Misty entered with Sonic, and found a table. "This place looks nice", she said with a smile. She found it easier to make mindless converasation since her mind was elsewhere.
Misty Moonlight was wondering exactly what had gone on in the psychologist's office, and why she had suddenly spaced out so badly. And whether she should go back or not. Solarvoid had said she could help - but Deja didn't trust her. But then, Misty didn't entirely trust Deja...she supposed one more session shouldn't hurt - just to decide if she was to keep going or not.

Supersonic made his way into the café and looked around. "Yeah." He took a seat by a table and started to wonder what to order. But in his mind, so many questions swirled around, demanding an answer. What happened in there? The blue earthling looked up at Misty Moonlight.

Misty looked at Sonic. He looked...upset. "Is something wrong?"
((Jearggh, it's really short, but I didn't know what else to say.))

Sonic came to his senses and shook his head. "Ah...not really. I was just wondering the same about you. Just what happend in there?" He looked down at the table.

"Oh", Misty said as her eyes widened with realization - it had completely slipped her mind that Sonic might have wanted to know what had happened.
"Well, the odd thing is, I don't really remember. Just her asking me to look into her eyes...this wierd feeling...then nothing. I'm not sure really how long it was after that, but next thing I know she's telling me to come back for my next session." The mare thought for a moment. "Actually, I think something she did must have worked, because Deja's been really quiet." --------------------
Deja Vu had been sitting, watching the scenes from the psychologist's office replay again and again in Misty's mind - apparently she'd been thinking about it too. But her memories were hardly helpful, so the stallion was forced to sit there and close his eyes to focus on drowning out her thoughts and paying attention to his own. Solarvoid had seemes nervous about the whole thing - she'd apparently been into the minds of many other ponies - she was probably just surprised at meeting him...
His gray ears pricked up at the sound of his own name.
"Actually, I think something she did must have worked, because Deja's been really quiet."
"No, I was just thinking", he called out. Then he heard her inwardly sigh.
Deja Vu stood up suddenly and turned around a few times. He knew every nook and cranny of Misty's mind, so once he was positive he was facing in the right direction the stallion took off as fast as he could - which was pretty fast, considering his way of getting around was more a glide than anything else.
He stopped when he felt he'd gone as far as necessary, and looked around. Navigation in someone's mind - particularly Misty's - was always terrible because it was difficult to take in much at once. There were so many shifting mists drifting through the atmosphere and blurring the vision.
But Deja Vu stayed rooted to the spot and soon saw what he was looking for - a fair-sized library containing every book Misty Moonlight had ever read. He quickly located one titled Modern Hypnotism - count on Misty to read such strange books - and sat down again to read.

Sonic did not really know what to reply on this. After a while, he decided to nod. "Perhaps it´s fine then." He still had wary in his eyes, but turned to his menu again. Somehow he got a weird feeling about the whole thing. There actually was something inside Misty´s mind - and Solarvoid, was she honest? Misty found a doctor, and that was great. But Mist Moonlight did not seem to have control over herself during the treatment.

