(Early Spring, after the War of the Gods)
Adjusting the stylish glasses that were just for show with a manicured hoof, the moviestar diva took a look around the room with a critical eye. The shelves up front were all full, brimming with books about who knows what (and who cared what in her opinion), but the shelves in the back of the newely rebuilt library were still empty and dusty. This was not good.
"I did say, did I not, that the library was to be FULL of books?" She looked pointedly over her glasses at the young man who was scuffing his back hoof on the carpeting. She was every bit the picture of a librarian, complete with a bun and pencil in her hair.
"Y.. yes m'am. But we bought out Novel Ideas and the bookshop in Dream Valley, and there still weren't enough. Plus you only need one copy of each book..." he trailed off.
"One copy? One Copy!" SunnyD threw down the book she had been holding onto the table with a loud smack. "What if more than one pony wants to read it! We need at least... three copies of every book!" She wasn't sure if that was necessary, but it sounded good, and it would fill the shelves.
"Yes, Ms. D," he tried to melt into the floor away from her angry stare.
"That's Ms. Daze. Don't forget it." She turned on her heel and walked to the door. "I want this library filled TOMMORROW. Got that?"
"Yes Ms. Daze!" the boy jumped as she yelled back at him. "Tommorrow."
Nodding, the white mare left the room and slammed the door behind her. Stupid little git leaving the library half empty. And only one book each! She shook her head as she walked down the hallway.
