Flash woke in the new bed with a sleepy blink. She was feeling much better now...and excited to see more of this new place. She creeped out of bed and freshened up in the washroom, ran a brush through her mane and tail and brushed her teeth. All prepared, she left the room and trotted down the hall to meet Kimono. At his door she gave a swift knock. "Hello?" *knock knock*
The purple stallion was seated at a wooden desk, pouring over an old book of maps from years and years ago. Sharp emerald eyes scanned page after page, tracing movements of herds, battles, and changing land titles. He jolted slightly upon hearing a knock on his door.. something that didn't happen often.
Moving away from the table, Kimono shook his mane into place and opened the door, greeting Flash with a shy smile.
"Hello," He said, admiring how nice she looked, but not saying so, "Did you have a nice nap?"

Flash held back a slight yawn. "Oh yes...but I need a good walk to shake it off! Is this a good time for a tour?" She could not help but notice the mad pile of books and papers on his desk. "Or maybe later is better?"
"Oh! No, no," Kimono said with a shy smile, moving forward so as to close the door behind him. "I'm.. I'm always reading," he added, stepping out into the hallway.
"Are you ready to see the town?" He smiled in a kind manner.
"Am I ready!" She smiled back at him..."Yes indeedy! Please lead the way." She stepped out of his way and gave a great sorta silly bow. Was it her or did his eyes twinkle as he smiled at her? She was going to love it here....She hoped he showed her the bookstore!
"Great," Kimono smiled, not showing much excitement on the surface, being the quiet one that he was. The purple stallion exuded a sense of calm in most situations, but was still somewhat socially awkward, especially with mares. He was one of the few stallions who respected and admired a mare for the natural feminine beauty all mares possessed. They were beautiful creatures that should be treated as such, in his opinion. Besides.. his mother had drilled such ideas into him as a foal, anyway.
Kimono lead the fiery mare out of the castle and again into the pleasantly warm summer air. He took a deep breath and started along the path to the town. Kimono glanced back slightly, emerald eyes making sure Flash Fire was still with him.
