The door opened and in trotted two baby ponies - one a glaringly bright hot pink spangled with gold and silver stars, the other a more subdued white.
"C'mon, Pit!" cried Finders Keepers to the white pony. "I heard they got some really pretty new kittens, I wanna see them!" She bounced across to the pens, her bright wings fluttering.
Pit Stop followed just as quickly, talking a mile a minute. "But mum and dad won't let us have any pets! Or they won't let me have any, anyway... but maybe they'd let you stay over if you had one when your parents are gone. Maybe, right? Though I guess we can still look..."
The baby pair pressed their noses up to the cages full of kittens, tails wiggling excitedly.

[Hello there, welcome to C03.  ] A unicorn mare with neon-yellow mane entered the Pet Shop. It is a beautiful day today, she thought cheerfully. She looked at the Guinea-pigs, that happened to be her favorite animal. Suddenly, she spotted two fillies by the kitten cage. "Hello there," she said politely, as she loved to make new friends. "Aren't they cute?" She eyed the cage, giggling slightly at the fuzzy little creatures. "Oh, I am Sherbet Lemon, by the way." |

Finders Keepers turned to look up at the mare, a big grin spreading across her face. "Yeah, they're cute, they're really, really cute! But we're not allowed pets. Maybe one day, though... I'll ask my parents when they come back."
Pit Stop, reluctant to pull her gaze away from the kittens, swished her tail softly. "I think they're very cute, too," she said quickly, then she turned around, facing Sherbet Lemon. "I'm Pit Stop, and this is Finders Keepers. She forgets her manners sometimes, but you can call her Finder, she doesn't mind that, because Finders Keepers is a bit too long to say all the time. Can I call you Sherbet?" The words come tumbling out in a rush, and she grinned up at the unicorn once she'd spoken, too.

The white unicorn smiled.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. And sure, you can call me Sherbet." She looked around the shop, filled with cages and aquariums. "So...what are you up to?" She asked politely.

"Oh, just looking at kittens," said Baby Finders Keepers, still grinning up at Sherbet. "Though I think I'd rather have like a bunny or something than a kitten. Bunnies are so much cuter! And their noses do this..." She wriggled her nose in an imitation of a rabbit's, then giggled.
Pit Stop laughed at the baby, swishing her tail happily. "Bunnies are cool," she said, turning back to look at the kittens, a little grey and white one in particular. "But I dunno which is better. I'd just like any pet, anything at all.... maybe even a fish or something. Mum and dad couldn't complain about a fish, could they?"

Baby Finders Keepers peered around her, looking bored. "C'mon, Pit Stop, I'm bored in here. Let's go check out somewhere else!"
Pit Stop looked up at the bigger mare, an apologetic smile on her face. "Sorry, Sherbet, but we've only got a little bit of time alone here before we got to go back to my parents. Maybe we'll see you later!"
The two foals trotted out friskily.
