusted Kail's decisions. And if the beach wasn't safe at the moment for the foals under her wings, than it certainly wasn't safe for Tsuwari. Finally, she spotted her dear orange foal, thankfully still safe. "Tsuwari!," she called out to him with a minor hint of worry on her voice. She called out to him again, "Tsuwari, there's going to be a storm, we're leaving now!" (con, at Rainbow River for Set to do whatever ^_^)

The hair on Set's neck was standing up. He had been ready to unleash a full spread of lightning across the lake, but his ethereal spirit now felt as if if moved through thick molasses. He gave a great tug on the energy that should rightfully be his, but it was caught against some unknown thing. Only a fraction of the power trickled through now. He lashed his tail and struck his horn first on one tree, and then another.
Give it to me!
He bucked.
Give it to me! Or I'll rend her from ear to tail!
For a moment it seemed he would be successful. For a moment, he felt the power filling into his being. Then he simply let go. Rose was leaving. His attention was on her so fast that he simply let the storm slide free. The skies continued to whirl and whine, but he slipped back into the woods and disappeared.

((Ah! I'm behind again!))
Bellaluna frowned and turned to follow Kail and the others without a word. When Razz told them to find their buddy, Bella smiled to Gumdrop once before racing up to Sky Feathers, her puppy following close behind.

"Wysteria!" Moony called after the purple mare. But it was too late, the artist was far away from them. She started to run off after her, but the black alicorn stopped her.
"Moon Crystal, don't." Dreamer called after her. "Leave her be. She wants the time to be alone, so give it to her."
"But-but-but, a storm is coming, and-"
"I am sure Wysteria can keep away from the storm and danger. Have faith she'll keep herself safe and she'll be right. Come, let's not fall behind."
Moony sighed. Oooh Wysteria... I want to help you... I guess this is the best I can do for now. The unicorn picked up the cooler her friend dropped and followed Dreamer and Charm.
((cont. where Razz, Kail, etc are.))
Ocasta nodded and watched Twinkle Twirl head off to the others. Yet he didn't follow. As quietly as he came, he left...
((cont. elsewhere I guess.))

Brigid did not seem too pleased with Inti's attitude towards the dark god. Although he respected her among any other goddess of light, he couldn't help but feel diffrently about these sorts of things. She needs to lighten up a bit, He thought, She's always so serious...
With a few nervous mumbles Wysteria was gone. "Huh?" Inti breathed as he gave a puzzled look in the direction in which the purple mare had left. "What in the world was wrong with her?"
He remembered Brigid had told hem to fight for her no matter what it takes, but he didn't want to leave Candy Cane alone to wonder.
(ooc: should he follow wysteria yay or nay?)

Aedeminar's eyes narrowed. "Old hag. Old, yes...I have lived all the years you gods have slept, and more! I am the very LAST of the mages known to you before you were forgotten, and it would behoove you to remember that. All of you, who care to insult me...and Tyr..." She took a few steps back and tossed the wavy mane that fell almost to her knees. "Hag?" Indeed, she still shone with an eteral beauty, for all that she was one who could fade into the slightest of shadows.
"Mina," Tyr said softly.
"He insulted me!" Aedeminar snorted.
"Mina." God stared at follower...and the follower quieted.
