Tristan raised an eyebrow at Drummer. There was a bored expression on his face.
"I simply said that I can not guarantee your well being if you keep this up." He sipped at his coffee.
It was obvious by his relaxed disposition that the thought of a possible fight didn't even seem to phase him. Why should it? He had every bit of confidence in himself. At least... when it came to his ability to start and finish fights.
"Though, you should never take my word." He smiled and sipped at his coffee.

Tristan's threats didn't bother Drummer, but losing his job was not something he was willing to allow.
He swallowed hard.
He relaxed for a moment and stretched his neck to the side with many loud cracks.
"See ya 'round Tristan." he winked. Then looking in Dash's direction, he nodded and walked out the cafe.

Tristan waved to Drummer as the stallion left. That was the first time he had irritated anyone in Ponyville. Ah how he had missed it.
Glancing to his side, he looked at Dash. He could only imagine what was going through his mind.

Dash had been about to say something further when Drummer came back and spoke up. He turned to look at the other stallion, then back at Tristan, and flicked one ear back very briefly.
He couldn't help a smirk when Cotton Candy intervened, but he hid it. /How cute...he has to have the little pink mare fight his battles for him.../ he said in a shielded thought, so that only Tristan could hear it. He had informed Tristan of his powers the other night, in an uncharacteristic show of trust, but he still didn't plan to use them much in anyone else's presence. Still, he couldn't resist that little jibe. Luckily no one else would have been able to hear it.

Tristan smirked and looked at Dash. It wasn't often he heard a rude comment slip from the stallion's mouth, but he had to admit that he enjoyed the rare occasion when it happened.
"So, are you going to eat something anytime soon? Or are you just going to sit here?" He smiled at Dash and raised an eyebrow.

Dash smirked back at him. He usually wasn't so cutting, but a boy had to be evil sometimes.
He blinked. "Eat...yeah...I did come here to eat, didn't I? I guess I got distracted." He grinned, and flagged down another of Cotton Candy's little worker bees, seeing as how Cotton Candy was busy lecturing Drummer, and ordered a cinnamon roll and glass of soy milk . He almost felt sorry for the blue stallion, coming under Tristan's wrath for whatever reason, but he knew Drummer could probably take care of himself.

Tristan quietly drank his coffee. He raised an eyebrow at what Dash had ordered. "Soy milk?"
He had never tasted soy milk in his entire life. It didn't sound very appetizing. Bi-colored eyes just stared at Dash.

Cotton Candy watched as Drummer left the cafe. She took a deep breath and smoothed her cand striped apron.
She went back over to Tristan and Dash.
"Dash, so nice to see you again." she said as she flicked her diamond hoop adorned ear in his direction. " I am really sorry about all of that. That's so not like Drummer. I don't know whats got him all wound up. You two pick something off the menu...anything... it's on me."
She gave them a relieved smile.

He smiled at Cotton Candy. "Don't worry about it, dear," he said sincerely. "It's testosterone poisoning, all stallions have it." He chuckled softly. "And thank you," he added as she mentioned the free meal. "You're such a sweetheart."
He grinned at Tristan. "Yeah, soy milk. It's an acquired taste. They drink it a lot in the Citadel." He waited until the worker bee had brought his order, thanked her, and turned back to Tristan. "Would you like to try some?" he asked, gesturing at the glass and its creamy liquid. "It's quite sweet."

Tristan chuckled softly at Dash's comment. It was true though. "Yeah, don't even worry about it." He smiled at her and nodded.
Glancing at the soy milk Tristan made a skeptical expression. "Sure...."
He took a sip from the straw and blinked. Looking up at Dash, he grinned. "That is really weird." He paused. "But in a good way."

Dash chuckled at his skeptical expression. He'd never even seen a real soybean the first time he'd tried soymilk, but he'd loved it right away. He smiled. "I told you it was good," he said. "Yeah, it's weird at first...definitely not like cow's milk. Different texture...what do you expect when you milk a bean?"

Tristan grinned. "I'm not sure. And I really don't want to know how one goes about milking a bean."
It was rare for Tristan to be this friendly and happy, but for some reason... he always felt that way when around Dash. Go figure.

Dash laughed. "It's a very delicate process. It involves a lot of squashing."
He noticed that Tristan's mood seemed to have lightened since he entered the Cafe, and was glad. The boy was too tense, he needed to lighten up sometimes.

Tristan grinned. He wasn't sure he liked the sound of the process.
Without thinking about it, he cracked his neck and back with one swift movement. "I think I need to go to the spa sometime."
He snorted and looked at Dash. In all honesty, he'd rather have Dash as a personal masseuse... but he wasn't about to say that out loud. At least not at the cafe.

Dash made a face as Tristan cracked his neck. "It's a nice place," he said, "They treat you well there."
Catching the line of Tristan's surface thoughts, he blushed, grinned, and ducked his head.