Deja Vu flipped through the book several times, but could not find anything that matched up with Solarvoid's methods. He closed the book with a sigh and turned his head when another one fell off the shelf behind him. Things like that tended to happen - he always assumed it was Misty's subconscious, trying to give him hints.
The stallion wandered over to it and looked at the cover thoughtfully. The words Witches Walk Among Us were printed across the cover, and he smirked - Misty read such junk sometimes. But it had literally jumped out at him, so he picked it up and flipped to the table of contents. His grey eyes immediately snapped to "hypnosis" and he raced through to the correct page number.
"Some ponies of pure evil use a form of hypnotism using only eye contact. This way it is not as easy to detect a Hypnotist, and it is not always as obvious that a pony is being hypnotized. These Hypnotists can most often be recognized by their dark eye color, though some have different-colored eyes. These can be identified by their behavior, such as looking at another pony too intently or for too long."
Deja Vu paused to roll his eyes - ponies jumped to conclusions far too easily. But Solarvoid definitely fit the dark eyes description, so he continued to read a little farther down.
"These Hypnotists convince other ponies to look them directly in the eyes, and then use this mental link to suck out their souls, leaving the victims cold and emotionless."
The stallion took in a deep breath. Great. It's hard enough babysitting Misty without some crazy mare trying to suck out her soul. He closed the book and slowly stood, then began to pace.
The "library" seemed to get impatient with his constant movement and dissolved into the mists, but he did not care - the book wouldn't have been of any help anymore anyway. But what was he going to do? If Misty's soul was sucked out, he really had no clue what would become of him, and even if he was left here the same as before, life would be incredibly dull without any thoughts buzzing around the place.
Misty was too clueless to stand a chance - these Hypnotists had probably taken on much more powerful ponies. But he reminded himself that she did have an advantage - him. He thought of how close Solarvoid had seemed when she was in Misty's mind. He realized that the link between the minds could still be there, if not as strong as before. Then he realized how he could confront Solarvoid before the next "session" - if Misty was in a very deep sleep, he might be able to temporarily leave her mind.
He looked up at what Misty was seeing and was glad to see the sun going down. But he wanted her asleep fast, so he could try out his theory as soon as possible. He paused for a moment, and upon noticing Misty was still thinking what food to order he remembered a sure-fire way to get her to sleep fast.
"You should order some hot cocoa", he called to her. Then he sat down yet again and waited.
--------------------------------------
Misty Moonlight picked up her menu and looked down at it. There was a long silence before Deja suddenly spoke up. You should order some hot cocoa.[/u]
Did he sound slightly anxious? She thought that was an odd remark, since he normally wouldn't care in the sightest bit. But hot cocoa actually sounded good. So she snagged a passing waiter. "Um, could I have some hot cocoa please?"

Sonic looked up from his menu. "Yeah, uh, a cup of hot cocoa for mee to, please. And a sandwich". He put the menu down.

((Nah, it's okay. I was just thinking how my last post was way too long! )) The waiter soon delivered two hot cocoas, and Misty sipped off the top of hers, as it was still very hot. She often had trouble sleeping when she was in the mental facility, and one of the workers that brought food had often brought it to her in the evenings. It was the one thing that was always certain to get her to sleep quickly. So as it cooled off and she was able to drink more at a time, she was beginning to feel very warm inside, and sleepy. It was actually pretty late now. She figured she could probably find an inn somewhere... "Hey, Sonic? It's getting pretty late, and I've had a long day. Do you know of any place I could spend the night?"

The two ponies got their orders, and Sonic, who was starving, glomped his sandwich. I took a while for the cocoa to cool off.
"Hey, Sonic? It's getting pretty late, and I've had a long day. Do you know of any place I could spend the night?"
Supersonic thought for a while. "I don´t have any clue. But there should be one, I guess". Sonic had no problems with sleeping otside, but of course he understood Misty. 'Normal' ponies slept inside. Besides, if he got a pony in his head, he would also sleep inside. Sonic called one of the waiters. "Excuse me, but do you know any place to get some sleep?" The golden yellow unicorn nodded her head. "Of course. There is the Celebration Castle, or the Dragon Inn down the street." She blinked her orange eyes. "Oh, um, thank you."

Misty listened to what the waitress said, and nodded slowly. "The Dragon Inn? That should work", she said sleepily. She was feeling so peaceful, as she always did after a cup of hot cocoa. But she was afraid she either fall asleep with her head on the table or keel over in the middle of the street if she didn't get someplace very soon.
"I really need some sleep...I'm really tired. I'll go see...about the...Dragon Inn. Okay?" The mare's eyelids felt suddenly heavy, and she was aware of the fact that she had walked all of last night.

Without replying, Misty dragged herself out of her seat and started towards the door. "Thanks...", she mumbled.
